This game was ahead of its time for sure, its a shame the developers forget about it.
A game we always come back to is such a great game and a gem of its time.
We remember playing this game over a decade ago alongside pocket edition Minecraft. We redownloaded it and within 24 hours Ive beat the main story, Glory Mode, and Crusader Mode. Id hope there would be more updates (story-wise/bosses/different levels). We had to afk some battles just to get more money. (Not because it was challenging but to stack up) Ive never had to buy gold for this game and neither should anyone else. You dont have to buy gold to pass a battle, you just have to switch up your strategy. So if youre stuck, perhaps consider a labyrinth of traps instead of being overwhelmed by superior numbers. Crusader mode was more challenging but it was all a matter of placing more traps and countering the Catapults, battering rams, and the spear rams.( idk what theyre actually called). Those fire pits come in handy against those. We got it to where every defeat got us almost 1k gold. Very easy to load up on. Overall this game brought us back to our childhood and we have two more days of this 4 day weekend so now we get to go all out in Glory Mode. Having an Offensive mode would be cool, and change the dynamic and build up of the game. We can see why the developers shy away from it. It would require a different construction aspect of the game. We see people asking for an infinite mode. It could work but would have to go hand in hand with repairing and adding more troops. Otherwise it would be a one sided fight pretty fast. The story is awesome, dialogue could be tweaked a bit but to our understanding; English isnt the developers first language so its okay. Maybe update the magic tower so there isn't long cooldowns to use fire. Im sure a lot of our peers would appreciate that. We would like to see more story to be flushed out from this game. But considering how its been over a decade, we doubt these changes will happen. Unfortunate because we ; (and many others Id bet) would keep playing and bring more attention/revenue to the author/creators of Fortress under Siege. .Well done on this fantastic game, wish there was more to play. But thats a great problem to have.

We love this game and all and we were wondering do the enemies get a little stronger as you do a new gameplay.
Full marks to our feelings, we came into contact with this game in our primary school nearly 10 years ago. At that time, we played it on Android phones.Google was not available in China, and there were many ways to download it on Android, so it was probably not the legitimate version. In addition, the game is good, we really like this kind of strategy games, now it is a supplementary ticket.
So we have been trying to unlock glory and crusader mode for a while when do you unlock it? Overall this game is one of the most addicting games ever, and we think its fun and well put together.

Great game, lots of fun! We like how you can keep replaying old levels and try new strategies. Would like an update soon. Add fortress and other building upgrades. Needs more lvl ups to troops and defense buildings. Reminds us of lords of the realm 2 castle sieges.
We really love the game and how you can make your own army but we wish the game had more updates more different troops, buildings and fortresses.
So we used to play this a long time ago and it was soooo hard but now we downloaded it again and its way easier and fun one time we deleted all the buildings and just made an army and did very good so theres a strategy if it helped your welcome and also DIS GAME SO FUUUN.

It is a very good game but it would be even better if it had like a game mode for endless rounds or something and have another gam mode about you attack a fortress and their was different rounds and bases.
This is an awesome game but maybe if the story mode wasnt the only free mode that would be cool.
This game is awesome. The only thing we cant figure out is how to play the glory and crusader mode. Does it unlock after we finish the story mode? Another thing, it would be awesome if they added a mode where you can attack a castle instead of defending one. Maybe thats in the glory or crusader mode but we wouldnt know yet. They should also add a mode where you can play locally against someone else. You can take turns attacking each others fortress or something. Anyways tho its a great game.
Honestly its a pretty good game to be honest, its fun, but when you move the troops around its hard for us because sometimes they go a whole another way so its a bit annoying, is it fun? Yes, did we enjoy it? Yes, overall its a pretty decent game and brings us back to all the other medieval siege games that ive played.
But it wont let us restart an entire series of fights. We played the third campaign poorly and it wont let us restart from round 1 w all our gold.
Overall this game is fun. But it has some major issues. The main problem with this game is story and glory mode are way too easy. We beat them both easily in glory mode we probably lost 3 men total. Then you get to crusader mode and it turns to extreme difficulty. On our current level Ive spent around 60k gold and still cant win. The attackers are way OP. Its not like the AI uses a better strategy but their troops simply cant go down. We never figured out how to use the pitch to light enemies the tutorial simply says use fire arrows to light the pitch but we have no idea how to do that. Our last thing is, we had big hopes that the crusader mode would be an offensive mode. Please ad an offensive mode to this game. By the way, the gold prices are absolutely insane, 1$ gets you 1k gold and it doesnt get cheaper as you move up in price tiers. For this reason we will NEVER spend money on this game. A smarter move would be to watch ads for gold if youre going to make the price that high.
It really is an alright game, but when the dragging and dropping controls for all of your walls and units are so frustrating and the extremely pixelated walls, its hard to know what they even do without a description on what they do. Not our cup of tea, but we can see why people could like it.
Little gold to get past higher levels. Units just die from enemy archers and stand still. Needs more auto selecting and perimeter defense on knights if enemy gets close. Its pure pay to win. If you building gets destroyed you should be able to keep money to try a different strategy.
No way to increase screen size to accommodate iPad screen. When you zoom in the screen remains approximately 3 x 5.
So how to change the language? We cant find the way.
We like the game but it is stupid at the same time because how can you defeat 100 soldiers with only 20 people its hard even at the beginning when you dont even have lots of money.
The cost of everything is crazy n if you dont pay money you get no where what a rip off.
If u buy gold and use it for troops u loose the troops at every lvl. So gold gets taken away. Also years ago before in app $ were allowed this game awarded more gold on each lvl. And we were able to beat game. Now its tighened up so much you have to purchas gold at everylvl. Veryexpencive game to play past 1st lvl. We been playing this game on and off many years. Its now designed to make them lots of money. And not in your favor. At all. No matter how good you are. Also a update awhile back it reset our back to the start with no game progress. Take this ifo as u wish. But this is our experance.

We think this game is good but we recommend you to update more mission more level and you should update more graphic like FIFA we think you should earn a lot of player.
We'd never thought this game would be this amazing! We got it just last week and we feel in love with it. It is one of the best mobile apps in our opinion. The only thing that we would add is an attack mode. So you can storm the enemy's fortress. If anyone wants a fun challenging app this is the one.
This game is amazing but we need an attack mode. We want to be able to see what it's like for the other side.
This game is a perfect 10/10. We've never been so addicted to a game before and we don't imagine we ever will. But, we think if another game mode was created it would be slightly better. Our suggestion is an infinite game mode where there is infinite troop housing and infinite waves. That way we could play all day and not feel like a nerd.
This game is great although it could use an update like an attack mode or a sandbox with cheats like unlimited gold for the sandbox mode and you can customize a enemy army for attack or defense.
We enjoyed this game ever since middle school and still do. It's a fun game to play around with and we definitely recommend it. In light of this, you, the company, should make a second Fortress under siege. With a different story and new units like maybe it takes place in the Roman republic/ empire or the 100 years war. Maybe even during the time of early colonial era with firearms and such.
This game is awesome but plz update some stuff like create an attack mode like you defend then you attack then defend and so on also plz lower the price of crossbow men also the ballistic and catapult has a glitch like the catapult doesn't appear on the tower it appears far off from the tower other than that the game is great.
We love this game a lot but it would be cool to play this game if it was hacked like so everything is free and unlimited army that would be flippin awesome.
You guys should make a new game that involves you attacking the castle.
This is probably one of the best games in the App Store, they should make more games like this.
Great game and story line and keeps us wanting to play.
Leave your base open with at least one space surrounding it. From there you can create intricate mazes and have archers shooting anything that moves, essentially it becomes a td game. The melee will walk through the maze and you only have to worry about archers.
It is very addicting,but we think that you should choose either side attack mode or defense mode in story mode,but LOVIN IT.
