Yeah, this is another time sink game from Kairosoft. Its a fun game that you buy once and dont have to deal with ads or in-app purchases. These are our go to games in flights since they dont require an internet connection to play. Plus, we dont notice that we just spent 2 hours leveling up our little basketball players. Fun game.

One key feature missing is an assist counter. This would be a great addition, allowing players to better track and strategize around their team's passing and playmaking abilities.
One of our favorites from Kairosoft for the genre. Super fun simulator and more immersive than pocket stables in our opinion (also love). You wont regret it.
Please add Spanish language to all games.
Ive played several Kairosoft games. Im really picky and dont like the mechanics in many of them such as having to add buildings or attract customers into an area. We prefer stuff like Game Dev where you make a product and just sell it. This isnt like that and theres still some building and fan collecting involved but we enjoy the process of choosing players and competing way more.
We really like this game! Im a longtime fan of kairosoft and of their sports games, we have played Pocket League, Pocket Stables, Boxing, and Grand Prix Story. This one is probably our favorite! It optimizes a lot of the mechanics with Pocket League and was more engaging than Grand Prix or Pocket Stables, because all of the players are pretty unique and its a lot of fun to get a new one on your side. The level curve is also not bad, we had a lot of trouble with Boxing and eventually stopped playing but not here! All in all great game, fun loop, and one of our favorites.

Real fun. Some of the simulation could be frustrating but it was easy to get over. In fact, it made winning more satisfying haha. If you like basketball and kairosoft games, purchase immediately.
We have loved every Kairosoft game that we have played and this one is no different. However the learning curve on this one was noticeably harder. The amount of stats and positions can seem overwhelming on the first playthrough but once you get it all figured out this is another awesome little simulation/manager game by the team.
Would love to see a sequel one day! <3.
We love this game it was always entertaining to us whenever we played and all that but once we beat it we were like ok we wonder will they update this game and add to it. But its been years now and we were just wondering since we go through the catalog of games and Im seeing some second games for some of the other titles in the series and we wonder will there be a basketball story 2.
Very buggy on the defense. Its super annoying to get pass when you steal the ball from the other team and both the player that stole the ball and the opponent stunned get locked together until another teammate on either team passes by and grabs the ball. Ive lost many games due to this because of free threes that were given to the other team due to this bug.
As much as we enjoy kairosoft, there are moments in their games where its clear just how rigged the game is. No matter how much we buff the player stats and change tactics on the court, it just completely disobeys the player build and focuses on the overall progression of your home court. Im just baffled by how rigged the games are. It just will not let you win some games unless you meet a certain criteria to progress the story forward no matter how high your player stats are. Incredibly disappointing and laughable to see.
Decent game, but not as good as other kairo titles like developer story.
We cant really enjoy this game since this game had horrible landscape view on the iPad. It cut off so many things in landscape mode and in portrait mode it makes the button and words super small.
The Landscape Mode on the iPad Pro doesnt work. It letterboxes the screen and has a giant menu bar on the bottom that blocks 1/5th of the playing area.
This game has been fun for a long time , we always come back and play during basketball season and longer. There is a lot you can do as far build up your team and win Chips. You can play and make the team the way you like and beat out all other teams . Best thing for us is there is no need for internet so you can play anytime and anywhere.
We loved this game and we think a football one should be made too.

Now, this game is a few years old now but we fell in love with the games because we found them on Nintendo switch, and we were browsing the App Store and found they made them for iPhone aswell, so we bought it and we really love sports games, so this game felt right up our alley! We do recommed buying this game because its super fun.

Ive played through the game plenty of times, another amazing game by kairosoft with ease. BUT- ! ! ! We wish the developers could see this message, but if they made a Volleyball game it would be quite popular.
This has officially passed Game Dev stories as best mobile game, because our team, the Scorpion Stingers, has won it all. Go scorps.
The gameplay loop was very nice and innovative, you keep the classic build up your location, while this added so much in depth team management, and tactics. The game is really fun and you have to put a little more thought into things like basketball games tactics, and how you choose to train back at home. This is a really great installment for sure! We can sense the amount of quality and effort put into this. And if you like games like pocket stables, but want a little more control, this is for you! For anyone who doesnt know, in pocket stables you assign a jockey to a horse and have them take the horse to a certain area to train. When its racing time, you can choose what kind of tactic your jockey should take, but besides that, you better pray your horse has high enough stats to win. Personally we love that kind of gameplay and hoping our horse wins is such a rush, but like we said, if you crave more control and tighter gameplay in terms of management, youll love this.
This game is worth the money and Im happy to pay for something with so much replay value. Great game, tons of fun, easy to pick up, hard to put down.
This company really puts the time and effort into giving its community great games.

We absolutely love this Kairosoft game! Its functions are a step above the pocket league story games and it is a great sports management game! We would love the addition of online play added to this game; we would also love for Kairosoft to develop a volleyball management game similar to this game.
It seems like its harder to win in this game compared to their other ones, or maybe Im just bad but the game is still very fun nonetheless. A lot of depth as is all their games. Thank you Kairosoft for your hard work and quality games!! Am loving your games always.
This is the best one thats been made in ages. It has everything the traditional kairosoft fans like ourselves (who have played every single one) enjoy! We are still playing our game past the ending because it is so addictive and theres still much to unlock and do. They have listened to our feed back and made a real gem. Down with freemium gaming and pay to unlock.

We play and have played every single one of this companies releases. Lately Ive been craving something new. Sequels and new polishes are great but Ive actually had ideas and not known how to get them out to the company itself. Thought Id sneak one in here lol. So we thought hey how about a fighting school or dojo game. You could pick styles. Master them. Open school and have students. Learn knew moves, techniques, hand to hand or even weapons. Endless options. Have rival schools/dojos. Compete in tournaments, help village or town grow. Defend it or expand it. We just think anything is possible with that one idea of many we have. Id love to see these characters Ive came to love suit up and throw down. Love to here feedback if kairosoft reads this even though its not much of a review for this game in particular. We do love them all. Thank you for your hard work and your time.
Been waiting on this game for years. Its fun and very similar to the Pocket League Story games. We would give it 5 stars if it was online and you could add friends and have them on your team.
This is probably the best simulation theyve come out for a few years. We wish it was 5 stars but Im having an issue with the letter ranking system. It doesnt showcase well when youre hiring the players. They dont come with the skill set shown by the letter ranking at their position.
Are there any faces that resemble other ethnic groups? Basketball is an extremely diverse sport.
Feel kinda cheated. Ive always loved this developers games but this one seemed to really miss the mark.
We like the games a lot, but they started to randomly crash on startup even after restarting and updating our phone. This happens with all kairosoft games.
Id like to say, this is a great way to pass time, game is exquisite and entertaining, now we would like to see if its possible to have an American Football game, the challenge is in the air Kairosoft, keep it up guys. :).
