Original review: we played this a long time ago and returned after many years because its the cutest memorable game. Bake all day, collect decorations, cooking appliances, make money, decorate your bakery, help friends. It is a simple game and yet so adorable! It really needs an essential feature: Gifting takes more time than playing the entire game. The gifts need a sorting or search filter. Hundreds of clicks to sort through gifts is not ok. And a checkbox Select All for choosing friends to gift will alleviate this part further. This game is worth the updates.
Will be nice if we have more challenges.
Whoever took over this game and gave it the new updates like being able to search for a gift and selecting all neighbors, even the daily Christmas goals, IM GONNA KISS YOU RIGHT NOW.
Love the game, we have been a long time player but this Xmas goal was super long with lots of twists and turns. At the very end the recipes disappeared from the mini goal and was unable to complete. Otherwise the game is fun and enjoy it quite fondly.
We started playing in 2013 thereabouts. As a professional, this provides for us the flip side of hustle and bustle. Its calming and comforting. It provides a true feeling of the four seasons. It most definitely is the best way to replicate the feeling of each season with the appropriate decoration.
Ive always loved this game when we were a kid and just rediscovered it recently and havent stopped playing it since.
Game needs improvement, 1. The goals need to be longer than 15 days!! We hope you developers will read this review and do something about it, 2 .There should be no limit on stoves, should be able to buy them whenever you need to. 3. Another thing when you have gems on sale that is the price it has to be it is illegal and called false advertising for having a higher price when stated sale price and you click on apple and it is higher!! Illegal as hell better change that! 4 . On getting these goals it would be nice if you categorize on the goal so can find it quicker, like put in categories as Christmas, Halloween extra.. You people who own this game and update it developers need to read our post and respond to it. Changes need to be done! Again illegal on false advertising for stating one price and charging another for apple usage.

Ive Had The Bakery Story App on our Phone Since 2011,we also used to have restaurant story,Fashion Story and Nite Club Story too. BUT! Why keep all the Dishes to the Ovens Locked? Unlock them! Thats the only frustrating thing about this Game. UNLOCK THE DISHES.
We love this game so much Ive been playing it for years but recently there a lot of Ads in the game we hope you remove the ads so we can play smoothly.
We have loved this game for over a decade and we really want to bring it back!! We redownloaded it for nostalgia but its so glitchy and full of ads that its really frustrating to use. We will buy items and then they disappear, our food goes away, people suddenly all disappear, etc. Want to play this again so please fix it.
We have fun playing this game, wish you could earn more gems, and a way to know upcoming goals. We love the new feature that you can select ask friends instead of tapping.

Cute game but a lot of pop ups and ads.
Ive been playing Bakery Story since we were in college (2010). However, it wasnt until now in our 30s. Ive noticed that there are still no black customers. Theres the one guy with the red hair who looks like he has a tan, but thats about it. We do like how progressive the app has become like you all have Juneteenth celebration items to buy. But we would really like to see Kwanzaa decorations as well. We have Hanukkah decorations and Christmas. But Ive been thinking for a while that we might start playing Bakery Story 2, just to see if its a little bit more diverse.
Very cute cafe/bakery game. We just hate the amount of ads you get every time you login.
At numerous times you dont receive all 20 gifts, even when the gifting area is grayed out. We dont understand why some of our neighbors have so many ovens & stoves out at one time & we can only put out 18 or 19 at a time. Its 49 gems to unlock one appliance after we put the 18 appliances out. Why is that again that some neighbors have so many appliances out at the same time.
Ill give it more like a 3.5. Its a good game, but we feel there are some improvements that can be made.
Good job on the select all for neighbors. Now how about a search bar for parts. Please! And as always, stop the pop up ads. So annoying.
Downloaded this after years of not playing. It glitches way too much to not write a review. You can open the app and second later itll be processing for 2-5 minutes, sometimes longer. As youre trying to prep or serve your dishes, itll endlessly process causing you to have to exit out the app. Its caused our items to spoil, Ive spent gems and money which it does not return during an endless processing glitch. The ads are random and annoying. Youll open the app, start prepping something and boom, ad. The game is very nostalgic, but not worth keeping or downloading.
Too many ads and pop-ups upon opening the game. It makes us want to just close it right away and not even begin playing. Its also extremely disheartening and disappointing that the 2 main characters are caucasian. There needs to be other race/ethnicity options and more brown skinned characters to include EVERYONE. The game LACKS VALUE because of the lack of inclusivity.
The game takes way too long when locating gifts. It would help players tremendously if all gifts were in alphabetical order. Im sure most players would benefit greatly. After playing Bakery Story for 10 years, we grew tired of hunting and scrolling. Sure, we all know where certain parts are located, such as the OVEN ELEMENT. However, you still scroll and scroll and scroll. We love baking goals, but just grew tired of hunting parts. Therefore, we are presently taking a long break. Not sure if or when we might participate in the goals again.
Im still playing and enjoying the game, but the ad experience creates a bad start every time we open it. Theres a forced ad on launch that lasts about a minute and offers no reward. After the ad finishes, tapping the X sometimes still redirects to the App Store, and when returning to the game theres an additional 510 second wait for another X to appear. The ads also occasionally cause the game to crash, which means reopening the app and being forced to watch another ad. Im hoping this gets improved, and Ill update our review if the launch ads are changed.

This game has brought us so much joy over the last 11 years and we dont know what id do without it.
It's so fun to play the background music is so nostalgic to when us and our sister would play this game back then, latterly nothing has changed and we love that.
You can make lots of nice friends. We had Covid and this game and especially the sweet people on this game helped us through that difficult time. People check on you and visit daily wishing you the best! A very positive experience. Enjoy it every time we play.
We absolutely love this game, we have been playing for years its very user friendly, if your busy just cook something that takes long to cook.. The way you can interact with your neighbors is great, Ive made some very nice friends.. We havent had any nasty neighbors, we feel like this is a great game with a great community of players.
