We love this game, you can explore your creativity, build up your own story line (our decorating), add new characters to your home, and more! The only thing we wish was decreased is the abundance of adds.
When we were little (we dont remember when exactly), this game was kind of a defining part of our life. At some point we slowly stopped playing, as kids tend to do with their misc. Hobbies, and eventually deleted it. Last weekend we remembered the game and looked it up. We were a little offput by the changed graphics initially, but ended up getting the game anyway. We got in and the game was immediately so grindy; granted, we think it was a little bit so when we originally played it, but not to this level. We also noticed that the game is much more uniform and generic now; where we used to be able to place items wherever we wanted and buy a variety of different things, its now more average, like homescapes or word villa or whatever, where instead you have to pick a specific spot and choose from a few very specific options. Overall, Im dissapointed in how the game has changed. We hope the game will improve and become its own stand-alone game again. We wouldve rated the game 2 stars but we know that this game has much more potential than what its being used for.
This game is really fun, but theres a major problem. The new update-? Its a little…eh. We loved the game because of its adorable characters, simple design, and fun tasks but it changed now. (for all who dont know, this used to be a game with tiny characters helping you fix a room of every house). We wish it stayed the same and not like every other family design game. :( Am we a little disappointed? Yes. Do we miss the old version? Of course. Do we think this game could possibly improve? Yes.
We havent played pocket family in years, but THISis like a SEQUEL!! What an update! Its really changed throughout the years, and Im astonished to see it all. Amazing new character designs.

This game eventually loses the kind of balance that a game needs between what the developers want out of it, and what the consumers want out of it. It needs to be challenging and yet satisfying. If you make it too obvious that the eventual goal is income for the developers, but a frustrating slog for the players with not enough payoff thats where youre going to lose your customer base. Like we said, fun for the two or three days it lasted.

Its was better before they did the change we downloaded this game about a year ago and loved it the we downloaded it again and now its all different.
This is a fun game but other than the fact that it is WAY too heavy on ads, it also wont stop asking us to track data from our other apps. We keep clicking No,Later which just means that the prompt will pop back up again after the next level. Other apps and games have this prompt for us as well but they have an option to select as app not to track. Our privacy is important to us so we will not play this game any longer until this is fixed.
Have enjoyed the game but now am stuck trying to get into last room we see available. We have emailed several times with no reply Very disappointed.

Honestly what the he** is this game now??? We havent opened the app in months and something compelling us to open it today. This isnt even the same game anymore. This is just another version of bejeweled/candy crush. What developer In their right mind changed it to this? At first we thought it was just some type of loading screen that was interactive but no, the whole game is just candy crush basically. Im so so so disappointed and after we finish writing this, Im going to delete the game off our phone. Deeply sad and disappointed in whoever owns this app now.
