CAT QUEST II is a 2D open-world action-RPG set in a fantasy realm of cats and dogs. This feels like a knock off final fantasy, and thats part of why its so great. The combat and the like feels similar to the actual game in a way that its just fun. This game has half the 5 stars it should. And Im heavily considering getting the third game. Keep up the great work.
Our child and we love this game. Its simple enough for children to enjoy while also still keeping a lot of the complexity youd find in other RPGs. On top of that, its a flat price. No subscription is required and you dont need to spend any additional money in order to have the full game experience. We wish more developers made more games like this.
We have been playing this game on our MacBook Air. We know it isnt optimized for it, but it runs great. While it seems like a simple, light-hearted RPG, it is a combat-based game. You basically go from dungeon to dungeon fighting enemies. At higher levels the combat gets challenging. No matter what device you use to play, though, it is much better with a controller. The touch interface isnt great (we tried on our phone as well), but mouse is barely playable. With a controller you have dedicated buttons for spell, attack and rolling, as well as movement.
Ok so you we all know that cat quest is the best but did you know that Cat Quest III is coming out on August 8 2025? Its about like pirates and stuff like looting. Make sure to get Cat Quest III when it comes out Cat Quest fans.
We love how all the npcs have names, and how the story is broken down into even the smallest side quests. We also love how the first and 2nd game match up purrfectly, timeline, and story wise. Cant wait for more!!! (Can we say that everything about this game is cute too?) :3.
Finally was able to pick this up, hopefully Cat Quest 3 makes its way onto iPhones, we would easily shelve out some $. Keep up the great work.
Great game, well designed, and easy to play. Its also an perfect starter game for the kiddos to learn how to play console games with a controller. Looking forward to Cat Quest 3.
But what happened to cat quest 3? We NEED MORE CAT QUESTS! BEST GAME IN THE HISTPURRY OF GAMES.
We had beat the main quest of CQ2 and we have to say, this games should be 30$ for all of its content, side quests, main quests and bonus games such as new game plus and mew game.
The game is awesome but maybe after you beat the game you can do multiplayer.
We have been playing cat quest since we were 4 and we played it with our dad. It brings back us nostalgia of when we were little. Overtime we have concvinced our friends to join this game. Now we still love it to this day. One thing we have always wanted is multiplayer for mobile and multiplayer online. So for example for iPad you would have p1 and p2 same as normal co-op. And finally us and our friend want one line multiplayer so you could play multiplayer with your friends at different houses. We love your game altogether and keep up the best of work. This game is super charming and fun and its not too difficult. One of our favorite games for iOS, and now Im going to play it on our Vision Pro.
When we got it again we thought we lost everything but because of game center we kept our progess.
Mad respect for implementing co-op with Gamepads EVEN ON AN IPHONE.
We think that in drakoths vault, once you beat both rooms, you should need to beat drakoth before you can open the final chest. It would be really cool and we think that you should really add it.
Love both of 1 & 2. Looking forward to 3.
We really wanted to like this game as much as the first one, but alas we cant. Dont get us wrong, its a GOOD game. The graphics arent as good as the first one. Theres much more grinding to this game, even in story mode. The double tap to roll out of danger is its biggest flaw. Why? Because when you have a ranged weapon, like an elemental wand, you accidentally tap too fast and roll instead of attacking. If that could be tweaked somehow, this game would definitely be five stars. Im still enjoying the game.
We love Cat Quest 1 & 2 and have triple dipped buying them on Steam, Switch, and iOS. Our go to platform is switch only because we cant deal with the drag to move controls on iOS. We think these games are great on mobile and really showcase that the App Store does have good games. Unfortunately its hard to recommend because of the weird control scheme. Having controller support is awesome but we dont always carry our controller with us. These are the perfect games to play when out and about in regular life since we dont usually carry our switch with us everywhere we go but we do always have our phone. Please add a regular touchscreen joystick and buttons controls in addition to the drag to move. Having more options is always better. Thank you for making such great games.
Why is it A to interact but you can only advance dialogue with B. You ppl are always so backwards when it comes to controllers. Make the button mapping normal please.
