Meet Pushy, a small, friendly character who wants to be in his home. Before he can get there, however, there is a puzzle to solve. You move Pushy step by step and, through trial and error, determine how the different elements of the puzzle operate, and what tasks need to be done. For example, Pushy must move obstacles and dump a red ball into a red hole. After completing all relevant tasks, move Pushy to his home. If you solved everything correctly, you will advance to the next level!

The first few levels can be solved very quickly. However, as new elements are added, you will encounter very demanding puzzles that may take many attempts to figure out. There are more than 200 different built-in levels, with varying degrees of difficulty. The "Genius-Level Pack", a separate set of more than 80 levels available as an in-app purchase, provides even more challenges. Each level must be solved in order to advance to the next one. After only a few levels you'll come to appreciate what Pushy really is: a logic game that is a lot of fun! Each level will create new challenges to your intelligence. In advanced levels, Pushy will be able to move heavy stone blocks out of the way, cleverly bypass electrical spots to get through the sliding doors and free up a path through offices littered with bullets. But, watch out for trap doors and other alarms you may trigger!

There are loads more things to do than in classic sokoban!

March 2025 & replaying after a decade, and we stand by our old review. Quite addictive, even 2nd time around; often must force ourselves to stop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Well designed game that devs keep making better with terrific updates. We bought Pushy almost 2 yrs ago with 100 levels. Since then, devs have updated 18 times, adding levels & new features ea time. Game now has almost double the levels of the 1st release, & all given FREE! Wow! A previous reviewer stuck on level 8 complained of not seeing more levels to play & felt cheated. We've played all levels so know they exist, but next one won't appear until current level solved. Except…with recent update, we now earn a Coin each time level completed & coin can be used to Skip-A-Level. Access feature by tapping icon that's left of the "we" (info) on top R of screen. Also… Devs have a Help section on their website, so try finding solution there before giving up. Most of site is in German, but there IS a section in Eng. (Google can translate the German if needed.) Bottom Line: Great game well worth more than the $0.99 charged.

Easy and fun puzzles that quickly become challenging. Great editor to make your own levels.

We were on level 208 with 200 coins and this AM we have lost everything and am back at level 1 with no coins. What happened.

Our favorite app on our iPhone!!! Much better than any of the Sokoban games we have played. If you like Boxed In, Cut the Rope, geared, etc you will love this game.

Great app! Some levels are simple…others make you want to pull your hair out! If you are looking for a great puzzle app you HAVE to get this.

Spent the whopping $0.99 after a few levels of the free version (thank you to author for providing demo). We are hooked!! We love that you can drag Pushy at lightening speed, instead of walk walk walk when you don't need to be so careful. And, you can still tap to go one step at a time (use setting "drag"). We also love that if we get stuck on a level, we can spend a coin to skip it. Yea! We hate getting really stuck for hours/days/forever. We like the different items that require new strategies, too. And it looks like you can sync so that different iDevices have the same completed levels. Dislikes? Our time will be sucked away by this new obsession! Argh. Oh well, no one wants to write a thesis anyway.

Love it! We can't wait for more levels to be added. We're not a fan of the games in which you have to race against a clock. With Pushy you can take your time to solve each level — and add your own challenges when replaying levels. For example, try solving a level by limiting the number of squares Pushy uses. We're so addicted that we have to invent new plays until the next levels come out. Viel mehr, bitte.

If you like logic puzzle games you'll love Pushy. It's like Boxed In 2, a game that we could not stop playing. But Pushy has a lot more variety in the tasks required to complete which makes it really interesting, entertaining, and very addicting. We have a serious spinal injury. Pushy brightens our day, keeps our mind sharp, and provides great eye/hand coordination practice. Besides its a blast to play.

We love Pushy! It's similar to Boxed In, meaning it's the same type of "escape" game but with interesting twists and fun and happily annoying traps to get around in order to advance. Some puzzles are harder than others, some seem impossible, but that's the fun– they are all solvable and make you think outside the box. Addictive and fun.

The most addictive game ever. The character is very cute, and the starting songs are brilliant. It worths every cent :).

It's a great puzzle game with lots of personality.

If you like sokoban, you'll love pushy – it has more variey, a great UI, and a huge number of well-designed levels.kudos.

This is one of the best games that makes you use your brain. We wish that they had more levels or a Pushy 2! It's well worth the money. Every level is different unlike some games that get repetitive the farther along you play. Everytime we say just one more try, it turns into us saying it again & again. We Love This Game.

This is a great game. One of the best. It beats Boxed In (1 and 2), but it was close. Every level is solveable! We recommend this game. We liked the fact that the makers of this game keep doing level updates. We played when it only had 125 levels. This app is great! Update: ever since this last update, it has gotten better. Our only wish is to be able to download levels from other users. Great game still. Update 2: iPad support! Yes! And we can put the defeated levels on our iPad so we don't have to do them all over. We still would like level sharing.

Months of challenge and fun, some levels took weeks to solve. Highly recommend.

If you enjoy puzzle/logic type games, this has it all. More challenging than boxed in, with a variety of tasks that often weave together. Plus the developers are always adding levels – we just finished level 178.

Our kid completed the 14 or so levels of the free version and loved it. So we decided to purchase the upgrade which was supposed to have over 150 puzzles, but we're stuck on this seemingly impossible level 8 and there doesn't appear to be additional levels. What happened? Was we just suckered into actually buying? Shame on you.

We like the sticky song, and the funny noises Pushy makes when wrong. Worth the money.

After completing Boxed In 1 and 2, we found Pushy on the advice of a Boxed In reviewer. Pushy is terrific and we are really surprised it's not more popular. But we are seriously stuck on Level 90 and NEED HELP!!!! Anyone????!! UPDATE: we did it! Finally! We're now on level 125 and we're sad that it's almost over.

We enjoy this game very much! We are at level 94 and we wish they won't end any time soon. We don't understand why some people complain about no support in English. We guess they are frustrated because you can only find the solutions to the game in German, on a German forum. What's the point of purchasing this game so you can cheat looking for online solutions? Also there is an "undo move" option so we don't understand why people complain. It's like they need to pick on something no matter what. Also, for one of the reviewers here: if somebody doesn't speak English, it doesn't mean they are from another planet. Just in case you didn't know, there are other languages on this planet and people speaking them do very well out there. Most of them speak English, if you can't speak their language is your problem! Anyway, we recommend for getting this game. It is totally worth it.

Pushingly, perfect, addictive challenge!!! We were laughing at how simple certain levels were, once we stopped doing the same thing over and over and getting nowhere. Smarty pants Pushy! Thanks for this mental challenge.

This is by far the best app we have downloaded. The only disappointing thing is we have completed all 150 levels. However, we could start over and it would still be challenging.

This is our all time favorite app of all time! Even though we've solved every level, we find ourselves playing it over and over again. The puzzles are challenging at times and pushy is absolutely adorable! We totally advise getting this app.

Any of you remember the Windows game Chip's Challenge? We first played this on Windows 3.1 and was hooked! This reminds us so much of that!! Would love to see Chip for the iPhone someday but Pushy is so cute!!! Get it now.

It's very addicting and a great way to pass the time. Please add more levels.

So addicting we loved it all 130 levels we need more.

This is a really fun and addicting app, definitely worth the $1 and we'd pay even more. Every level is solvable but often we find ourselves coming across a level when we spend hours on it thinking there is no way this level can be beat.. But then of course we beat it. We're currently on level 90 which is so freaking hard, we've been on this level for two days now (longest time we've spent on any level) but to sum things up, we recommend this app to anyone who loves puzzles and problem solving games.

PUSHY is awesome! A challenging and entertaining puzzle game which bests Boxed In in every respect (well, not every: undo is missing sometimes…). Highly recommended.

This game is great, if you liked "boxed in" you will like this one. Should have an undo. The support forum is in german, but if you have the google toolbar use the translate button, and then you can read the help solutions for puzzles you are stuck on. Good game.

Some levels are really easy, other levels really put your mind to work. We haven't needed any support yet but we're hoping if we ever do, that it will be in English. We also agree that it would be nice if it had an "undo" option, especially when you're using the swipe mode. The controls for that are very sensitive and it's easy to accidentally make a move that you didn't mean to. Starting a longer level over again can be a bit frustrating. This game is still one of our favorites.

We agree about web support being from another planet. Love the game though. Really need help on level 90 please! We've been stuck on it forever and can't find a walkthrough anywhere.

We LOVE Pushy since it requires lots of analysis and problem solving. It can be very addictive! It is a great way to pass time while traveling. The game works very smoothly, and the freeform structure of it makes it challenging and fun to solve.

We like this game a lot. But please make it so it saves your game when you exit.

Love playing this gane, which is challenging and thoroughly enjoyable. The only thing we would want is an undo (as others have mentioned) as it extremely frustrating to get almost to the end of a level and making a mistake (which can quickly happen) forces you all the way back to the beginning… Otherwise, graphics are good, the sound is excellent and the overall feel is very professional.

Pushy is a pleasant puzzle game, somewhat in the style of Sokoban but with a variety of inventive twists. If you enjoyed Boxed In (another App Store gem), you should enjoy Pushy. That being said, the lack of an Undo feature in the game is a bit of an annoyance, as one inadvertent wrong move can necessitate restarting an entire level. It might also be nice to have the option of moving Pushy by swiping in the direction you wish to move rather than tapping the screen in front of him (which requires even more precision on the very edges of the playing field). Nonetheless, overall, this is a worthwhile puzzler, at a bargain price.

Game is fun and gets more difficult as levels progress but there is no support unless you speak German. Also there is no explaination in game so your on your own figuring out what needs to be accomplished as you play each level. Game is 4 but support is.

The idea of the game is great and fun, however the web support is bad, if u read in English. We can't get pass level 20, maybe if they gave at least a better description of the hurdles. Also there is no undo, people do make a wrong move at times (iPhone r small). Design of the game is 5, support is -1, help is -2.
