HOW TO PLAY
Pick up the scissors with two fingers. Be careful. Don’t cut yourself. Cut off the game launch button by moving the scissor blades just like you would with real scissors. If you happen to be a left-handed player, you can configure the direction of the scissors within the settings menu.
The scissors are highly maneuverable. You can use them to control the direction at which the buttons fall after being cut. You can also move the cup with the hand that is not controlling the scissors.
CLASSIC. The game lasts until you miss three scraps of material with buttons left on them. Upon catching 100 buttons in the cup, you can either receive additional points or recover a previously lost button.
ARCADE. Cut off as many buttons as you can in the allotted time and do your best to drop them in the cup.
ATTENTION! Don’t cut buttons held down by bolts. Only cut buttons tied down with thread.
ATTENTION! Don’t press on the display. Your hand can become tired because of excessive pressure. The fingers have to slide on the display.
TIPS & TRICKS
- You can hit the buttons in the main menu with a finger.
- Aim to cut off more than three buttons in a single cutting movement to maximize the amount of points you gain.
- Reduce the quantity of hand movements. Try to cut more than one button in a single cutting movement.

We love this game it's so cool.it's like real cutting buttons.
When we bought this way back when, it had no ads and we recommended it as a family and kid-friendly app- fun for adults, and awesome on working on fine motor skills for kids too. Updates are supposed to improve apps for existing customers we thought. They should have created a separate, lite version to in-app purchase people to death, instead of tampering with a great app. We do like how the app can be played by left-handers also.

This is the best game ever! It's so entertaining and fun! It gives you something to do for hours! It's always fun to keep trying to beat your best and unlock new themes and scissors! And don't forget the automatic button cutter, best invention since light bulbs! You won't regret getting Cut the Buttons, it's such an amazing app.

Finally a game that is different. Similar to Fruit Ninja, but starts off easier so you like to play it and the learning curve isn't so steep. Great design and feel. It's a winner.

Who knew cutting buttons could be this much fun? This is just plain awesome. We just play this when we're bored. You should add an endless mode. No strikes and no timer. We would like that very much.

This is a fun and entertaining game we love it.
This game is fun but, the scissors are kinda hard to operate because if you move you finger it is extremely touchy.
We love this game. We enjoyed it on our iPod and had fun then but we remembered this game and got it for our iPad. We still enjoy it immensely. But, if there was one thing we would like to add is a "zen" or "relax" mode. We use this game as a relaxation tool with the sounds of the buttons helping greatly. If you developed a slow version (like the first few moments of classic) that didn't have any penalties or metal buttons it would be amazing. Easily our favorite gaming app.
It thought it would be like cut the rope. We were wrong, but it's still really fun.
Bug: After an ad pops up, you can't move the scissors! You have to close the app and reopen it. Other then that, the app is addicting.

Really fun and addicting game but sometimes out of the blue it will shut off. One time we did not have any scissors and we could not cut the buttons. The game is like a mixture of cut the rope and ninja fruit. We find it very creative and fun to play.

If you love fruit ninja, you will love this game. It's very fast paced. The graphics are gorgeous! However, we would gladly PAY for this game if it would STOP interrupting us every round and cut scene with advertisements of other games! How do we turn off the advertisements? Do you want money? This game is amazing and fun and adorable! But after playing it for about 20 minutes, it gave us a burn on our finger. Be careful not to press too hard or rub to fast or else it will hurt. It does warn you about it which is great. We wish there was a setting option to be able to just tap the buttons off. Overall a really fun game.
Fun and unique game but has issues. Lock ups happen frequently and scissors will disappear too. We believe it is a combination of iOS7 and gestures. We're going to try w/ gestures off. We have found similar issues in the past on other "multi-touch" games where they suggested to disable gestures. The problem with that is having to turn on/off each time. Would be nice if you could disable w/in the game but we're sure Apple does not allow access to that setting from w/in an app.
Whenever we get a ad and close it we cant use the scissors anymore.
This is pretty fun but the fact that the controls are not simple at all, make the game less enjoyable. Sometimes when trying to cut the buttons, its almost like it freezes up and we lose. Not cool. Try and update this so the scissors are a little leas sensitive and more accurate please.
Cute game with potential but we have no desire to wade through the many pop up ads. Played it for 10 minutes and deleted it.
We didn't like this game. We can see it being entertaining for kids, but there's not real point or much variety. Also, after every screen there is another pop up ad for other games. Very annoying! The artwork and style or the game is cute, but that's not enough for us to keep this one.

On our original iPad we don't see the scissors until we change the settings. Nice concept for a game. Controls take some getting used to.
We paid $1.99 for this game, why am we getting ads?! Annoying ads too! Pop up out of no where! Some take up the whole screen! Game is fun and different, but ads in a paid app is unacceptable.
Fun idea but the scissors keep disappearing and it locks up and such. It's too buggy to use and we feel ripped off.

This game is full of adverts!!! You have 1 ad every time you change menu!!!! This game is paid, but you still have to buy stuff inside to get rid of those real annoying ads.

It is a really cool waste of 2 dollars it is worth it graphics are amazing just wish we had verieties of scissors and more types of levels like,challange,cut em all ,etc… Other than that it is a great app and verry addictive.
The retina graphics are excellent, and the gameplay is silky smooth. Our 8 year old granddaughter can't get enough.
Original fun and Not a clone of fruit ninja. Cramps our fingers. Only good in bursts.

Here's an issue that probably didn't show up in design, but the "pressure" of winning the game causes our hands to sweat just a bit, a natural physiological function, and our fingers begin to stick to the glass making the game unnecessarily difficult… Even frustrating.
Wasted money.. It was fun the first time. But it got SO boring! It's the same game and challenge over and over. No difference, not even the option of different cutting utensils or backgrounds like the similar "Fruit Ninja". Needs something different.
