Community Insight:

This game is so amazing. Not your average run of the mill RPG. Fantastic improvements. Keep up the good work! You rock our socks. And that was our review from, like, several years ago. We had taken this game off of our phone, but recently decided to reinstall it. It still blows us away. We dont think Ill ever delete it again.

Hey folks, If you like turn based RPGs and youve never tried this game, you owe it to yourself to give BoH a try. Ive played this one before and we keep coming back because its one of the best. Come by and give it a try, or come back for another chapter if youve already played it before. Hope to see you in chat.

Need more players, you too can be having as much fun as the rest of us.

We consistently come back to BoH despite a hiatus or five. The holiday events bring some spice to Glenfort, and you DO NOT have to pay to win. In fact, pouring money into this game cannot get you many shortcuts. You actually have to earn your stuff, which keeps the game fun and competitive for all! Be warned, once you make an account, youll have a handful of toons before you know it.

Ive always loved this game and come back to it from time to time. It sure could use an update though. Even a small one.

This game used to be so much fun, there were lots of players and the community was great. We started playing back in 2012 when we were going through a rough time in life and it helped get us through it. But now the developer has abandoned it and there are hardly any players online. It feels like a ghost town at times. If the developer ever comes back and starts updating the game and hopefully brings in new players, Ill update our review.

We started playing this RPG years ago and have, until recently, been a loyal customer and fan. Developers seem to have forgotten about this game despite announcements that a beta test for newer versions and updates are upcoming. Last announcement we noticed was over 4 months ago with a tentative ETA of one week for beta testing. The game is filled with clever dialogue, fun character creation and development and enough content to keep a new player busy for quite some time. The combat is interesting and unique with many different abilities and methods of play due each class. If and when daddy Venan decides to continue development we would be ecstatic to rate it the 5 stars it deserves but until then a 2 is all the stars we have.

Downloaded this game while playing jeopardy game. It looked fun. After playing for 10 minutes realized its one of these games where you have ours resources to develop. Why cant this just be a puzzle game? Deleted the game right after. So sick of these games that follow the same format to maximize profit. Way to ruin a interesting puzzle game.

The game has moderators who refuse to help bullied players energy takes hours to recover and takes 5 minutes to finish the PVP matches you with people 10 levels higher so you always lose and you have to pay for shields or you rarely get any at all read the other one star two star reviews for more details.

There is a pointless pvp system in the game that takes forever to queue for a match and then puts you against someone 10 levels higher or 3 leagues higher than you. The grind hits right away as things get way too expensive. Dont waste your time.

Fair, not pay to win, and very social rpg. Play a little or a lot, you should like it.

Great game though honestly it's the people you meet there that are worth staying around. Innovative battle style and upgrade systems. Really like the way gear is powered up. Guild system that is actually helpful and not cumbersome. Quests enough to last months. Holiday events every few months with seasonal gear.

This game is pretty fun for a while. Entertaining combat system, colorful artwork, and some challenging bosses to keep you occupied. The story has some continuity errors and is a little clich with the "sudden apperance of dark forces" but other than that it has a nice RPG feel, which is hard to find in a mobile game. Even if you're not interested in story, raids make the game fun. All of this lasts for say, 3 months of gameplay? Until you get to level 25-30. Then they're just begging for your money. The game becomes too difficult and you need to pay for better gear unless you want to do ridiculous amounts of farming. Overall its a 5/5 game until it gets to this point. To a person new to BoH, we would say download it and have fun with it. But know when the game is just asking for money and stop there.

We think that this game is very fun and unique compared to other card-based rpgs. It's fun strategizing what you're going to do next, and the graphics are fantastic.

Well the game is a little glitchy but our issue is with the mods/GMs that seem racist. We were constantly getting stern and rude warnings about jokes. But when we made the same jokes on another character we got laughs. The only thing we can assume is that the one we played that got stern warnings was black because we wanted him to look like mace windu. Anyways as ridiculous as this sounds it's the only correlation that makes sense. We've stopped communicating with people altogether because of this while playing the game, which is still fun. But we're just wondering if we should stop supporting a racist network altogether. We've never been on the receiving end of something like this before and the feeling is rather surreal.

Freezes up constantly on iPhone 7 plus with latest iOS updates. Sometimes the "complete" button never appears after we finish quests and we can't progress. Game is basically broken for us.

Absolutely terrible, power hungry moderators ruin the game experience. The questing gets repetitive. To top it off, it's another one of those games where you run out of energy way too quickly but you can pay cash for more.

Love this game! We've played it for a little while now on and off, and it's always fun to pick it back up, participate in raids, and complete some quests.

Good game for when we have a few spare moments. Update: had taken time off from the game but got sucked right in with the new update. It's about time more classes were added! Still gets a five star rating.

Very well made MMORPG Its very rare to stumble on a gem like BOH.

We were getting tired of Dungeon Boss and tried this game out on someone's recommendation. We've really enjoyed it, and it's kept our interest up for more than a week with no signs of slowing. It's also not a game where you feel like you need to spend money to enjoy the game and advance your heroes (unlike Dungeon Boss). We recommend giving this game a try if you like RPGs.

We don't play iPhone games, but we play this one. Awesome story line, with a community aspect for those interested, just overall a great game with beautiful graphics and music.

1) Game play is very repetitive and after a short period time becomes monotonous. We would not recommend this game if you get easily bored or don't like repetition, we.e., doing the same 2 raids over and over and over to gain currency. Content is slow to be pushed out and you will do the same 2-3 raids for several months before new content is released. 2) Game moderators and developers are elitist and as mentioned in another review, are prejudicial. Unless you are willing to be a part of the "click" we would stay clear of this community unless you are a sheep and don't mind blindly and aimlessly being a follower. 3) Customer service is extremely slow to respond, rude and very unprofessional. In the beginning this was a great game but somewhere along the way BoH lost its way. Space Miners was probably the reason. After close to 4 years of playing we are going to warn of the issues that BoH has to offer.

The time-based battle system in this game takes it to a level we don't see in many games. Between quests and raids and pvp, there's always something to do in the game, and there are a couple of common critiques (the combat can be repetitive and "grindy", and the pvp often pits players of wide strength ranges together.) but overall it's good fun.

We got this game a while back when we had a kindle fire (back when we liked Cruise) we joined a guild called the flaming knights it was awesome. We stopped playing for 5 years then we started playing on our iPad BUTT (ha ha) we couldn't log into our old account we had spent $20 and wanted to play our old account again.

Great chat app with a game included! We've had a lot of fun with this app. The chat is a great feature, you meet people from all over and of all ages. We have made a lot of online friends. Game was just updated with two new raids. If you see us in game ask for a free jar of Nutella.

This is absolutely the best game that exists in the app store.

Tired of losing our characters every time!!! A new update comes out.

It is fun on every level. Highly recommended. We've been playing it for 3.5 years and with different character classes and builds we still few new things to explore. We very much appreciate Venan's choice to keep the public chat areas wholesome.

This game is great however the whole energy system is terrible. If you want to spend several hundred dollars on a telephone game then maybe this is for you. If you want to play for like 2-3 minutes every few hours then maybe this is for you. Horrible free to play implementation that is just plain unrealistic. It has the potential to be a lot of fun but it is WAY to strict on the energy system. You only have 12 energy and some of these dungeons take 10 energy just to enter and then you ha e to pay 1-2 energy for each fight. So the end result is you dump a ton of money to play for more than 1 or 2 minutes or you wait hours between turns. It just isn't thought out well.

We love this game, but they need to come up with something new. New storyline new levels New equipment something to keep players playing and not get burned out.

Great game. Needs more people to give it a chance; run into the sam people on PvP right now. This game refills energy at a reasonable pace so that it stays fun.

We're a die hard computer MMO and MOBA player and this Game has been far superior to the rest of the free RPGs available.

This is the greatest game on planet side…. We'll never wander or ponder er again for we are whole now.

Best part of BoH is the guild system. Very friendly, chatty, and fun.

This is not some way to kill time between appointments. This is not a game you rush in to just get to the end. This is a freaking awesome quest and role playing game in which the most important part ends up being the social interactions with mostly wonderful people from all over planet earth. We have been playing nearly two years and am still having a great time. Venan Entertainment is also very helpful with customer support. If you enter our works do yourself a service and head to the in game forums and read Amy's FAQs after you get started. Enjoy! Nobby PS: Nothing happened to Venan. They are using reality squared games for their resources and distribution.

We start playing this and 2 hours are gone before we know it.

Only down side is slow high end content and extremely rare updates to catch up with players (once in last 1+ years). A fairly large negative…would easily have been 5*s if not for that.

We have been playing this off and on for close to 3 years. It we a fun game.

We love the game but we need to know what happened to venan??? They really did a good job but did square gaming take over or wha.

Looking for an interactive war game with teams. Found BoH and looked like fun. Volunteer Mods aren't there to help build the game. Obvious they are there just for chatting. We have issues with specific Mod Amy, and her power tripping finger that silences others. If you're 15 you will probably enjoy this game. We don't.

This game is pretty good. The game play keeps you entertained. The style of pvp is a new edgy formate. However the enjoyment is completely ruined. Check the chats sometime, these amazing devs decided to give regular players mod rights. These mods spend all day making friends with players. Then when someone comes along, not their friend, they get chat ban happy. If someone tries to learn what's going on via "whisper" they just get mad and act like a child. Or "do not whisper us again!!" <- direct quote from the mod named Amy. There is this thing called a filter, if amy sees the filter she will temp chat ban. Hello!!!! **** is not a bad word. Fear the chat NAZI.

THEN we PLAYED IT!!! WHAT!! Freakin outstanding! We just started, and already we cant put it down. DL it today.

Not a bad game pretty fun. A good way to spend time with friends.

Great game except for the pop up advertisements. Old school type rpg. Love it.

Have just started and seems pretty good especially for the cost. Played others but too involved and costly. With this game you can choose to pay or not and still have fun. The new upgrades only make the game better.

Decent enough game to pass time.

Engaging play, guilds that work together, overall extremely enjoyable game. Some of the higher quests are definitely grinds and can be tedious.

Started to download it says its 7.0 but we could down load the earlier version so we did but going the game it says we cant lay cause we need later version whats the point of saying we can download earlier version if we cant.

Very awesome planned and developed.
