We found Under Leaves to be a fun game that really engages your brain. Its enjoyable searching for the hidden objects among the wilderness-themed puzzles. In addition, the game felt soothing to us. While it could be a tad frustrating when we couldnt find the well hidden objects, it was mostly a relaxing experience. The puzzles are full of calming music, nature ambience noises, and an art/animation style that is pleasing to look at. We also liked how the levels built up on each other as we progressed. Meaning that the levels are grouped into different areas which feature various animals for that zone. In conclusion, we highly enjoyed this peaceful and intriguing game. We hope more levels are added in the future.

Gorgeous visuals and music, and gets more a bit more difficult as it goes. A really great balance of calm and challenging that makes for a relaxing and engaging puzzle. Id buy a sequel or a major update in the same style in a heartbeat! Im also a fan of Myst, Gris, Journey, Sky, Flower, Monument Valley 1 & 2, Blendoku, Blue Block, and Townscaper. We wish more games were as aesthetically pleasing as well as interesting to play as these are, and Under Leaves fits right in that list of enjoyable beauties.
This game is our new fave. We think having an underlying appreciation for all species & their interconnected ness makes this even more appealing to us. The graphics & audio, the entire interface all work together to make this a gentle game that hones ones focus but is also a relaxing escape. It is not without challenge but somehow is completely positive (in contrast with games like Prune, which takes ones emotions up & down a bit).
We're so happy we found this game. It's beautifully illustrated. The puzzles are gradually more challenging with a sweet surprise after each level. Thank you, Developers.
We cant even express how much we love this game…and how much we wish there were more levels and more games like this. Its beautiful visually and audibly. This is the first game that we havent immediately turned all of the sounds off on. To the developers- please, please make more levels.
The music and graphics are wonderful.
An absolute beautiful, hidden gem in the app store. This game brings us pure tranquility, which we've yet to find in the many meditation/relaxation apps available. The aesthetic is gorgeous, and the sound/music is divine. We've never heard a soundtrack as such that makes us feel completely at ease, we would love to be able to download it just for meditation! It's not too easy or difficult. It just flows. We do wish the levels were a little longer, or became longer as you move through the game. The game, overall, is not long enough – we would willingly pay for more! This game just brings us an overwhelming sense of peace, which we were not expecting, and now we crave more. Please add more to this game! It's truly unique and special – one of a kind. Thank you.

Im always on the prowl for artfully executed experiences that are truly relaxing from beginning to end, and have found that they are more difficult to find than one would expect. We cannot abide the myriad flashing-light, garish, UGLY, tsunami-coined, screaming freemium games that have been increasingly clogging the front pages of the App Store for years, so stumbling upon the quiet wonder that is Under Leaves is a joy. We prefer digital journeys, not challenges, as life proffers plenty of those as it is; we want to escape depression and angst, not find it in our games. Im just hoping that the developers will update their beautiful offering with many more animals and scenes in the future: maybe add a few from North America?? Bravo, guys, cant wait for more.

Its a simple game, but so very aesthetically pleasing! And we didnt turn the music off, which is very rare for us. Ive done all the animals, but we will enjoy visiting this one again.

This is a great take on hidden object games. Its very relaxing, the music is beautiful, and the artwork is lovely. The only reason we cant give it five stars yet is due to the confusing way you have to navigate getting to get to each level. Typically, once youve finished a level in a game, it advances automatically. In this game you have to hit checkmarks and Xs and checkmarks again, or was it Xs again? In any case, you get our point. When it advances to the next level (and after using a hint) more easily, Ill give it five stars.
This game is so beautiful & relaxing but it needs to be much longer. It seems like its over in the time you would spend doing a free trial or demo. Not long enough & that part is disappointing.
We dont play this game much anymore. It was great at first. Beautiful graphics.
The game is beautiful and challenging. But bad interface. It teaches you to find the things then press check. Then in the same upper right corner is the reset progress button, followed by a check or x decision which our three year old always presses check. Doesnt understand what the menu does, why is it so easy to find in common familiar workflow.
Controllers (AppleTV or third party) dont work with current version of game and AppleTV. The arrow drags around, but no clicking with any button works.
Lots of games claim to be relaxing, but then they have a countdown timer, or twitchy controls, or limited lives or something. This game is truly relaxing. Beautiful art, excellent atmospheric sound, no pressure at all. Only minus is that its not scaled to fill an iPad Pro screen, so we have an extra black border around the edge. Its not that big a deal.
This is a fun, relaxing, beautiful, and simply charming game. You can easily play it alone, with a friend, or with children, and its am exquisite reminder of the simple beauty of nature. Way to go, developers.

We thought ahh, a kids game, this'll be easy… Great graphics, beautiful music Well, we're being challenged and we're very good at Hidden Object games! We've just begun, and am enjoying this game a LOT -and hoping for more levels down the road! Or a Part II or something.
This is a really fun game, and we love the music. It's really fun to play.
Often what makes a good game is not the game itself, but the way it is created. That is a perfect example of why this game works. Normally we do not enjoy search and find games, but this is different, due, in our opinion, to the reason that the searching is as much of a pleasure as the finding. This app is a great thing to use if you are in bed and you just want to mellow out. It has organic sounds that remind us of places with life, and a very slight ongoing musical chorus over it. As you play, the search does get tougher, but not finding the items just means you get to relax longer By the way, we are 45, and we love playing this game. Its not just for kids.

This game is visually stunning. Whimsical, adventurous, complicated and fun to do. Sometimes maddening. Most of all, relaxing to look at, even the more difficult levels. Very zen for a search and find game. Our only complaint is that there hasnt been an update in a year. Id pay for it if the developers came back and paid attention to those of us aching for new levels. Come back.
This is such a cool app/game. We love the art and music. We read the story about how this game came to be and felt compelled to leave a review. Our 3 year old adores this game, and we love the sounds. So serene and peaceful. It is surprisingly challenging. She has completed the game 5 or 6 times and still plays it daily. It is a lovely and well made game. So calming and such a nice change of pace for kids games.

Easily engaging meditation-like inducing music follows charming and colorful wilderness and aquatic scenes sprinkled with a variety of deftly hidden images. Awaiting chapter II.
Great fun playing with grandchildren.
The art style is wonderful, and adds to the mystery of seeking the items that the animals need. The music is soft and sets a great atmosphere. Our only complaint was how short the game is. It took us about an hour to beat, and cost us two dollars of quick (but satisfying) entertainment.
