And difficult puzzles, we needed help on several. It was a long game with a lot of storyline. Haiku games are the best.
This game was a lot of fun. Lots of chapters with tricky puzzles in each one. Had to get help from our partner on a few. Liked the variety of puzzles and the story, too.
We love these types of games. The logic puzzles kept us engaged. We did have to cheat a bit….some were really hard.
We love these games! The story lines are interesting, the puzzles range from easy to challenging. We love that theyre not riddled with ads, and that its still possible to play without spending money. The design is really nice looking, and Detective Grey is a cool character! Haiku Gamed have come a long way from their first mystery puzzle app.
This game plays like a escape game, but it has a plot with cutscenes (hence, Adventure Escape). Many of the puzzles can be solved with ease, but the developers leave enough difficult puzzles for you to try and figure out (the hard puzzles are usually at the end of a chapter). You can find and collect stars to use as currency for answers, but try not to use them unless it is necessary. The best part (of course) is you do not need any WiFi to play this game. Haiku Games craft their apps rather well. No disappointments so far.
We rarely give games a 5-star rating, but this game is so well thought-out, so expansive, and so dang funand ITS FREEthat we had to write this review. If you enjoy point-and-click puzzle-adventure games, this is a must-play. Well done, Haiku.
This gave us many days of entertainment. The story in this adventure escape game was much more in depth than we expected. The only complaint we would have is that it is sometimes very unclear what clue is for what puzzle, and when getting hints it almost always isnt presenting us with information related to what we are working on or is a hint to something we have already done. We would however still highly recommend this game.

AE mysteries keep our brain learning while we get sucked into all these stories. We love it! We feel smarter since we started.

We came across theses games playing another. Finally a game that challenges our mind. Im wondering the last game we played we had 83 stars left which we purchase does it get transferred to another game or do we just lose them cuz that would not be good.
We love Haiku Games. Please keep the games coming. We really love it, and it never gets old. It is so unique from other escape games. We know we already said this, but please keep the games coming.
We always want the figure out a Haiku game. Sometimes we get so frustrated with one (like this one), we'll delete and it. After several months, we'll download it and try again. Other Haiku games, we manage to complete without deleting along the way. These are great games for critical thinking. We wouldn't want the developers to change a thing… Except for gameplay that requires physical functions such as finger tracking or device turning. Now that drives us crazy. We'd rather just use our brain ;).
These games are so original, well thought out and carefully articulated. Not only is the storyline intriguing but the gameplay is marvelous and you never want them to end. And somehow it seems like they dont. When we think they are getting close, there is still so much more story to go and its fun from beginning to end. Totally satisfying. Many props to all who work on the Haiku games. You make um, Ill keep playing them. Thank you for your original ideas, and for being so invested in what you do. It shows.
This is the best mystery/solve/escape game we have played.
Ive played more escape games than we care to admit and this is the best company that makes them! Challenging but not impossible. Good story lines. Fun adventures. Highly recommend.
We were looking for a Christmas game to play when we ran across the Christmas Killer game by Haiku. We played it and we were hooked! Since then we have gotten all 15 Haiku escape games and only have 3 left to play. We cant wait for the developers to make some new games because Im sure Ill be done with these soon. Great job! Your escape games are super fun.
Seriously. Do not pass go, do not collect. $200. Download these games now. They have tons of logic puzzles that will be convoluted enough that theyll make you think, without being over the top. Honestly we just love these games.
We stumbled across Haiku games about a month ago and we have never been more impressed with a mystery gameand its even free! So far, we have played Framed, Xmas Killer, Murder Manor, Starstruck, and Escape Cult and we would probably rank them in that order from best to worst, worst being relative, because we truly enjoyed them all! But this one take the cake! Murder Inn is our new favoritethe story line was excellent and our jaw dropped more than once when new information was revealed. As always with Haiku games, the graphics and storytelling are top-notch and we love that the focus is more on solving puzzles than just hidden objects. Get this gameyoull love it.
Super fun and exciting, there are different puzzles but nothing you havent scene before either. Constantly had us thinking.
Okay so we love this game its one of our favorite.
We have played a few Haiku Games already and love them all. This one was pretty extensive and well done. There were a few clues we missed, but we were able to find the codes with brute force anyway. Lots of plot twists in this game.
Every Haiku game we've played has been beyond stellar. Puzzles aren't too easy/challenging and the graphics are great in comparison to other free Escape games.

Ive been playing Haiku Games for about 3 years already and we could never get enough! This game is so much fun as well as all the other haiku games! Its so suspenseful m! Like a book we cant put down! We highly recommend.
After a few stumbles over the holidays where Haiku released games too quickly, they are back and better than ever with Murder Inn. No bugs, smooth interface, clearly passed QA with flying colors. Moreover, they have really upped the ante with new sophisticated, challenging puzzles, and the storyline remains engaging and well thought out. Haiku has some of the best free games for iOS, and this one can safely be added to that list.
We have downloaded and played all the haiku games adventure escape. They are the perfect balance of challenge and pace. The hint system is just right to keep things moving if you get really stuck but puzzles arent too hard or too easy. Some of them take a while, though. And we are very impressed with the way the developers come up with so many different puzzle ideas in spite of all the games they have out. Good job! Highly recommend for people who like these kind of puzzle escape adventure games.
Fun and challenging games. Sure, some of the puzzles have logic that escapes us, but most are incredibly creative. Great graphics, worth your time. We only wish there was some way to save your progress during a level. If you leave part way through to do something else, you may have to replay the entire level. But kudos to the creators.
We loved this game a lot; it was really thought out and it just had us wanting more after every unlocked clue or secret door. We think the mystery was pretty good as well, so that while youre solving clues youre also guessing who the murderer was. All in all, we really enjoyed this and we hope Haiku Games makes more Murder Manors.

Another fantastic game from Haiku games, which immerses the player in a snowy winter mystery, filled with suspense and intrigue at every turn. All that is needed is a cup of hot chocolate to go along with it. Just as intriguing is how this excellent game is actually getting low-star reviews from some nutcases claiming this game is putting out anti-gun propaganda or was impossible. Maybe if you have the IQ of a doorknob. This game has excellent artwork, a great immersive story, and just challenging enough puzzles. We would like to see what these armchair critics with impossible standards think is a good game, because we havent found anything better than these, and Im an avid game player. Haiku Games, we think its time you start charging for your games, so you can be more selective as to who gets the privilege of playing and rating these games, and you get a more genuine audience who actually is smart enough to spot a good game when they see one.
We love every escape/adventure game from this developer. The story line keeps the game changing and interesting, and the puzzles are unique- not the same old puzzles or games that you find in every other escape game. We were tired of escaping from this room, then that room, when really just the scenery changed. Every game from this developer is fresh, interesting and fun. PLEASE keep making more.
Just hard enough to be fun, but not so hard you gotta be a super genius. The levels arent too long. We needed help a couple times, but we like that you can skip a task with your star things if you have enough of them. Ive downloaded a couple by this developer, and will keep doing so.
As a Pittsburgher and a hockey fan, we wanted to leave a note of our appreciation of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey jersey in the laundry room. We later realized the Just Play sign could also be a nod to the Pens as that is a favorite saying of the coach? Thanks for the great work making enjoyable games.
We actually loved playing this game. The puzzles were challenging without being too hard and we really enjoyed the interaction of the clues. Our main problem with it was that you cant save your progress to where you are. It saves the individual level, but you are back at the beginning of each one. It also saves the fact that youve completed the puzzles, which we did like. But to work through a level almost to the end and not be able to save your progress was very frustrating. All in all, we did love playing it, though.
We really liked it but it had some hard clues to go through but over all it was one of the best murder mystery games Ive ever downloaded.
Some of the puzzles are not solvable without hints, for example, Mountain trail map is badly drawn. A bit disappointing.
Overall a good game. Biggest problem is that it does not save your progress. At least when you have saved a major puzzle, when you come back, it lets you skip for free. If you solve a combination lock, write it down for when you come back to the game.
Many of the clues and games made no sense without help but this game still holds your interest til the end.
Like the varied puzzles on the Haiku games. On some, we have worked off & on for hours because the game doesnt save our progress, which we find frustrating. We had been farther along on a level and used 30 stars to skip one game, only to discover the next time we opened the game to have to restart the whole level yet again, minus the 30 stars AND still had the game to be played that we had previously skipped, before we could move on. We do understand not everybody will like EVERY game, but we do like your varied selection of games. A restart button would be helpful on more games.

The graphics in Haikus games are so vivid and attractive, even on a smaller iPhone. The puzzles are very tricky. Some we can figure ourselves but others we need help on. Rather dark plot on this one.
We like this game. It is very entertaining. We got stuck and didnt have enough stars or money to pay for stars. We wish hints were cheaper. We also say you have a right to have an opinion and if you think it is anti gun then you have a right to say it. We think that review writer that had 5 stars on this game is a petty person who has nothing to do but right dumb reviews and only to be a brown noser. Dont charge money for your games. Enough people go broke on paying for stars.
Awesome games. Graphics and storyline can't be beat. The puzzles are challenging, clever, but not impossible. There seems to be a glitch on the mouse maze, though, so we rated it a 4. Another winner from Haiku.
We have tried this so many ways. Apparently there is a glitch. After downloading 2x still not fixed. Moved on deleted it.
The mini games are fun, the escape puzzle part is too easy.
Its a good game but we couldnt finish cuz it got stuck in a level where it wouldnt let move the flash light. That really sucked. We restarted our phone and everything. Hope they fix it.
