We have played this game for years and really enjoy it. Recently, the display has changed. The board is smaller and the right side with players names and buttons is enlarged. It makes the dominoes much smaller and not as easy to touch accurately. Dont know why that has happened.
Both this version and the original version also by amuseware started crashing today despite reboot of iPhone and reinstall.
We love this game especially since we play quickly. Also got our husband to play too.

We like this version but have lost the icon on our iPad. To get it we need to go to the AppStore to open it when we want to play the icon doesnt reappear on our iPad so we cant delete it and download it again. Help how can we get the icon back.
When playing Janet after her first play she only had 3 dominoes left. No wonder we keep losing.
We feel like the graphics could be better and the sounds are pretty lame. And the train sound would make it more like the actual game! Otherwise we like it a lot.
This is our favorite game. But suddenly it will no longer download to our iPad wish it could be fixed.
It works well when it does but now it loads then shuts off. Unloaded the game and redownloaded and still doing it. You gotta major bug.
We dont love the upgrades. Slow is too slow and medium is too fast.

Easy to play, some minor bugs. Wish there was an easier way to turn the bones around. Inadvertent double tap can play the bone, but it is just a game. We wish we could add more players and online games would be a blast.
We love this game and havent minded most of the minor bugs the app has dealt with, but since the newest update, the game speed gets faster and faster as we play. We like to play in the slow mode, but can only play for a few minutes before it kicks it up to medium or fast. We have to reset the game in order to get it to go back to slow for a few minutes again. Ive tried deleting and re-downloading it with no luck. Ill continue to play because we love it, but we would greatly appreciate a fix to this annoying change.
We like the game play but randomly it just closes the app and wont let you reopen it. You have to delete the app and then reinstall it.
For an app that we purchased there are a lot of bugs!! It will miscount points, give us negative numbers (still havent figured how that happened), play one player through for several rounds before someone else can play. Dominos will show up and then go missing and then show up again… Just to name a few. It becomes very frustrating.
Keeps crashing when a play is taken from a lower line and why would one anyone play on our line when we have to draw even in the start of play.
We really do enjoy this game but it constantly freezes up and we have had to delete and re-load the app several times since purchasing this game. In reading the reviews it looks like we are not the only one! We wish this could be fixed so that players get what they purchased. Deep South.
The only way it will work is if you delete it from the ipad and then download it again…the problem is that you have to do it every time. We tried to open app support, but it doesnt work either.
Ive been playing this game for days and thoroughly enjoying it but after about 3 completed games today, suddenly it starts to come up, the letters that spell amuseware.com as it comes up, begin to quiver, then instantly the game minimizes. Ive tried it 6 to 7 times with the same results, so we rebooted our phone, that didnt work either.
This game worked great forever. Suddenly it wont even open – we touch the icon, it flashes likes its going to open, then nothing. Its too bad because this was our favorite.
We like the game. But we paid money for it so we dont expect it to keep kicking us out that we have to delete and reinstall. We want our money back.
We played this game for a while several years ago. Our favorite UI on anyexican Train game. Dis not play the game Ed for a couple of years. Decided to play again. Still the same good game, but…. About every ten games the game will just quit. Goes either to the home screen, or just clicks to a black screen. When we try to re-entry the game, the screen flashes, then back to the home screen. Randomly on a game, the screen Will not let us play our domino. After three tries or so, the computer makes its move. That's nothing. Not sure if this is a developer issue, or an Apple issue. We know that Apple tries to throw every roadblock they can st developers. Even worse on iMac. Ever wonder why you can't find any good apps on that pl as reform anymore. Now it is happening on IOS. If not fixed soon, we'll just non reload the app. If it keeps happening on iPhone, then we'll finally go to Android for our next phone. THIS GAME FAILS TO OPEN BETWEEN 12 to 30 GAMES PLAYED. Only fix is to delete, then download. A shame such a good concept is ruined by less than adequate developers who cannot maintain the app.

Why…..every time there is an update all the stats reset. That is annoying. We like what you are trying to do as Ive been a fan long before this option.
Would be great but sometimes grabbing a tile freezes the whole game making it in playable.
The new update does nothing but freeze our screen and kick us out of the app. There are many times when there are obvious plays but the app will not let us make the play. If we try again, it licks us out. When we go back in the app, it has added hundreds of points to our score and is still frozen on the same play. Our only option is to delete the app and reload it. But within minutes the same thing happens again. We have been playing Mexican Train for years. The first version was much better than the newer version, but cannot be used on the newer iOS.
Since the last upgrade, we have been unable to play the game. It continually crashes and takes us back to the main menu.
We have been playing Amuseware Mexican Train since 2008 from the original version almost daily. This newer version is almost as good as the original. This version is compatible with Apple iOS 11 and is brand-spankin' new. It still has a few minor glitches to be worked out, but it still fits the bill. We're sure that Amuseware is on top of it and this version will continue to get better and better. Customer service is outstanding and we will be a dedicated user for many years to come.

We loved v1.8! Dominoes automatically flipped to correct position when tapped lightly or when pulled into a train at bottom of screen. V2 doesnt seem to do this. Worse yet, in v2, tiles can get stuck and freeze on screen between top and next row when being dragged downward. Once you pull another tile the stick one disappears from your hand. If you try to play and go out the counter says you still have 1 tile. We hope Scott will fix this bad bug soon, else Ill be jumping to a different MT app.
This would be a great app if it did not freeze. It happens so frequently that Im going to delete the app.
Game locks up. We havent tried reinstalling yet, but so far our opinion would be that we are sorry we bought it. The old one was so reliable but incompatible with the new operating system.
We had the original game on our phone and loved it. Had to buy the updated version to work on our new phone. It is awful. Locks up, dominos disappear, speed is either too slow or too fast. Sorry we spent the money.
Love the game! But frustrated with the freezing and restarts. After the game it freezes, have to restart to play again – we go back to the older version on another device – please fix.

We've been a fan of this app in Windows and IOS, tho the iPhone app offered less options. The New IOS app gives us all the options, and it plays faster. You can play a slow deliberate pace, or fast when you don't feel like thinking. It's easy to customize to play your way! Still the best Mex Train.
Great game! A few bugs may still need fixing but it is wonderfully set up and works very well. The game also allows the player to select certain options before you play such as the level of play, whether you can go out playing a "double", how much the double blank domino counts against you, etc etc. If you like Mexican Train, you will LOVE this APP! ENJOY.
It's a fun game but there are a few glitches. The game shuts down right in the middle.
We do not care for this update on Mexican Train. We prefer the other before this one. But on our iPad the older one doesn't work like it use too. Sorry but will not use this new one.

We are really enjoying it. It is addicting for this disabled veteran so Im playing it too much. We have loved Yatzy, even with its bugs, many of which were recently improved. We play Yahtzee with our wife and it would be nice to add another live person here. We have no idea the ,magnitude of programming that would take.
We really like this game, when our mind gets bored or just jumbled up with thoughts. This game takes us away.
We love the game and haven't had any issues.
We play this game on our iPhone 12 and various iPads. Works very well for us. An occasional crash but is comes back up fine. Our only suggestion is to place the Mexican train in the same spot on the iPhone as it is on the iPad version. Right now the iPhone has the Mexican train at the top but the iPad version has it near the players train (which is easier to follow). We would love to play this with others remotely using turn-based or at least live play.
Ive been playing this game for years. Any time there is a glitch we delete it and download it again and voila all fixed! Worth the money.
Love this GameWish there was a version for our iMac! Other Mexican Train versions out there do not compare! We love the UNDO feature Love the OPTIONS LOVE the ease of play and large Dominoes! Thank You Thank You THANK YOU.
