What Makes Kingdom Two Crowns Stand Out

A shroud of mystery envelops these uncharted medieval lands where ancient monuments, relics and mythical creatures await. Echoes of bygone eras speak of past greatness and in Kingdom Two Crowns, part of the award-winning franchise Kingdom, you embark on an adventure as the Monarch. In this side-scrolling journey atop your steed, you recruit loyal subjects, build your Kingdom and protect your crown from the Greed, monstrous creatures looking to steal your Kingdom's treasures.

BUILD
Lay the foundation of a mighty Kingdom with towering walls, protecting towers while cultivating prosperity through building farms and recruiting villagers. In Kingdom Two Crowns expanding and growing your Kingdom grants access to new units and technologies.

EXPLORE
Venture into the unknown beyond the protection of your borders, through secluded forests and ancient ruins to seek treasures and hidden knowledge to aid your quest. Who knows what legendary artifacts or mythological beings you will find.

DEFEND
As the night falls, shadows come to life and the monstrous Greed assault your kingdom. Rally your troops, muster your courage, and steel yourself, for each night will demand ever-growing feats of tactical mastermind. Deploy archers, knights, siege weapons, and even newfound Monarch abilities and artifacts to hold against the waves of Greed.

CONQUER
As the Monarch, lead assaults against the source of the Greed to secure your islands. Send your groups of soldiers to clash with the enemy. A word of caution: make sure your troops are prepared and sufficient in numbers, as the Greed will not go down without a fight.

Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

Aztecs would be a great addition to this beautiful game.

Little buggy on phone, we bought this game on steam and its peaceful and relaxing, most of the negative comments are people who actually dont know how to play the game expecting something fast paced and more to do, its a resource management what did u expect. Its fun, just make sure to eat grass or your horse will run out of stamina fast. Good game, good luck fellow monarchs.

Havent had any issues so far playing Olympus DLC super fun.

Ive always loved the Kingdom franchise and own the game on multiple platforms. However, there is a big problem. Ive been playing this game in coop mode on iPad using two DualSense controllers for a few weeks now, and Ive experienced several significant glitches that have resulted in an extremely frustrating experience. First of all, when we connect the two controllers to our device via bluetooth, the game recognizes the first controller we use to control the menu as the primary controller and the second controller wouldnt work at all, forcing us to make our device forget the second controller and reconnect it in order for it to work properly. Secondly, every time we travel to a new island, the second players money pouch appears as empty while having practically infinite capacity. This can be helpful; however, if they pick up a gem or any special item, it will not show visually and it will be a mystery as to whether it was even picked up. Thirdly, the assignment of archers to armies was already a conundrum, but on top of that, the operation of the armies also leaves us scratching our head. There was one case where we defeated the last portal before the cave portal, and we built the bomb in preparation for beating the island; however, there was no army to accompany the bomb (where there should usually be two), instead there was one single army general walking on the river! The last glitch that finally forced us to abandon our coop campaign was when after beating an island, the second player became unable to pay for anything. They could still drop coins, but the little circles that would pop up above things you could pay for, would no longer pop up, essentially halting progress. We tried everything: going to new islands, switching between singles and coop mode, reconnecting controllers, reloading the game. Nothing worked. We figured this problem might be tied to the campaign and sure enough, when we switched to different campaign, everything was fine. Fundamentally, this game is a fantastic game with stunning visuals, intuitive mechanics, and satisfying progression, its just a shame all of that is tainted by the countless glitches and bugs, particularly in coop mode (which we assume is the selling point of Kingdom Two Crowns). We understand that this game has not received an update in a minute but we hope the devs see this message and consider revisiting the game to ensure the coop experience is smoother.

We love the game, we have it on every console of minebut we cant play borderlands on the phone.

No idea why it has large reviews they all must be bots. What a waste of money. The game looks like it has potential but then its just boring from the start and confusing. So firstly your horse runs out of stamina literally in a second and then will just stop so it takes like 20 min to just travel and then you have to walk back its so much walking and your horse just has to stop every second its a joke. Then you have coins to build stuff but then your running and running and no objectives they dont tell you what to do or how to pass anything. We found a boat once then the next part we had no coins and nothing to build. Then we tried another version of the game to see if it was just the two crown but no they are all skins of the same game. No real tutorial the the one they do have is the same with no real info or purpose. Save your 7 dollars.

We LOVE this game. Simple, fun, great replay-ability, new mechanics depending on which mode you play, mounts are unique, cool art, funny references in the background, overall a great game to play on the plane! Just one thing -and Id greatly appreciate any response regarding it- Will there ever be a Online-coop mechanic? Not just split screen? Any response would be greatly appreciated! And again, GREAT GAME.

Why do the swordsmen/leaders of the archers that we send to attack the greed turn away from the portal when theyre attacking? We cant destroy any of the teleporters because of that dang bug.

Our boyfriend and we like this game a lot but randomly Ill turn upside down and its rather nauseating. Locking the device screen doesnt seem to help at all, either. Mind its doing this while were propping it upright.

When we play a game on easy we expect to win with a chill amount of effort. The aggression we see in the second island makes easy feel like it should be normal not easy because of how many enemies there are.

We love this game, but one thing that has always frustrated us is that in order to change the colors of your coat of arms, you have to click a button that randomly selects a color and just hope its the one you want. Its a terrible system and makes designing your coat of arms incredibly tedious. Just let us choose the color from a color wheel, or even a set number of colors, but let us actually CHOOSE. Until its changed, our review will remain at 2 stars.

Call of Olympus is an awesome DLC that evolves the core game and enhances the experience. We like the newly added mechanics such as the additional boats earned at each island, the non linearity and choice of which island to go to, the ability to lead a small army, the weapons of the Greek gods, and the new mounts. The additional boats earned builds momentum throughout the campaign, allowing more of your people to join you as you begin your conquest of each island, makes it easier and faster to establish a foothold on each new island you encounter. The boats also help during your raids which is awesome and adds much needed damage as combat in this game is more engaging than ever with new greed types, bosses, and island mechanics. The non linearity allows you to discover what each island holds on your own and each island holds something valuable so you can prioritize how you want to play. Being able to lead a small army with the flag makes combat more engaging as your positioning affects your troops positioning and allows you to go on quick raids to cover your villagers returning to town or deal damage to the greed portals without having to commit your entire army. Your small army is more agile and more in your control. The weapons of the gods are all powerful and useful in their cases and can be combined with the mounts for some great synergies. The mounts seem more balanced in this version of the game. Im glad that there are enough gems to collect all the mounts. All the mounts and weapons are strong in their own situations which is great gameplay. The island mechanics kept the gameplay interesting and the game ended in a nice boss island and boss fight which took careful planning and maneuvering. Overall an awesome game we would highly recommend.

We love the game since years ago but theres still a bug that the flag wont show out in shogun model, please fix it.

Honestly if ur having trouble with anything in this game its really up to natural selection at this point. Just use your head and this could be one of the most fun games youve ever played in your life tbh, both games are very memorable for a very good reason.

Kingdom Two Crowns: Norse Lands – Call of Olympyc adds an element of Olympic myth to the popular game Kingdom Two Crowns, enriching the atmospheric world with even more captivating content. In this version, players embark on a journey that combines strategy and resource management with classic Olympic mythology. Like in the core game, you must manage your kingdom, defend it from nightly attacks, and expand your territory. However, Call of Olympyc introduces unique buildings and units associated with the gods of Olympus, altering the game mechanics. Gameplay Kingdom Two Crowns: Call of Olympyc combines engaging 2D pixel art with an atmospheric soundtrack, immersing players in a world where each day brings new challenges. Players can utilize divine powers, adding unique capabilities in both defense and development. For instance, invoking Athena grants additional protection for warriors, while sacrifices to Poseidon enhance marine defenses. New Features and Content The addition of Olympic gods brings a new strategic depth. Each god offers different advantages, and the choice of whom to call upon impacts the players tactics. Unique buildings and upgrades encourage a fresh approach to gameplay, creating possibilities for deeper strategy and creative solutions. Pros and Cons Pros: New atmosphere with an Olympic twist. Unique divine abilities that add strategic variety. Expands familiar game mechanics. Cons: Can be challenging for newcomers. Some gods may seem less beneficial, limiting tactical diversity. Conclusion Kingdom Two Crowns: Call of Olympyc is an excellent addition to an already successful game, introducing a new mythological dimension and offering a fresh experience. This pack will likely appeal to both fans of the series and those seeking an interesting strategy game with a unique atmosphere.

So recently just finished the new Olympus dlc. But after the credits our boat/ship was gone, now Im stuck at the last island and we cant go nowhere. Not sure if this is a glitch. Overall we love this game to pass the time. Great job guys. Please add more content to this game and the kingdom 80.

This and all the DLCs are more than worth it. Our wife and we have played hundreds of hours same screen co-op using wireless gamepads. (PS4 and PS5) Every run is a little different. The soundtrack by Amos Roddy is beautiful. The game is fun solo too. Try to figure things out on your own before looking it up. Thanks to the dev team for soooo many memories.

We love this game. We own it on Steam, Switch, and now our phone lol.

PLEASE ADD MUTI PLAYER PLEASE PLEASE.

Everytime we try to load into the new dlc it just sends us back to our Home Screen causing a infinite loading screen glitch, would appreciate if they fix this been wanting to play it.

We would have liked to be able to reroll our heirs appearance, but aside from that, the only other improvement we can think of is some direction on the challenge islands. The game is very fun, the different difficulties are great for learning how to play, and this is a great game.

Although we love this game and bought the new DLC as soon as it released some bugs need to be addressed. When we tried to overwrite the very first slot with the new dlc and started playing the game turned out that the new game has every upgrades from the previous saves which was about a year old, town hall and walls are maxed out and recruited builders are walking around the city. The second bug came to be when we tried starting the game on the second slot it actually loaded properly but whenever we picked up the coins the coin texture started floating above the horse near the saddle.

We love the game, dont get us wrong. The controls are simple and the concept is easy, but theres so many things wrong with the game. 1. Our squires wont recruit free archers 2. Archers wont go in their towers 3. We had a whole game almost completely reset every time we died so we would lose all our progress and not be able to rebuild and repair Theres also an issue in which if you destroy all the homeless camps then you cant get new people so you can get trapped on the first island after death and not be able to do anything.

This is a great game. The split screen doesnt really work out for us though. If you could play co-op on 2 devices it would be 5 stars.

Ive been playing kingdom for two years now and we love it, we just wish there was more things to do. But since we updated the game It wouldnt let us make new knights anymore. We tried saving and restarting the game but it still wont let us make them.

[27 April 2021] Started a Dead Lands game. Reached a point where something odd happened. While on island two, the greed attacked during the daytime. After that, we can no longer send out our squires. Without the squires feature, no victory is possible. We left island two and went to island one. The squire feature now works ok. [end 27 April].

Great game. Really! Great. Game. But… Where are the post-release updates with new themes that were promised? The game has been out for a year now and weve gotten nothing. Im not looking for a freebie, Id happily pay for a new theme or expansion. Come on, guys. Dont promise something if youre not going to come through.

We love this new co-op option for the game as we love playing it! We just wish the co-op could be online instead of using the same device.

We cant find any gems! We also cant upgrade our walls or anything without what looks like stone above them, Maybe we have to survive the full moon but we dont know where to find any gems and we dont know how to upgrade our walls and buildings, Can you explain to us how to do both of those? Other than that we love this game.

This is a great game but Ive had to do a few restarts as Ive lost islands due to glitches or the game not communicating whats going on. Many times Ive marked trees to be cut down and they stay up making it difficult to progress our boundaries further. Archers have decided to leave one side entirely and let the greed kings constantly attack. Archers have ignored posts entirely. Builders AI is ridiculous as sometimes some will run from across the map when another could do the job. We know the game is going for minimalism but we dont understand why their cant be ways to control units to go to certain sides or force them to work on specific structures. Also an indicator for how many units you have would be helpful. Having to run back and forth to see if you have enough units its just too time consuming when youre forced to make large bases because the farm locations are so far away. It would be great if you could cancel things as there are times we didnt want to upgrade or build something but mis-tapped or was trying to do something else. Overall great concept but the execution has been pretty poor. Ive played the original on iOS before and we dont remember it having as many issues but it also had less to do.

There is only one thing that is wrong with this game. For us that is. Please fix it to where the apple keyboard and other keyboards work with this game. It doesnt let you sprint and when we walk around, our horse just sometimes stops. This is still a real game.

Kingdom two crowns is a very fun game we like the concept of building a kingdom and defending it from the greed or the purple things. We wish though they would add new or more stuff other then that though this game is really fun and we hope it gets more updates.

Okay so to get straight to the point we had ONE ERROR that happened to us and its not that big of a deal, but sometimes when we would gather up gold coins and try to purchase something or use those coins for an upgrade, not all the coins would be visible it would just be invisible, but still allow us to do what and have what we paid for with the gold coins. PROS: -Love the graphics -MULTIPLE MODES LIKE YESSS MAAM -our character is just chefs kiss and also our companion animal IS A BIRD LIKE HSJSAOWHBRGE okay that is just super coolbeans -THIS GAME HAS MULTIPLAYER LIKE THTA IS JUST INCREDIBLE -Overall we like the game, but if we had to change ONE THING it would be to allow any ports or ships that we build to stay and last on an island that we leave so that we can come back to it whenever we need too. We get that it makes the game more challenging and difficult, but yeah Anyway thank you to all the developers of this game for EXISTING!!!! LIKE YOU INCREDIBLE PEOPLE ARE SO CREATIVE AND SO INCREDIBLE THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS GAME DHAKASJDVDB thank you :))))) Stay safe guys and have a great day.

We love the art of this game and everything about it. This game is very amazing how you defend, build , expand your home/ village, we cant wait for the next update If ya want here is some suggestion? Horse: Maybe you can upgrade your horse speed, if your horse get hit it can get hurt, Or you can attack the enemy from the horse and you can feed the horse to regain stamina? The bow and arrow men?: you can upgrade there bow to make it more accurate and do more damage.

Great game. Are there ever going to be new challenges or new maps.

We love this whole series and even love this game. But the controls are frustrating. When you hold down left/right, your character goes those directions. If you hold down, your character buys things with coins. Now imagine this on a touchscreen where you can easily try to send your character left/right but just slightly swiping down without even knowing it. As a result, your character buys something you dont want. This has ended more than one of our games in disaster. That can be really frustrating. Fighting the enemy is one thing. Fighting the controls makes this mostly playable. If you have a different console or PC, Id recommend playing on one of those. If this is your only option, be prepared for some frustration.

Love the game, but would love it even better, with a true co-op experience.

We have been a fan of the kingdom games sense the original, its a perfect RTS game for those who love a mix of money management, defense, and expanding. But there is one thing that bugs us in two crowns, its the knights. In kingdom new lands we noticed that when ever a wall is about to break your knights should begin falling back to the next wall before the greed would break through. But in two crowns we noticed that knights/squires no long do that, we always saw that this little fall back is a good way to have players see the difference between hunters and soldiers. With out that fall back we just see soldiers as hunters that dont give you money making them almost useless besides for the fact of clearing portals. Seeing how this fall back mechanic is already a thing in new lands would it be to hard to to add it to two crowns? Maybe you could replace the knight statute buff with the fall back? Anyway we hope you guys add the fall back to two crowns soon, this has been our ted talk.

We love this game. It might be one of the best examples of game design where the mobile platform actually feels ideal and it doesnt feel like a dumbed down version of something else. Kingdom Two Crowns is somehow both relaxing and terrifying. The music and ambience beautiful world are inviting and immersive but the stress that you may not survive the night is ever present. It satisfies a primal urge to gather resources, fortify your position and outlast the threats that wait outside your walls. It really is a fantastic game and we love playing it.

This game is honestly amazing. It is one of the best designed games Ive ever played. Our favorite aspect is how, despite how simple the game feels, theres a lot of hidden complexity that you discover and learn about in the course of playing. Really makes you feel like youre discovering this world and how it works.

Genuinely a great game Ive been playing for years and look forward to all the new updates that are coming.

Amazing and simple mechanics Audio design 10/10 Music 10/10.

People dislike this game because of difficulty and and everything is up to you to learn, but thats why we like it. Theres a wiki for a reason and difficulty is good, because its more enjoyable than an easy game for some people and makes it such a great time killer.

This game has been great to play in any of the game modes and challenge islands. Ive even shared with our friends and they like it to. The art and music work great together for any game mod plus no two runs are the same so it has plenty of replay ability. We would love to see a Rome or Greek era next. We feel like the devs could do a great job with that type of architecture and stuff of that manor.

Kingdom Two Crowns is a spectacular game, with a beautiful art style, many game modes, multiplayer, and so much to do. We could never get bored of this game, always a super fun challenge. Its definitely worth the money, we have nothing bad to say about the game.

We love this game, we wish there is an option to let us know how many guards/ workers etc we have because the more you expand the kingdom the harder to keep track of them.

Ok starting our review positive well it will positive all the way through but love the game! Best 7 dollars? Ive ever spent on a game besides minecraft and terraria love the concept the game play all the cool features in the game and thats really it theres nothing that we can necessarily say thats bad about the game so um thats it leaving this review here great game! Keep up the great work! Raw Fury.

Since the controls are very minimal, we think screen sharing would be possible to incorporate for 2 friends on FaceTime to play with each other. This game is 5 stars for single player but adding this would also make it 5 stars for Co-Op mode. Thank you Raw Fury for the upcoming Greek DLC update.
