Update: we changed rating from 2 stars after update seemed to fix the endless ads. We understand the need for ads. Used to be before or after a game, now it is every 2 guesses and more. Dont know if Ill keep playing.
It is tricky but fun no glitches.
Wordle is the best game!! It doesnt have any adds and it is free. It also gets you thinking, so if you are on a break from school or your job, you can still think but it is fun. We think this is a great game and it keeps you thinking.
Would enjoy much more if there so many ads interfering with play.

Game used to have an ad after every challenge (6 guesses). Which was annoying but we tolerated it. Now there are ads after every guess. We love this game but can no longer play it due to this.
This used to be our go to game in the mornings. Ive been playing since April 2023. There was always an ad before the game started, which is fine but now there are ads during game play!! It makes it almost impossible to use. Im finishing the month and then we wont be coming back in the New Year. This was a horrible change.

Its a fun game but there are way to many ads! Literally between every game there is an ad and it is so annoying but the game is really fun and gets you thinking.
We suggest never downloading this game. It is fun to play and very addictive but the ads are abusive. You will literally spend far more time watching ads than playing the game.

We enjoy playing wordle, but this app is annoying. An ad pops up after every single word entry and the ads WILL NOT close/end. We have to close the app and reopen in order to make our next word. It makes us lose our train of thoughts and makes playing the game less enjoyable.
The game is not enjoyable when youre trying to guess the word and every 2 minutes youre interrupted by an unskippabled ad. Maybe if everyone in American wasnt a greedy money hog wed have things to enjoy.
This is a great game but for the ads that play on and on and on. The ads and the transitions between levels take too long to play. We guess Ill delete the app, which we dont want to do because we love the game, but all the ads are KILLIKNG ME,.
Ive enjoyed Wordle for a number of years but am thinking its time to move on. Ive never minded the ads between words, but they began popping up in tue middle of solving tue puzzle. Thats very irritating. The deal-breaker, though, is the game has stopped working over the last week. We open the app, watch the ad, choose the daily puzzle, watch another ad, then the screen goes black. It just stays that way and never recovers. The only way out is to close the app.
12/27/25 v2.5.2 Ads were bad then really horrible then just bad again but are now getting worse. Now they start in the middle of a game again! Will play the rest of 2025 then delete the app until they fix that problem. They think we are stupid. Pay $ to remove ads for a month or almost the same $ to remove ads for last 3 days of month?! Id pay $ to remove ads lifetime for daily puzzles but monthly- no way. Some words are not words. Even their own dictionary has no definition. Other words sometimes are words no human has used before but technically are in the dictionary. As far was game play goes, this is the best Wordle app out there. NYT only has 5-letter puzzle.
We can tolerate ads but this game has too many and they interrupt you mid game.

Today: You fixed it. We changed our rating form a 2 to a 5. On Monday: we play a lot of games, but cant pay for every game, so we tolerate ads. Ive had Wordle for awhile and its good for the mind. There were ads every two games or so, which is tolerable. But today there were ads between EVERY ENTRY. The ads interrupt your train of thought in puzzle solving. That level of disruption takes away any benefit or joy in the game. Please dont be so greedy. Im moving on to other games.
We love the game. We play daily but we used to be able to play or replay a missed day but the ads no longer load.
This is an excellent challenging brain game.
A lot of reviews about the ads but we paid for the $5.99 special for beginners to get rid of ads permanently. It was worth it and made gameplay great. (Not sure if we would have paid the regular price of $9.99 though or if it wasnt permanent). With that being said can you please fix notifications? We receive zero iPhone notifications when someone finishes a game or makes a guess. We hope you fix this or make it a feature if it isnt already.
Love the game been playing for years. Now since the last few days we now get an ad after every letter guess. So if it takes us 4 tries to get the word we get an ad after each guess. So annoying. We will probably stop playing as it is now too many ads and very annoying.

Our streak recently surpassed 500 and we have started seeing repeated words that have already been solved. For example, usury and several others. Surely the games creator(s) could have come up with more than 500 five-letter words. We love Wordle but, sadly, we guess Im done. Have fun until you hit that point.
We love this game sm, its always awesome for rough daysbut it says its 18+, and we have parental controls so we cant play anything over 18+ so it made us delete the game. When we looked why it was 18+, it said guns n stuff- why are we lying.
The game is great and fun but it gets to the point that we get an ad for every single word we put in. It got to the point that it annoyed us and our friends so, Im sorry but Im deleting it.
The app is just too busy. After each game there is just too much to click on.
The ads after almost every guess, not just a win, has happened before on this game. You fixed it before, we all know you can fix this.
You have to watch an ad before you play each game, after one attempt to watch another ad, and you have to watch another ad after you finish each word. If this keeps up, we will be removing this app from our phone at the end of this week, and Ive been playing it since 2022.
Im receiving what we think is a bug, where Im getting an ad after every word we submit. And then more ads after we complete the level. No ads cost 10 dollars, so the game is basically unplayable.
The game its self is amazing, but their are to may adds, definitely not recommended unless you pay the $8-$9 fee to remove adds whitch doesnt even work (dont pay its a scam).
Ive been playing this game for awhile now. Just recently there must have been an update and Im now getting ads after every word try. Its annoying and a quick way to end playtime. It used to be an ad at the beginning of playing and one at the end. We were fine with that. If it continues, Ill probably stop playing.

Every guess we make leads to an ad. Its unplayable.
The update current as of December 2025 frequently does not load. It just sticks on the white title screen. Quitting the app does not work to solve it. Sometimes it is several hours before it works again. Otherwise great game. We paid for the ad removal however it is not sharing ad removal across family sharing members, thats bad.
We like this game. However, there are far too many ads.

We love this game as a C.E.O and personally think that this game should let people add friends and connections so it can be more fun with siblings,friends,relationships and etc.
We have parental controls on our phone so we can't have apps rated 18+ we had this app and we love it but then the age rating changed so know we don't have it.
Played for several years. Really enjoyed it. Until today. We were closing in on 16,000 consecutive wins, and when we opened it today, it cleared everything we had done and started us back at zero. Any way to save it? Otherwise Im done. Thank you.
