What Makes Train Drive ATS Stand Out
I spent more than two years to create this game which enables players to drive a train following signals and based on precise physics culculation while other trains run simultaneously according to timetables.
There are 37 sets of Tobu trains and 7 of others running on lines of some 50 kilomters.
You are to drive precisely and safe.
The ATS game–
replicates actual operations of switch rails, signals and crossing gates.

Hello. We hope the developer of this game sees this, but we would also like others to know. This game was way ahead of its time on its release. The physics engine, maps, stations, and trains are so ahead of its time. This game was released back in 2012, and we remember playing it as a kid who just liked trains. Out of all of them, this was by far our favorite. We remembered the name all through these years and just now decided to get the full version. So nostalgic, and genuinely fun for the right audience.
We really think this game is fantastic! It has so many engaging elements that make it enjoyable to play. However, we're quite surprised that it isn't updated more frequently. It feels like there is so much potential for new features and improvements. We wonder when we might expect to see some updates or perhaps even a fourth version of the game? It would be exciting to see what new content could be added.
So Ive played this game for over 6 years now (when the lite version was still available) and we were fascinated by the graphics of the game. It made it look like a special train game on the App Store. But there were 2 problems when we played the full version. 1 When a new update came, we would sometimes lose access to the trains in this and 2, which would result in deleting the app and replaying the scenarios in order to have access to them again. 2 The map and sound effects seem to glitch often, at least for someone using an iPhone 8 like us. Please fix this ASAP if you can. Other than those problems, we enjoyed playing this game, as well as Train Drive ATS 2 & 3. But if theres one thing Id ask for, more stations/lines for this game and 2 and a 4th game. Thank you ;).
The whole ATS series is great! Hoping for a 4 or new additions to the current ones.
It is like your standing in front of a train so we give it a 5 star.

We ourselves am a transit fan based out of NYC, and this game is fun for those who wants to operate a train in this case a subway train. Time killer too when traveling from Point A to point B. Though we wish there was a way to choose your line and train and if they could add more routes instead of choosing between a local up to a rapid express time schedule. But hey, we can't be picky anyways for those looking to download this game, we recommend it.
This is a good app. Realistic and fun. We bought the two new scenarios but they do not com up in menu. Very disappointed! No real support either. A blemish on the developer.

We may be American, and at first not understand, but now it's the #1 train driving game we have ever found! For more than 2 years of work, it has turned out to be the best game ever made! Also, we wish that there were track numbers for all of the new stopping points that were added in Version 4, like on the Bushu-Fujiwara Line. There are certain things about train automation that we like and dislike in this game: 1: we like that there are communications that will display how far away the train is from a stopping point. 2: we like that all of the sections of track on the railway have assigned speed limits that communicate with the trains to display the speed limit for the train. 3: we like that the AUTO function is available. 4: we don't like when the automation thinks that a train is over-speeding, because the automatic B7 or EB enables. It makes us feel like we have failed. As long as the automation tells us the speed limit, we will be able to drive better. Also, if we don't stop the train before it makes contact with a deadhead on a track, it should not activate an auto EB, but it should end the scenario if we drive over the end of a train track. Also, if we do not slow down a train when the speed limit changes to a lower amount, or, if we're speeding, it should end the scenario if we are over the speed limit for 10 seconds. 5: Having only 4 meters of stopping area at the stopping points seems very small. We wish that it was 6 meters of available stopping area for every stopping point. When a train is 6 cars long, the front or back of the train is not passed the front or back of the station platform if the train overshoots or undershoots the stopping point on a 6 car long train platform. To make the train driving experience more realistic, we wish that the following things were adjustable: 1: we wish that you were able to adjust what appears on the information panel at the top of the screen. 2: we wish that you were able to adjust what appears on the panel at the bottom of the screen. 3: we wish that you were able to adjust what appears in the list of buttons that has the MENU button in it. We understand that trying to change all of this to be this way will take a lot more work, but if all of these changes were to be applied to this game, it would make it so much better.
This is the best and most realistic train simulator for the IPad and iPhone ….. We would love to see u guys do a New York City MTA SIMULATOR.
Great straight forward train simulator. No gimmicks, no games, no in app purchases. Just driving trains and it great.
Love the game! We would love to see the view from outside the train, more stations, longer trains (cars), ability to maybe choose a train out of service, or storage yard, ability to open doors….love the game though.

We love this game, we're in to many types of simulator and this one is one of the top in our list, hope the dev keeps expanding on it (or creates new versions) please always improve.
Very good app. If this was ever ported to PC, we would definitely buy it. We would recommend adding a joke feature though: Add a dead man brake. In real life, if the engineer doesn't disarm the dead man brake system every so often, the train will automatically stop. Just a fun little thing we'd like to see. Maybe annoy our friends as the alarm goes off to disarm the system ouo.
We like this game a lot. But something needs to change. We need 4 tracks to run for 16.5 km to run to Shin-Hanyu. 2 tracks can be for local. The maximum speed for the local tracks can be 105km. Now for the other 2. These can be for the high speed tracks. The maximum speed is 160km. Put the CLE= Commuter Limited Express, Express, Rapid Express and Semi Express. Make the stations the same. Put new trains Please. Make sidings on the main line. Rescue trains are allowed. A new Train Yard for storage. Then for the 8.9 km line from Tosai-Dobustu-Koen to Yorii Machi, Make another track, make it longer and put 4 stations. Maximum speed is 110km. We hope this upgrade comes. Pau.
Wouldn't it be cool if there was weather in this game yes weather a realistic game like this should have weather like rain and thunder storms.
This simulator is well developed and enjoyable. We spend a lot of time playing this game. The developer has paid attention to detail and it shows. We would like more routes and scenarios. Would like exterior view of driving train and enhance the graphics over time.
In reality your speed restrictions would not randomly change (at least not in U.S.) without a track signal. You would not be able to pull up to the back of another train. The block would be restricted. Otherwise, fantastic game. Hoping for an update with new lines.
We like this app, and we would like to play all 24 hours, and not just the morning, like have it day/night cycle and weather patterns, but otherwise it's a good app, but how ever there a bug at 10:40 that stops all the trains from moving most noticeable at himlyshi, to get around it you have to start a new game at 11:00.
This is an amazing app. We spend a countless amount of hours playing with it. However, we'd like to see a lot more sections where there are four tracks available, similar to the Itabashichou station, so that the Express trains does not have to be delayed if a local train is in front of it. We would also like the option to drive a train down a different line or select our own destination, other than the Tosai line, perhaps being able to drive past Yori-Machi or Asakusa-Motomachi. We would also like to see the train doors really open and close. Otherwise, this app is awesome.
We think it needs an outside view but its a great app.

The hard work that went into this app is astounding. We love the sound FX too- if you've spent any time in Japan it will bring back memories. Our only issue is the price of the full version- it's a bit high. Regardless, it's thoughtfully done. Cheers Edit: perhaps an issue with ATS system: if posted speed is met, a new sudden (if drastic) reduction in speed is directed, however the ATS system penalizes you in an unrealistic manner. It is impossible to go from posted speed to new reduced speed in nanoseconds- we believe there should be a few more seconds to avoid penalty. Also, the signals could use more brightness (perhaps lens flare) to make them clearer and more visible. Lastly, how about dawn, sunset or nighttime operation to show off the lighting/signals.
1st get rid of the POINT counter! 2nd get rid of that auto brake system! 3rd get rid of that stoping meter system on train stations, that RED BLUE RED arrows. Then will be great game to enjoy? What's the point system for? Or auto brake? It's taking whole fun out of game.
This game is amazing! But we want more variety in which line we can play, different types of trains, and a more realistic experience.

This is a nice simulation but please give us the ability to turn off ATS. Allow us to skip stops as we please. Turn on a consequences option where if we go too fast, the train derails or if we run a red light, the train goes in to a automatic stop. In other words, make it more realistic.
We feel a lot could be added though and the texture quality was awfully dumbed down in the latest update it seems.
This is a dumb game you have to do what it says or the game ends. And it's in Japanese and not English.
We tried this game and it was so annoying and boring that we want our eight dollars back and why we're rating it one star.
This app is good just not for 9 dollars. You cant understand announcents DONT BUY.
Bad Game, Trainzdriver is cheaper and is a better game. Do not waste your money.

We love this game but it needs to upgrade plz. Plz add some people to be on the platform waiting for the trains. It would be ,much better if it looks realistic. Also adding numbers or letters to the train would be nice example: #4 trains, #1 train etc etc because different trains stop at different stations/locations. Plz upgrade.
Loved the game and we purchased the game which was 8.99 and the game is the same as the lite version.
We loved flying view, but then in the last update, it went away. Also, more lines would be awesome, other than that a great game. Also, what happened to the 8 car train? Great game.
We love this game personally. We think you should add (New York, London, Germany, and Italy). We can guarantee that this app will get 100% more buyers. We think in Future updates maybe u can add more realism like passengers and you control the doors that open. We really love this game and keep up the good work.
We were looking for app like GoDensha for iOS for long time. Keep it up. Concentrate on Japanese routes first. Looking forward to seeing more routes like in Tokyo routes, Subway, or even Shinkansen routes.

Best train simulator in the App Store. It comes with pre planned routes or free drive. We wish there was a bullet train version but this will do. The only caveat we ran into is a signal issue on one of the routes (4019; 6th station) that comes to a standstill where head on train is waiting to access the platform that we're unable to vacate with a red signal.
We just downloaded the full version and there are only 4 other scenarios, all of which start anywhere from 1000m to 50m away from the end of each scenario. Please update this glitch. Presently soo not worth $8.99.
Great game. Just need to make the controls on iPad screen bigger.
