It doesnt let us promote any pawns.
- If it is possible to do an en passant capture we have not been able to figure out how to do it. 2. If is possible to promote to a knight instead of to a queen we have not been able to figure out how to do it. 3. Just recently someone has fixed something which wasnt broke, and now it is broke. There is a new very artistic way cool introductory screen replacing the old one. Now the new first screen will not go away and allow us to see the main board, menu, or anything else other than the very cool introductory screen. The chess game is now unavailable and cannot be played. Please return it to how it was, a very useful practice engine. Thanks.
We havent been able to get the app to connect in the last 3 days! It just spins when it starts and never collects.
Great game. Plays a good defensive game. But ads show up at the end of the games after we have paid to have ads removed.
Cool customization option, but the AI is very primitive and easy to cheese. It keeps using the same defense as black over and over again, without fail, in every single opening until like level 15 (out of 25) difficulty, doesnt know how to trade material, and is so pathetically blunder-happy that even the HIGHEST DIFFICULTY LEVEL doesnt know how to do a king-and-queen mate without blundering the latter and drawing. (Ive tested it).
We couldnt eliminate the bright red squares from telling us our optional moves. Its a little annoying. Theres a too long commercial offering between every game or setup action. Its a bit too much. We dont play video games except chess, so being offered to get anything else is pushing us to look for another chess app.
Perfect game with lots of levels. People are worried about the aesthetics and appearance? Chess isn't a game of most beautiful board.

We love this game, and the simplicity of the setup to this game can be taught to anyone curious enough to try. Although Bobby Fischer would not approve.

Whenever anyone has tried to teach us to play chess we couldnt remember which piece could move where. This game is great for learning quickly and increasing your skill level over time.

This game has everything we wanted. Customization, no in-app purchases, no annoying ads, and no glitches that were bother some. The customization is a bit wonky, but once you get the hang of it, its perfect. No, you cant change the shape of the pieces, but thats fine by us, changing the color is good enough, especially since you can change the color to whatever you want. There is no select colors, just sliders that will change the colors, and have nearly infinite possibilities. Im overall satisfied with this game, and cant wait to play it more.

We really like the idea that you gradually move yourself up against the computer, and when you reach a certain level That you cant go any further, you keep practicing until you get it right to reach to the next level. We like the 2D layout.

We are training our daughter to play this game. Thought she really enjoys it, we can not estimate her progress since there is no ELO score.
No adds. It is very nice to play a game with no adds and you can change the colors of pecices and set levels for computer opponent.

Really enjoying being able to increase levels since we havent played in a while. Only gripe is last game we wanted to castle but game wouldnt let us for no reason. Just was not an option for king side or queen side although complied with all castling conditions. Allowed to castle in other games. On the other hand, allowed an en passant move.
Im just a noob…. Once we hit level 17 agitation, frustration and determination begins to set in. Love the game so we love the App.

We are really enjoying playing chess again.
We've always wanted to learn but was thrown by the strategy of the game. Learning how someone could see several steps ahead of each move was beyond us. This gives us the opportunity to figure it out and we're winning. Of course we are a novice working our way up the ladder; at 63 we wonder how far we'll get? We would recommend this to anyone interested in learning.
Really like the accurate 3D representation of the pieces. Like the way you can maneuver the board in four different directions. Best chess game Ive run across.

Probably the best Ive ever, played highly recommend. There was coloring options which we really enjoyed its also a nice experience with great graphics. Theres also an edit mode to make your own scenario and you can have an ai vs ai to see the outcome and it could help you learn. So great chess app.
Newby here Ill really like it but our chess expert friend says it needs to have a history of the last game so you can analyze your game. We couldnt tell him how we won.

This is the best chess app and ion even like chess all that much lol if you down to play tho hmu @majin_juju on insta and Ill slide you our number to play a game or two ;).
Um, had not played chess in years. Its a great at building up those chess skills. A work out for the brain plus we like that you can go back and see the game progression. Just be sure to set the game for a long gameplay first if your a novice or beginner.
Sense your update 3 days ago something has changed. The board look very different now – the look of its squares have changed and are not as good looking now on other words the edges are as crisp like before the update. Our color setting have all changed we had them perfect it had taken our quite sometime to set them the way we liked. Even the pieces colors have changed. We are 75 years old with some dementia so your chess game has been helping our memory quite a bit. But sense we have started playing your game almost 3 years or so ago we had gotten very comfortable with the looks and now that you changed not only the look of its board and its men we cant concentrate enough now sense our memory has become so much worse. And hope you dont try to blame our memory because we would play one or 2 of our great grandsons ages 12 and 15 they agreed with us its not our memory. Oh why did you do this we doubt that we can play it now we would need to learn the new look something we just cant seem to do sense its changed. Please some how put the look back. Thank You so much we really need your game the way it was,Cheers.
1st. You cannot switch and be black. You should be able to switch so you can learn the best starting moves. This is the main reason we gave it a three star rating. 2nd. Some times we feel it go to draw to soon. We could be wrong on that cause Im a beginner. But over all its a great game.

We found this game to have great graphics and really enjoyed a few games. Maybe it was set in medium mode because it did some obvious oversights. We deleted this game after twice in a row it stopped the game as a win. Once when we were in check it wasnt checkmate and then after starting a new game it claimed it won when there wasnt a play on the king. We found it disturbing that it claimed a win and stopped the game twice in a row. Very frustrating whats the purpose of playing if the program is defective. Should rename the game Russian roulette Chess. Dont waste your time.
We just downloaded the app. We are really disappointed, it will not let you make valid moves and does not tell you why. Very frustrating. Im deleting it.

Ok, where do we start? We literally just got this game like a few minutes ago and started playing immediately. Im now on Level 6, and we AM ADDICTED. Usually we do not like the educational games, but this game is amazing. If youre a chess nerd like us, youll love everything about this game. You can alter the difficulty, alter the color of each pawn and piece, later who starts, alter whether or not you want to play against AI or a human being, and more. We hope this review is helpful to you, and if you like chess, GET THIS GAME IMMEDIATELY.
