Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

One of the most fluid, well executed, entrancing games Ive experienced. Kudos to the developers. Gameplay is flawless, the number of puzzles is perfect (330). Ive solved them all several times, but Ill let a year pass & give it another go only to find it still quite challenging. Ive been doing this over seven years. An all time favorite.

We just really love this game and can replay all the time.

Simple concept, easy to look at (though a dark mode would be appreciated), immensely satisfying to play.

Our nieces were playing with our phone and asked what Colorcube was. We told them its this amazing game that we loved and we finished it but we couldnt bring ourselves to delete it because it was so awesome. And the youngest said, you didnt finish it. And we said, yes we did, like 3 times. And she said, no look theres more. We literally snatched the phone out of her hand and squealed. A middle aged woman in a fast food joint with an 8 year old and an 11 year old. So yeah… That happened. Thats how incredible this game is.

The puzzle is unique and easy to learn, but also complex and fun.

This is the one game we replay over and over again. If not for the mind-bending puzzles, then definitely for the beauty of its animations. We love every bit of this app.

This game you can tell is designed really well with a good and simple user interface. Tricky game but kept us coming back.

Great app! Very challenging BUT we were so disappointed when we finished all the levels.

We got this game years ago and kind of went back to it when we were looking for something beautiful, rewarding, and easily distracting to fall into id go back. Just finish and Im equally happy and sad theres not more.

This is the best free puzzle game out there! No ads, just chill colorful puzzles with color accessibility variations.

If you like puzzles, this is a good app to have.

We love this game we just wish it updated with more puzzles more often :/.

We love this color and shape game.

This game is absolutely gorgeous and visually striking in its geometric simplicity, but don't be fooled! You may have to walk away more than once and come back fresh to find a solution. More levels, please.

This one is for those who love solving puzzles like us !! Great way to pass time . Loved the simplicity of the game , and the complexity of some levels of the puzzle.

Easy on the eyes. Challenging. Linear and consistent abstraction mechanics. We have completed the full set at least a dozen times. Real rap this is our favorite app.

We played this game at our spare time for years and finally finished all 330 levels today. Really loved it. Its a pity when we saw it stopped updating. Hope the developer will update this game one day.

Its perfect. Simple to understand, a challenge to master, and a must for anyone that enjoys working in additive color (lighting).

Never really write reviews but it's been a long journey to finish all 330 levels download it a while back but it's really been fun to play recently relaxing of u like calming music and puzzles we guess lol.

We just finished the entire game! We downloaded it a long time ago back when the App Store had free-app-Fridays. And we loved it! We left it alone for a long time, then got back into it, starting back from the beginning. It is challenging, but so so satisfying when you complete the puzzle! Awesome game! Thanks for the journey.

This game really one of our best, its really fun and we enjoy it and benefit from it, this game teach us that if something became hard take it easy step by step and you will win it :) , its make you think, try , do this do that. We would really recommended it to anyone who love spending his free time on beneficial games.

We completed all 300 levels and enjoyed it. We played it over time and we think its worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed solving these puzzles. The visualization required is extreme. For us there was an added benefit from this puzzle game. We are visually handicapped and it caused us to learn how to switch VoiceOver mode on and off and to control the zoom feature.

We love this app, it's great for when we want to play a game but still feel like we're engaging our brain in a relaxing way! Our one suggestion would be to have the option for a hint. We like that this game doesn't get bogged down with accumulating hints and using those to fake your way through the game. But the option for an infrequent hint would be helpful, for when you're truly stuck. It would be great if the hints only showed you part of the answer, so it doesn't just give you the entire solution. Besides that, we think this is a great app! We also love that it has the option to adjust for people that are colorblind, awesome job being inclusive and just including that in the functionality of the app.

A workout for your brain! Very helpful in thinking and learning about color – even some wonderful color blind options. A nice and relaxing game that also helps you stretch your mind! We loved it.

Make in 3d please and add more levels.

Only complaint: we want more puzzles! To meet that need, we plan to switch the color scheme and start again.

Add more levels and better shapes. The first shapes were the best.

Aesthetically refined, sonically soothing, and very engaging. We played through to the very end that says a lot, as we usually abandon games. The mid levels get too easy – the challenge isnt graduated the best, but it does end with some real head-scratchers. Good job, developers! Fun.

We gave it five stars because it had no hints, you had to figure out what was going on, and it was a beautifully executed puzzle.

We have played it 1-million times. It never gets old.

This game grows on you fast! Love how the target configuration is derived from viewing the pattern on flattened view of a rotated cube. And then how it morphs into the next target puzzle is pretty sweet. We would only change one thing. We would keep it from automatically loading the next puzzle unless the player is ready – so you can play with your solution to the current one and understand it.

The rules of the game are simple to understand. The game can be unbelievably easy at times, and a bear another. We would gladly purchase the next installment.

Colorcube is one of those games you hope the person behind you on the train is watching as you solve the latest puzzle because you are a freaking genius. It reminds us of Bart Bontes game Factory Balls, but more challenging and with a great aesthetic. Features we would like: Ability to go back to solved puzzles and analyze them. Sometimes we would solve it accidentally and want to spend more time examining it. Player created levels. Extend the life of the game. We would pay an IAP to gain access to more. Let players rate difficulty and fun factor. * Daily challenge. Failing user levels, how about a randomized daily level? We dont even know if that would produce good levels. Great job.

Ill admit, we were kind of sad when we finished all of the puzzles. Color Cube is a satisfying, beautiful puzzle game and it offers just the right level of challenge.

Been playing this for quite some time and always love coming back to it. Just finished level 270. Pretty satisfied. We dont remember which ones were the hardest but we swear there were a couple we were stuck on for weeks. One in particular stumped us so hard we quit the game for a while. Anyway, really a great game. Totally worth the time.

This is a well-designed game, and we love that they also added features to make it accessible for color-blindness.

Our favorite kind of game. Thanks for the journey.

Satisfying puzzler with relaxing bgm. The concept of the game is well implemented. It's both challenging and entertaining; good way to spend a quiet afternoon. Just wished it had even more levels or a second pack of matching puzzles.

It is refreshing to play a game that doesn't have ads, coins, and a daily log-in bonus. Simple and elegant design with great execution. Easy to learn, but lots of challenging levels. Thanks for making colorblind modes, we couldn't have enjoyed it otherwise.

Beautiful puzzle game, no rush take as long as you need to solve the beautiful designs.

Such a simple concept, yet the puzzles bend the imagination. As the levels progress, greater complexity is offered to the player, which starts as a blessing but ultimately becomes a curse. At the start, you struggle to make complex patterns from simple shapes. By the end youre struggling to construct simple patterns from complex shapes. Its a beautiful progression.

This is one of the few games Ive ever finished all the way through. Took us a long time, playing whenever we had some time to kill. Pretty challenging at times, but unbelievably gratifying when you finally figure out a puzzle youd been stuck on for a while. Also easy to turn off when a client shows up or you gotta get back to work.

Hours of challenging and fun! We will miss the chance to find the solutions to these puzzles. We wish there were more levels.

It took us a while to figure out the system, but after we did, things picked up considerably. We love colors and puzzles, so it hits all our happy spots. The only thing we would like to see is more of a pause after completing a puzzle as sometimes we stumble on the solution. We dont get to analyze what worked before the game moves on to the next challenge and if you go back, the puzzle has reset. The music is okay, though it reminds us of Phaedra for some reason. We like the understated sound effects.

Update: Thank you for the new ones, they're great!! This puzzle game is THE BEST— Challenging, fun, and elegant. MOAR PLEASE!!! All we can say is, MORE PLEASE!!??? Is there more? Is there a 2? Can you make us another.

We have never been so engrossed in a game before. Most puzzles are fun for a few levels but then our interest peters off. This app has us mesmerized and addicted. It is magical! We cant stop and we dont want to. It feels like….like that other person said in a review….it feels like CrossFit for our brain. Sometimes we blow through a bunch of puzzles in a row, but then one will keep us occupied for 20 minutes. We dont need HIMTS like some dumb reviewer said. If you need a hint, click on the EYE, and study which combo of primary colors make which secondary colors. And remember that ALL colors and NONE of the colors BOTH MALE WHITE. If we could give this game 6 stars we would. Someone important needs to discover this game and give some sort of award. Its magnificent.
