This game is not really fair, the puzzles have multiple answers that can be correct, its so easy to pick a good answer thats wrong!!!! Please stop putting multiple possible answers in the same puzzle.
…got this game. It looked appealing. It was and is! Im afraid that if we chose our next word too quickly, Ill lose points somehow…The words just flow together. We noticed a few phrases from the 1970s and it was delightful. We fidget while waiting for the next word to appear. This is just pure fun. We do not want to stop. We paid our dues and will continue from the first set! Thank you! Ive downloaded? Uploaded a few more of your games just to take a bite….relaxing and fun…oh, we really like when the ACHIEVEMENTS wiggle to let us know we have a new one….its anticipation….is having its way.
Us and our mom like this game when we have a visit. Its a lot of fun.
Would you please consider making your app accessible to the blind population? It would be greatly appreciated so that others can enjoy your games too. We are a long-term care patient who is working with speech therapists, and am unable to practice independently when we are on our own, which is frustrating and delaying our progress.
We love this game and app but it never ever lets us exit it is just frozen every time. Is there a trick? Its only this app ! Please let us know.
Hi we cannot see how everyone else does! Will you please make your games accessible for the blind? We reside in long term care and we are working with the speech therapy department on this game and we cannot do this independently! Accessibility is important to us! We are willing to help recruit beta testers for you.
Edited 3/11/19 the creator responded to let us know the sound bug has been fixed. We played the game for a few minutes and our podcast continued uninterrupted. We have amended our review from 3 stars to 4 stars. We havent even gotten very far in playing this game because we are annoyed from the outset. We hate game sounds. We like to listen to podcasts or music, or even just not have sound, while we play games. As soon as we started this game, and its sequel, our podcast stopped. We went straight to the options and clicked on the sound option to turn the sound off. We are not sure what sound (music maybe) it turned off because every click makes a sound, every time you make a connection theres a sound, and every transition makes a sound. Sounds add nothing to games for us and we shouldnt have to mute our phone when we play a game.
Its a great game, but if you get games for fun or to pass time you hope to play them more than once. Ourselves, being a wordie, flew through all of the possible unlocks without purchase, in a couple of hours. Would be fantastic to be able to unlock more before having to buy the rest of the levels. Overall its fun and not really challenging but enough to keep it fun.
Good game and better than newer COT2. (But we do miss old Psychobabble by another developer!) #RECOMMENDED! Tested >4 wks, iPad mini, iOS 11.4.
Some person deleted our game from our we-padGONE wha it was our dad.
We enjoy the game but it keeps deleting achievements after we reach them. We go into section and see we've accomplished them….then when we complete another and go back to view new achievement and prior achievements are wiped out. Frustrating.
This game is our favorite choice ever! We cant give it 5 stars because of some of the word combs – they just dont go together for us. But we play every day and have played almost all the levels. Are you planning to add more? Please say you will.
A word association game that makes for a good time waster. Most puzzles are fairly easy and then a few (but not many) will surprise you. There's plenty of hints earned in each round. Controls are easy. Just tap your answers. Unfortunately, we did not give it a full 5 stars because this is actually not a free game. We believe strongly that developers should get paid for their work. But…. We also believe that consumers should know what they are getting. You can play some levels, but then the game offers you to pay for other ones. Normally, we think this is great. But… In the description, nothing states that there are in-app purchases. We've noticed that other games by the same developer actually have this statement. We have made in app purchase in some of this dev's other games. Don't get us wrong…. The games are good. But it's not actually free if you have to pay to play or suffer through nag screens. Our suggestion would be to disclose that there are Iap's and offer some harder puzzles in the sample ones.
Most of the compound words were too easy. Others were obscure pop culture references that are decades old. Not a fan. Uninstalled.
You can go so far in this game and them BAM……it starts to cost you. Indy…deleted it.

We LOVE this game! We've also purchased other games by the same developers, and all of them are among our favorites. As an English prof, we are in love with language, and these games are intriguing, fascinating, and tons of fun. We don't agree that they're too easy for adults. We have a PhD in English, and we still miss some of the associations. You can always challenge yourself to solve the puzzles faster, after all. Yes, please keep developing more levels, and keep doing what you do SO well. We need more work with language in a culture becoming increasingly illiterate.
We agree with the other person. This game and your Prymid game are two of the best games we have played. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO MORE LEVELS. We GO BACK ALL THE TIME TO SEE IF YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PUT UP MORE LEVELS. GREAT JOB ON A GREAT GAME.
This was one of our favorite games. But there hasn't been an upgrade of new games in a very long time. Will sadly delete this app if the developers don't give us new games.
Much too easy for adults, even at its most difficult. 1 star each for innovative concept, fluid game play, and a good way to introduce children to word association. Deleted.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this game. We have grade III brain cancer, so we are always trying to find fun ways to check our cognitive & executive function of our brain & we have downloaded all your games & we are far from a pro, but they help us tremendously. Thank you so much for putting these apps out.
We like the game. Can't always agree with the chain but. Just bummed cause we ran out of free games after a week. We will be deleting it. There are too many free games out there.
Update: Eat…fresh…prince…ton…of bricks Really? "Prince…ton"? Princeton is a town or university! It's not even a compound word! It's definitely not a phrase. Who comes up with this CRP? There are millions of common phrases out there. If you can't do better, hire us, FCOL. We really liked this game; so much, in fact, that we bought the entire extras. But there are some things that make us question the intelligence of the developer. They use words that aren't spelled the same, and cut up words that aren't word combos. For instance, we just played a game that included the words "ant" and "arctic". Apparently, the word "ant" was to precede the word "arctic". Problem with that is the two words aren't a word combo, such as the words "green" and "light" would be. So, what's next, devs? "Car" and "pet"? "Win" and "dough"? In another game, the word "fee" was supposed to precede "fi-fo-fum". However, the word "fee" was supposed to be spelled "fi". There are many more examples just like this. We realize it's trivial, but COME! ON! There are so many words to choose from! Do your in-app purchasers a favor and give them…us…what we paid for. Pull out a dictionary. It's not difficult.
We like the concept, but some of the "incorrect" words are correct on the same degree or better than the "correct" answer is.
You won't be sorry. We're betting on it, if you like to use decent apps to help keep your mind sharp. Fun.. Totally free, love it . All the Related games by Jay Bacal are really truly great , also all Free, and we should mention perhaps his wife maybe Julia, create these as a team, and we think it's pretty darn awesome. We are 62 yrs young… Just a FYI.
We love this game! It has never frozen or glitched on us. Every round is different, and round-about thinking is required to meet the challenge. This game does not get boring quickly. Highly recommend :).

It's a fun game but many times has opened defaulting the first move as an error before we have a chance to choose.

We just got this app yesterday and haven't been able to put it down. It's a whole lot of fun to play and not overly taxing on your brain. Everyone needs time to sit back, relax, and play and you can do that with this game.

The game is great but stop calling this app free when only 2 levels are free and anything more requires in app purchase. Either charge for the app or make it really free. This is a bait and switch! Also very limited levels even if you purchase all of them.
The Bacal's games are among the 'cream of the crop' of this genre of games…. IMO. We enjoyed each of the 8 we've played. This one, Chain of Thought, is among our top 3 faves, along w/ 'This is to That' & 'Get + Together'.

Fun game, our only problem with it is, if you get an answer wrong, it takes to long to try and guess again, that's slightly irritating.
We really enjoy this game, it is very addicting. We have not had any problems with it. We just went in and downloaded 3 more games created by the same people. Can't wait to try them.
Good brain game! Not a fan of the pop up wanting us to try other apps from this dev., but a fun game.

This was a great game, but now if we touch play, it just turns OFF. It does not ask you to upgrade, it just shuts down. Ipad is up to date.
Why cant we open the other packs.
We love the game, and would even be willing to pay for it…..but when it doesn't work correctly, we won't pay. Can't pay online…it just crashes every time after playing the complete round in a challenge!! And even forfeiting the game won't clear it. Fix these issues, and we will be back with a new review.
