Please Note: RC-AirSim is a realistic r/c model airplane flight simulator, NOT an arcade game. And like a real model airplane, it will take some practice to master the basics. This isnt the prettiest or feature-full RC flight sim for iOS, but it does offer a great controller support, unlike most others on the app store. Highly recommended for that capability alone.
Normally we do not write a review on games but this game is perfect there are no ads and it helped us to learn how to fly a real Rc plane we highly recommend it.
Awesome Sim! The only possible negative is that there are no drones or helis but all the planes are excellent.
This game is amazing because every plane is free. But the only thing thats odd is the sound. The sound of the planes are a bit weird no offense but this game is awesome. We have been looking for rc airplane simulators forever but this is the best one that we have seen. Its amazing.
Hi we love the game but ad wars and f4u corsairs.
This sim is our favorite! Nothing to buy, nothing to unlock. No canards or flying wings.. Thats its only downside so far.
We really find it practical and easy to learn about application use.
Maybe you can add a feature were you can import user created planes.
Ive had this app for years, and very happy with it. This update is a great gift.
Nice rc sim! Feels like the real thing.
We downloaded this game quite long ago. The planes are: Blue and yellow Back 40 trainer, pink and yellow and White starts double helix, green emerald glider, master edf France colors similar to F-86, slowmowatt red and yellow which cant even go up properly, then the F-15 Regal Eagle, red Cessna 172 super Dee, dark green, gray and red World war ace 1, then a red white and black world war ace 2. The views are: Default (which is behind the runway), Behind the plane and the cockpit view, the explosion physics are pretty good. The back 40 trainer will all break apart no matter how high you crash. The F15 regal eagle needs to go a bit high and crash on nose for best results, the master edf f86 is our favorite plane. The only thing we want you guys to change is make a explsoion physics.
This game is great and we love it but can you add more planes? They dont have much of an aircraft option.
The game is pretty good but the only things we would like to change is make a quad and a sensitivity setting. Other than that the game is great.
It's quick on downloading but the controls are very hard. We would like if you added easy controls.
We hate the graphics and we have a rc plane its nothing like the real thing.
The controls are completely unresponsive.
Unrealistic planes. Very hard to control. Reaction lags constantly behind input. Terrible app. Uninstalled.
This game had better crash physics before But now it is not great if you run into a tree trunk at full speed nothing happens. Before it would knock one of the wings off. We only played this for the crash physics. Now we Cant!!! Another reason to hate updates.
There are many games incompatible with iOS11, and this is one of them. Some games break the dock, some crash once and then are then unusable until uninstalled. This is one star the whole way. Crap way to treat paying customers by sneaking ads in. If you want to deprecate software, then stop updating it. Unethical.
We love the app. We would love some new planes to purchase.

This game is great and really realistic! The blue plane flys just like our super cub and it stalls the same way too! We really like how you made the plane just explode if you hit a tree or the shed. There IS plenty to do like flips or how low can you go sideways or upside down, and we like to just crash it to see if we can make it explode or if we can crash it with the least damage. This is one of our favorite games. This is a great game get it and try it out.
We love this game it may not have the best graphics but its extremely fun and addicting we love the physics and realism it only has 2 planes tho that's why we might buy full version because it has more planes.
The biplane is awesome. We are learning RC, but this seems forgiving, but not so easy as to be unrealistic. The scenery is a little weak, but the flight mechanics are awesome, and the crash damage is a good reminder that we need a lot more practice. The planes are a little expensive, but this app provides two excellent beginner planes, one is so easy that our 5 year could keep it going a bit the first time he ever tried. Really an excellent trainer. We hope the developer keeps working on it, because there is the makings of a great app here.
We've really enjoyed playing this simulator but there is so much untapped potential! Please update this game.
RC-AirSim is an excellent tool for training for model airplane flying. Now we have a flight simulator that can go with us anywhere. And while it would be impossible to get the controls to feel like the real deal the planes sure do. A couple of our favorite features: 1) the true outside feel when we're flying, we can almost hear the birds 2) it's not a game – so when we hand it to our 4 or 9 year old it's something we can feel good about.
We kinda hate it because the planes cost a lot 2.99 that a lot Please lower the price for like 1.99 but its still a good game.
So realistic,and cool graphics.
It will help you master rc airplanes.
The Reson we love it iz because we're not a hater.
If you can successfully fly and land a plane in RC-AirSim then you can probably fly a real model. We use this to get some flying practice in between trips to the field.
Good simulator but pls improve graphics and pls add a build you own plane mode.
- Add more free planes 2. Make the park bigger 3. Make the tree line a little more realistic (actually put trees there instead of a 2D image, and more realistic crashing) 4. Add more animations for the planes (moving propellors, moving rudders, etc.) 5. Increase max height 6. Put more detail (in the game overall, excuse us, simulator) Please dont take this as criticism, Im just throwing out some ideas for future updates. Wink Wink Ps. The toilet is clogged Ps2. Sony made them a while back Ps3. Theyre fun to play Psp. Is better than a DS Ps4. They are expensive.
We love this rc sim, especially the graphics and Doppler affect with the sound. We bought all the air planes on our ipod but we wish we could transfer our purchases to the xbox is we can have a more realistic controller feel. Also a change in scenery is well needed, we have spent so much time on this we know the place like the back of our hand.
It is a good game it is a vary good game.
We downloaded all of the rc plane simulators we could find. This one is our favorite. The best graphics. Best controls. Most fun! We do however wish there was more fields or an x shape runway. We absolutely can't stand where the dude stands as his point of view doesn't make it easy to practice touch and goes. It makes it very difficult to find the runway. We've spent money and bought additional planes. Now we really just want a difference in the terrain.
Great app, we been flying rc planes for 3 years now and since the last update you guys nailed it. We only have one problem and its the trees and barn in the center of the flying field it obstructs you vision sometimes.
As an avid r/c pilot we have to say this sim is not very realistic. Planes are too nose heavy and very under powered. Moving on.
This app is horrible get rc plane 2 or absolute rc plane sim.
Controls shaky Pay $ for other planes (2.99) Impossible to drive DONT GET THIS APP.
This is really boring there is nothing to do on it if u want a fun game go to rc plane 2.
It stinks because u always stall and u can't do a Barrel roll.

This game is so much fun! We have the xbox360 version and it's almost identical! If you like RC planes, then you need to at least try this game! We hope the planes go on sale again soon.
The single free trainer is challenging enough because controls are sensitive. We fly a loop, barrel roll, speed pass, figure eight, and land, repeat if no crash, just to stay practiced. Do it ten in a row & ready for real deal.
This simulator does not look as good as any of the other ones, and features no movable air surfaces. However, the controls are very fluid, and the airplane flies very realistically. It flies exactly how a high dihedral high wings trainer should! Best of all, it is free! However, we did purchase all of the airplane ask, because they fly realistic also. If you can fly this for 20 minutes without crashing, and take off and land 10 times in a row without crashing, you are ready for real RC airplane.
The flight dynamics of this particular sim are exceptional and thus it makes this app a great tool for practice. Even though the graphics are not as good as some others and additional aircraft models may be a little pricey by some standards, this is definitely made up for with the usefulness that this app provides for simulating and testing your skills as an R/C pilot. Granted, the control rates, trims and weather are non adjustable, but the control response isn't too twitchy like some other simulations. It's also great to see that this particular app doesn't reduce the art and fun of R/C flying into a game either, with needless challenges and other such nonsense as so many other available "R/C" flying apps do.Though it only comes with just one airplane (a basic trainer) for a free app in todays self-entitled world of "gimme, gimme," that's A-OK with us because after all; this app is FREE. And though games may be fun, sometimes you may just wish to keep up on your skills when you can't get out and fly, and we are glad to say that this is a true simulation and provides as much as can be done for a smart phone app.
This is a good game,but it would be easier to fly if you add Gyroscope.
Add flaps, button to retract landing gear, and maybe a smoker to sky write.
