What Makes Sudoku Tablet Stand Out
Sudoku Tablet is especially designed for the iPad and offers different Sudoku puzzles. It provides a great user experience by combining the overwhelming display size with an intuitive handling.
Play four different Sudoku types or play your favorite sudoku from the newspaper. Tap on the menu button to choose a new Sudoku. Double tap on a field to fill in your own pencil marks or let Sudoku Tablet automatically create the pencil marks for you. Use the hint system to get an advice once you're stuck.

Improved way to set predefined numbers in newspaper mode.
Simply select a number on the number pad and tap all cells in the Sudoku where you want to set the number. To remove a number deselect the number in the number pad and tap on the number in the Sudoku.

We enjoy the many ways this game can be played. We are not sure what other reviewers had reason to be so negative, tho we do notice most are more than a year old.
Different levels are available starting easy to tough. 4 different types.
Wonderful app. We like the following. One, we can choose which sudoku game to play. Two, it gives us the option to choose between a dark or light design.
Great app. We like the options to select the level of difficulty and color the wrong numbers red.
We are a freeloader so we do not have a real right to complain. But we have been using the app for many years and the new interface when in newspaper mode cannot seem to be turned off. Being forced to pick a number in the pad, then tapping it in the grid, forcing us to turn off the number selected in the pad to change to the next number is a terribly inefficient and non-intuitive design. We are not pleased. We hope we can restore to an earlier version. The prior version we would rate a solid 4 plus.
Excellent App. Want to be able to find a version for our iPhone, tough. Is there a version of this App for the phone.
The new update is has addressed our complaints. In fact it is now better.

Thanks for allowing the darker background again, much easer on the eyes, once again a wonderful 5 star game.
This is our favorite app on our iPad, the only problem is that with the 14.2 u[date the app crashes every time that we try to start it.
Without highlighting, this is just another clone. It has a nice clean interface, but lacks features to make it competitive. So many better puzzles out there.
Now can't delete saved puzzles, only save additional ones! Horrible situation! Please fix this ASAP. Happened with new version allowing light dark option.
What happened to the edit/delete tool for saved puzzles? Now must just continually add? Pretty ugly.
We love the game but hate the new look. Everything is too light to be noticed. The old look was much better to differentiate the status of the cells and their content. Update: thank you for bringing back the readability of the game.
Why did you mess with a good thing? Even now that the numbers are bolder, it was much better before, too much bright white. Still works, we love being able to enter our newspaper puzzle.
The UI is a huge step back. Unreadable and too bright. Please allow the option to change colours or revert UI to what it was. From 5 to 2 stars.
The new update is very hard on our eyes and we hate it. We played this game all the time and loved it but now its not something we will play very often. Please bring back the original which was much easier to work with.
This update ruined our favorite game app. Update destroys readability. What were they thinking.
We wish there were some way to return to the former version. The contrast is too high for us to enjoy using this app now. Also, the lack of color makes it more difficult to read. We have enjoyed this app for years, but will now be deleting it due to the changes.

PLEASE return to the previous look. The new stark white background and thin black font and grid are unreadable.
The new UI, makes the app harder to use. The fonts are too thin to easily read. Bring back the old UI or increase the font thickness.
The new interface has very little contrast, so it's very difficult to see the numbers.
This redesign puts the number pad on top of important cells. It must be moved multiple times during play. The font is too light. Please reconsider this update.
Would be nice to scan a puzzle with our iPhone or iPad instead of adding the puzzle manually Maybe there will be an update coming.
Contuous updating adds games and makes improvements.
That there are some variations on the original soukous that are entertaining is one of the best things about this app. We had a little difficulty figuring out how to enter possibilities and how to dismiss numbers that we decided were incorrect. All it takes is a double tap on the square. Options available mean we can set it up to meet our expectations. We're buying the option.
This new free version doesn't work in the portrait orientation and the number pad vanishes at times. The previous version was much better. Are these issues corrected in the paid version.
We have loved this game for years, but with no updates it is now showing some quirkiness. None of the settings are "sticking", that is, they revert to OFF when we try to turn them ON. Time for a new Sudoku game or perhaps we can hope this app will be updated.
IOS 10 has effectively killed this app. Simply doesn't run properly any longer. Deleted and found a better version from another developer.
We want to put in our own notes and it wont let us. Also cannot figure out how to get out of notes mode to enter solution. Not user friendly which is too bad bc puzzles look fun.
This is the best sudoku on the app store. We with their Samurai sudoku insane was a little more challenging however. There have been ones printed in the Washington post as 4/5 difficulty that stumped us, but we can breeze through insane.
Hate it. Used to love it, but then the ads were put in and now it just ticks us off. What used to be relaxing is now aggravating and not worth our time! How can we concentrate when there is a flashing bar at the bottom of our screen?!? And im sorry, im not spending money to get the quality of game we USED to have for free.
Beautiful, clean design. Intuitive play; everything you need is there and easy to use. Our wife's an enthusiastic Sudoku player, but only on paper – she never warmed to any electronic versions of the game. We have to fight her for the iPad now.
It is actually free and you can pencil in the numbers yourself. Simply double tap a square. There are a few nuances in this great app but if you like Sudoku you will love it. We especially like the ability to take a newspaper or magazine puzzle and put it on our iPad. Awesome feature. You can even experiment and create your own! We liked The Daily's Sudoku app a lot – maybe a bit better, for the highlighting and way to pencil, but this app is really cool.
We had an initial problem with downloading but Wolfgang helped us through it and it's a great app.

The free version was great. Loved the samurai at the insane level. Do-able but fun. We upgraded to the full version for 2.99 and there is no number pad so the app is useless. DO NOT BUY THE UPGRADE. How do we get our money back.
Upgrading our rating to five stars. We originally complained about not being able to cancel puzzle generation when it seemed to hang. The latest update addressed that issue… Many thanks to the developer! We have no ideas why others have issues with the app crashing… Other than it sometimes taking longer than usual to create a new puzzle, it works flawlessly for us.
It's okay, rather plain and the games aren't that hard even on insane level, but it works.
We really liked this game until the update. It crashes and the number pad disappears. We tried turning the ipad around like the suggestion said(but really how lame is that)? But the number pad didn't reappear. Also what is up with the clock? Can't we turn it off? Pleas fix this game so we can go back to playing the way it was before the newest update.
We used to love this app. Just updated to 2.0 and our number pad to insert numbers is now gone on all games. We have the paid version and iPad 4.+. Please fix this quickly as the app is now unusable.
We really ejoyed this app but the latest "fix" made it unusable. It crashes every time we try to open it.
We too had this app for several months and really enjoyed it. With the latest "bug fix" and update, the program no longer works at all – it just crashes EVERY time we try to open it. Buy something else until/unless the creator decides to fix it.
Does anyone know when Neuroshima Hex is going to be posted to the app store.
The various puzzles keep your interest. Liked the double sudoku puzzle. Thought it would be difficult, but it was easier than we thought.
Why pay for sudoku? This one is good and free.
This is a fantastic app but it's crashes every time we are about to finish a puzzle. We're sure the creator will fix the problem. We love how you can do many puzzles it's great.
