Community Insight:
We complete 1-2 games per day. Great questions, constantly updating and keeps us sharp. It has also led to some correct answers on Jeopardy.
Take this with a grain of salt because we are using the paid subscription version currently (although we didnt find the ads as intrusive as we do in some apps). We think this is definitely one of the better trivia games for offer on the platform. The questions are good and challenging, and we love the little informative blurbs that pops up after you answer. We actually feel like Im learning new things, and that is a pretty rare thing in trivia game fare. Our two gripes: we wish they would add a multiplayer mode so we could go head-to-head with our friends. Also Id love a setting to select what categories come up. We dont know anything about sports and we dont care to know more.
We like the app, but unless you are EXTREMELY well versed, in the practical and impractical knowledge, of the imaginable, it can get a little absurd. Good learning tool, for people that have an absolutely nothing to do, but indulge in unlimited variety of common and uncommon knowledge! Its literally, impossible for anyone to be able to answer every question correctly, without reference or help. And be aware that some of the question can be tricky.
Adds freeze the game and you cannot easily get back to your game- very annoying.
We have this game on our phone & like to play when we have to kill a few minutes, but, lately, almost every time we play, an ad comes up that we cant get out of, so we stop & move on to a different game.
Challenging but the ads are disruptive.
Beyond annoying that you cant turn the volume off for the ads that play every two or three questions. Immediately deleted from phone.
This ad is impossible to click off of and locks up the game.
The trivia itself is great, but the ads that appear sporadically literally require you to click them, or at times the x to close them is so small its more difficult to find than the game itself. If you are an advertiser on this game, like Intuit, creator of Quickbooks, know that you are getting falsified results for click data, people are forced to click the ad and therefore become jaded to your brand just to get control of their phone back once this nightmare of an app steals your screen.
before they took out the buttons to control how fast the game progresses. When playing with friends it is a necessity to control progression. The one new feature we love is the explanation of answer. But we had to give it a 2 star rating because we cant play with friends anymore.
We have learned so much from this excellent game. We LOVE how they give you a second or third chance to answer your missed question until you get it right. We recommend this to everyone of all ages, at the same time you are learning new things. This is such a learning tool thank you for allowing learning while enjoying ourselves. K. Smith.
After almost 1,000 quizzes we still love this app. Sometimes when our score isnt very good we take another quiz, concentrate more and usually perform better. Great tool for staying sharp.
Excellent trivia game. Excellent questions and encouraging.
Im learning so much testing and re-testing our knowledge.
Very well rounded. Questions are from a variety of subjects. Challenging but enjoyable.
This game has a nice and simple layout. And, none of the questions have repeated so far. We like how you can go back and reaver the ones you got wrong, its easier to actually learn it that way. The only thing we dont like about this game, is that most stuff is super random! A lot of people like having random information though. We however feel no need to know any of this really. Some stuff is interesting and cool to know, but most of it Ill never use in our life, ever. So its kind of cool to do but it feels like a waste. So now Im looking for another trivia game with slightly more common knowledge, simply because it may come up more in life and conversations. We really hope to find one with as great of a layout and program as your game though.
This is like that dusty old trivial pursuit in your grandmas closet. Rarely a film after the 50s is referenced. All trivia is good trivia but get some new stuff.
We like the game, but Ive encountered some answers that are inaccurate. One question asks which of the choices – blue, red, yellow, or green – is not one of the three primary colors fired by electron guns in a tv set. The answer should be green since green is the only color listed that is not a primary color. Either that, or the question should be reworded. Disappointing to find mistakes like this.
Really good game, way too many ads.
Great questions, but the half time and end of each game now have seemingly interminable ads. Im deleting it.
Keeps the old brain from going stale.
Peak gameplay. Better than Call of Duty.
Questions we had gotten incorrect in one game, immediately come up again in the following game, which is really the best way to learn, vis-a-vis rote, but it wasnt always this way. Years ago, and now still too, wrong answers went into the learn more link, and Im paraphrasing there. But now, the incorrect answers pop right back up within minutes. Thats different. No worries though, we just wont need to exit the game and drill ourselves in each section where we missed questions and drill until there are 0 left, in say, Technology. Just an FYI. Your Quiz is the hardest we know of and our highest score is 8/10. Im 71. #notrump San Diego.
We Love this App …. It is very interesting & informative we like the chatter or response of the app weather you are right or wrong . We will be upgrading our app soon . We can truly recommend it . Check it Out.
This is by far the best trivia game app that we have found. The questions are challenging and span multiple categories without becoming stale. The only reason we give this a 4/5 is because we wish we had the opportunity to read the correct answers after Ive incorrectly answered questions!! Would love if that was added :).
The quality of the trivia isnt bad but isnt great. Question wording is shorter than the average Jeopardy! Answer, and this leads to some ambiguity and some questions which are a bit complex to read. Ive seen questions with multiple answers that were technically correct as worded. Difficulty level is random. Dirty Harrys last name is as easy as knowing streaks in specific LPGA tournaments. The questions usually are questions you could know or puzzle out. We havent seen any according to a survey or according to an article style questions where the answer is something you cant know, bur we have seen some questionable most common type questions with softer answers. We dont like the timer implementation. Theres a reason why Jeopardy! Doesnt turn on the buttons until the question is read. The questions also feel particularly shallow because theres no info about why you were right or wrong. The up and down level gives you something to think about, but it also means to get a higher score you need to start at max level (we think) No (truly) custom UI for iPad. Ads are small, except interstitials which usually can go away quick enough. Its free. Its fine.
Sometimes some words flash, but mpst pf the time, we don't see the right answer. Hpw can we learn.
Id be more inclined to use this app but for some reason every 4 questions, the same dumb ad pops up with some dude who looks like hes FaceTiming us talking about some product. We got so tired of seeing his face up close we deleted the app.
Fun and entertaining but the amount of ad breaks was ridiculous. We had to delete the app after 20 minutes.
Great, difficult questions. Too bad there are too many really long ads.
Why can't we just pay a couple of bucks to get rid of the ads instead of subscribing? Our first ad was for Royal Match (what else??) and we couldn't get out of the ad! There was never an X to click. One Star for the subscription greediness.
Awesome app, challenging, easy to navigate, broad range of topics. Im on lesson 28 no repeating questions.
Really like the variety of categories.
The questions are not too easy but challenging and different from mist other games its a challenge and we like that.
We love when we get a question right, it sounds like Im about to battle pirates.
Please give the option to buy an add free experience.
Not a criticism but an observation, the English language version is inclined towards a UK audience.
They should make it more like QuizUp and allow you to challenge other players.
We love this app. Its great. The trivia is interesting and thoughtful.
Tough enough questions that keep us learning.
Great way to keep your mind sharp.
We love this game. Its like a cup of strong coffee… It keeps your brain awake.
If you tried the other trivia games that ask questions like what does a tree lose in the winterand found them tiring, you will enjoy this game. It has much more challenging questions right from the first level.
Way to many ads. Is there an ad free version? Otherwise, this is the best trivia game out there. Im surprised at how many questions we are getting correct in Sports, Science and Tech.
Decent trivia game, but not really sure why there are so many questions based on Christian religion. Would be 5 stars without that.
We could care less about sports and sports teams, or who won which award in film. We do enjoy the questions on other subjects and find them enjoyable. It would be great if there was an option to deselect a certain subject. Another note is there seems to be weirdly too many bible questions, we are sure there are plenty of other religions to also test about.
Overall fun game but the feedback screen between questions is stupid and unnecessary. Remove that to speed up the game.
This is like playing the original Trivia Pursuit. Its all relative to your wheelhouse.
A good handful of the questions and answers are incorrect or not even spelt correctly. Even the wording for some questions make it difficult to understand.
We dont mind an advertisement now and then, but there are far too many to make the game enjoyable. We wanted to play this to continue learning; that is nearly impossible with all the sudden interruptions by ads.
