This is our favorite game to play with our partner side by side when we have a few minutes to spare when out and about. It runs great on the iPhone XS.

We love this game, but they seemed to have pretty much written this project off as of 2021 which is too bad, more themes would have kept this one going.

We get that matchmaking is difficult because few people are on at a given time, but at least let us play online with our friends who also have this game. This is really a 5 star game if they add that feature back.

Whenever we go out to dinner our kids, we always breakout OLO. We love playing this game while we wait it is easy and a great way to pass time.
It’s quite simple – elegant, atmospheric, relaxing, AND taxing on the brain. You will be playing this one for MANY days to come – Guaranteed!!! Such a great friendly game to whip out when you and your friends are feeling bored and all open up your phones. So incredibly worth the small price of $2. Look at it like this, a good Xbox game is around $60, for a good game on the app store, you pay 1/30 of the price of an Xbox game. Yes that is math, numbers, evidence. Our fellow female human body next to us said however that the game was too boring, didnt really make sense, and was to easy. But when we look back at our $2 purchase, we think about all the great games we had with our friends, instead of all digging our heads into our phones.
But since it doesnt get a lot of attention and advertisement, the online section of this game is a graveyard.
We love this game so much but it desperately needs an update.
This game is simple yet some how strategically complex. Easy to pick up and hours of fun. We LOVE the online mode where you can play real people and we’re a big fan of its minimalist design. This is the kind of game you play with friends.
Bought it in Android, and iOS. This game needs prequels, sequels, we would buy it all. The best multiplayer game in the world.

Our family used to play ‘hockey’ with a sugar packet while at restaurants. Now our husband and we can play OLO without sending sugar flying across to the next table.
Great game! Like shuffleboard if shuffleboard was fun. It’s annoying when people quit mid-game just cause they’re losing. Maybe we are just too awesome for them to bear. Yeah, we’ll go with that. Badly needs a one player mode.
Its a fun game but Ive been wanting to play multiplayer and we can never find someone to play with. We guess not enough people play the game for it to pair us quickly which is why adding AI would be a great idea. Please add AI (with different difficulties) to play against. That would make the game much better and help solve the problem of long wait times for multiplayer Thanks you.
This game is really great! Simple and fun! But you could do a few things to make this game better. 1. Make more game themes and/or make customizable themes. 2. Make the players be able to customize how many people they want to play 3. Fix the online player finder. It takes literal hours to fetch an opponent if you cant find an opponent let the player know there isnt one available and give than an AI option. Thank you for creating this amazing game! We hope you take our suggestion into consideration.
We love this game, but it needs an update for the iPhone X.
Ive had this game for a few years. Its always a good one to pull out when waiting for a movie or food. Ive used the online capabilities a little in the past, but since the change to Game Center in iOS 10, it is virtually worthless. OLO has not been updated for the new Game Center. You cannot add friends through the app and you can no longer add friends through iOS. Use of the game is has dwindled over the years, so getting a random opponent can take a ridiculous amount of time. Im not sure why this game would have been featured as an App of the Day when it outdated and not maintained. Its still fun for local play, but it is lacking for a 2017/18 game.
Fun game, but it would be great to be able to play asynchronously rather than having to play live against someone else who is currently logged on.
Takes a long time to find a match when waiting to find a match, our phone screen turns off, so then we have to restart the match-finder.
A fun game but theres no way to invite your friends.
This was a featured app that we bought without reading much about. Its fun but its annoying that it is not optimized for the iPhone X screen size. For a featured app, premium price, this is super annoying and disappointing.
Was a good game for a while, but we can never find an opponent, so we finally gave up.
Once you play the game, it is very addictive! But getting there may test your patience. Finding another person to play takes a long time and often simply doesnt happen. We wish instead of fetching opponent, there would be a choice to just pick opponents that are willing to have a match and for those that are waiting, they can play AI opponent. Either way, after paying for this app, often being frustrated because Im waiting for an opponent, takes all the fun away. Also, we believe there should be a penalty for players that leave a game early just because they think they will loose high. :-) hope this gives some input for upgrades.
Really fun game when it works correctly. Takes forever to find an opponent, and has frozen a couple times while playing. We love playing it and would love a one player mode.
Desperately needs a single player option or play the robot type of thing. Requires another player and online sometimes does not retrieve anyone. Lots of fun, but most apps are played alone.
We like the game, we only wish online features were not buggy. Takes too long to find an opponent and it doesnt allow us to add friends to game play which is a huge disappointment.
Playing with friend over internet doesn’t work. It keeps saying one of us has left the game. Works well as a pass and play game. Fix multiplayer please.
We were under the impression that a new OLO game was coming out September 1st, 2020 (today). We had preordered it for auto download at a $2.99 cost but nothing happened so we did a search and came up with what we thought was the new game but judging from the older reviews thats not the case. We tried several times to play an online game but there is nobody to play. Needless to say we will get our money back. The developers did a poor job of premiering their new game if there is one.
The concept of this game is great, and we remember being excited about its potential in 2012. But since then… Not much has happened. — It hasn’t been updated for newer screen sizes — Multiplayer matching has become a bit of a ghost town, creating long wait times — No additional features have been added Strangely, we seem to see apple promoting this game every couple months on the app store’s front page. With all the new, inventive games being developed today… Aren’t there better games and more deserving developers to draw attention to.
Fun games but dont expect a plate people on the line. It doesnt work. Cant find anyone to play with. Hasnt been updated in quite a while and there seems to be no support.
We really enjoy the game the 10% of the time it actually works… The game is super buggy, freezes often, usually see a bunch of black blocks on the screen which nothing happens afterward and have to close out and go back in. When no bugs, we spend anywhere from 30 seconds to 3-4 mins waiting to play a random player online.
The game could be cool but no one plays online and the game lacks an AI mode to play as a single. It no one is playing online, OLO should simulate a player.
This game seems to be fun but we could never play through without it freezing randomly and making the game unplayable when it comes to online play. We’d usually have to close the app and start over. Please fix this and we happily give it a better rating.
Paid for game. Screen came up Fetching Player but would never find one. We guess nobody is playing online. They need to disclose that somewhere in the description.
What a waste of money. Rarely leave reviews but we paid $2.99 for a game that doesnt even have a working online and theres no CPU either so you cant play unless you got friends with you.
This game was so boring. It never explains who to play. It is not worth 3 dollars. It is a simple game. That probably has duplicates in the App Store. There is nothing fun about the game. You get no sense of fun playing it are sense of wanting to play it. This app was so not worth the money that a wrote a review and this is the first we ever wrote. We would give this zero stars but Apple will not let us.
Im sure this game has a very fun local play mode, great for parties and friends. This mode has a 2 player mode and a 4 player mode but Im just 1 player. Since we have no one to play with Ill just go to Online mode right? Wrong! We dont know why this is maybe its the fact there are no players or maybe something is wrong on our end. If you only want to buy this game for the online mode save you $3 and go get this seasons battle pass.
We can complete one game at a time, maybe twice a day. The app freezes 70-80% of the time prior to or during a match. Its disappointing because this game was so simple and fun when it did work.
The game play is fine, and would be fun if the online portion worked. Ill be seeking a refund.
Saw this app advertised on the App Store and purchased it given that Ive had a lot of success with their previous recommendations. Extremely boring game and not worth the $$. Complete rip off.
The concept is cool, but the online function either doesnt work or the game is so unpopular that nobody plays it. This game is not worth the money. Im sorry we purchased it and its going to be deleted. Avoid.

Does not function as described in online friend mode. Developer did not update with changes to Game Center. App is dead. Find something else. We hate lazy developers.
Just bought this app to play friends but doesn’t appear to be using latest game kit – thus no way to play opponents beyond those who can hold your phone. Is this noticed in the description? Suggest lowering price if wont have full multi player.
9 out of 10 times we have waited for a player and then our ADD KICKS IN , And then we’re off to the next app, we’ll give it another try.
You cant play it online at all. Ive waited for over an hour to connect to another play but havent had any luck.
