Love this game. Controls are easy and the game does not seem to be glitchy. We think this game was put together and reminds you of the old school space games.
Space Cadet is so good and awesome because its very easy , sometimes there are very hard levels but you get through it . Like how Wave 5 was so hard it took us 1 hour to get through the level . Its so amazing , and you should rent it . You have to try this . Its so good.
It takes both our 5 years old to play this but they love it.

Our 5-year old son played a version of Defender at Red Robin and insisted on us going back the following Friday(so he could play). We downloaded this game after dinner elsewhere and 5 days later, with us driving and him shooting, we have beating level 50 and started on the expansion pack. Nostalgic for us and making memories with him! Thanks Space Cadet.
This game makes you work for the upgrades if you dont want to dish out the cash for extra medals. However we find its just hard enough to make it fun and challenging.
Great game for free, fun, easy to play , just like the old days. Endless wave is not to bad once you beat invasion one. We mean it will give you something to do in the waiting room, lol.

You might enjoy the game like we did for the challenge, but the extraordinary difficulty at level 46 was put there on purpose: to alien-facesuck your wallet. We agree with the other poster: Sorry guys, this is BS. Never ever been more frustrated. Its worse than any game Ive ever played because of this. Dont waste your time. Bite us.
OMG we LOVE IT SO MUCH we AM ADDICTED.
We downloaded it had a blast it was a lot of fun got hung up on a couple levels that we had to try several times. Was fun until you beat the campaign and it prompts you to purchase the 2nd… (looks like there's at least 3) only $3 though but still probably short like the first? Not gonna risk it. It does however offer an endless mode afterwards which it seems the waves are in the order of the campaign except survival… At this point the $ you earn is from random drops after killing enemies which are worth 5-20 at this point it just isn't worth grinding out… The next upgrade we were looking at getting was gonna cost 15000… But you figure hey if we play through survival long enough to get to a boss he might drop a lot! So go through kill a boss and he drops 20 same for the next boss as a free 2 play player it is a fun game and definitely worth checking out but the fun is short lived. An easy fix to this would be the option of playing through the first campaign again with different levels of difficulty where you get to keep all your previous upgrades. All in all was a good experience though giving 5 stars cause we did have a lot of fun with it.
It does get hard , but it will let you continue and keep on playing . One of the best game app . Thank you . Takes us back in time to arcade gaming and more.
Love this game and the new version! Maybe just as important, had a glitch that was bugging us so we contacted support. Over the course of a week and at least half a dozen messages, the developers went out of their way to help. They adhered to the highest possible standards for customer support so if we could give them 10 stars we would. Looking forward to this and other future apps of theirs as a result.
Probably the best space shooter out there. Very nice.
We never use special weapons, except for maxed out missiles, on the actual levels. You do need certain things in order to do well and you can sit on a lucrative level to attain needed upgrades although it is very tedious…but doable. Its the endless wave section. Even with all upgrades we cant get over 20,000 points. Maxed out special weapons and all other Max upgrades wont do it mainly because the energy regeneration rate, even maxed out, is way too slow to support special weapons effectively. Recon is great because regen rate has a supercharge option and is much faster. So trying to get a high score here is virtually impossible without a faster energy regeneration rate. A supercharge option would solve this, but otherwise its really not worth it.
But frankly we think you can do better, you draw inspiration from classic Atari games such as space invaders. Not once did you try to pressure us with pop ups in game o give you a 5 star review or buy coins. Which is the kind of thing more developers need to do on the app stores. But lets move onto flaws, we noticed hit detection can be spotty, almost like your ships hurtbox is larger than you can visibly see. Also it lacks significant story, we did not feel much draw to continue(level 46 and counting btw). Overall in our rating system we this game as A tier. We will keep an eye on you and hope for improvement in the future.
- We cannot beat wave 46. 2. 90% of power ups and upgrades are overpriced. 3. We used to play this on another device and the bullet recon reflected enemy bullets but on this device it makes enemy bullets disappear. Poof! Clearly this game needs some improvement with power ups and bullet recon. Thank you.
This is a cool game. Not money hungry like others. Pretty cool action. Could be a little easier but still awesome game.
Really wish we could turn off the bullet recon :/.
We really like the game. Its challenging and entertaining but, it can take a long time to get enough metals for more upgrades. We wish there was a way to win more metals every so many levels. Thats why we gave it four stars. We havent gotten to the point where it frustrates us yet.
We love it! We have a few suggestions though, one is to fix the glitches that are going on.
We like this game. Its really addicting, and we played as a kid. We like how you can buy upgrades, but we wish you would get more medals or make them better. Like really?! Only 20 points for killing he level 50 boss. Like what the heck. Still a great, fun, addicting game though.

They aren't as mean on the surface like companies that make you pay to keep playing, this one makes it so hard to play that you need to spend money on upgrades in order to continue. Still quite Ahole ish IMO. Update: we've decided to up the rating to 4 stars because the developer was kind enough to respond to our previous review. It's pretty awesome this still happens and they take the time to do so. They also have given good tips which we hope will get us past level 46. Even though they called us not smart, which is correct, we appreciate the challenge and Criticism given back. :-).
This game reminds us of the old arcade days. We think it's pretty fun. We've spent a lot of time playing it and it took us a while to finish but when we did it was a good feeling. The best part is being able to upgrade your ship, the old arcade games didn't really have this ability so we really like that. Also there are no 'lives' you can keep trying and playing as long as you'd like, no 'game over'. Our 2 cents anyway.
A little harder than other games and in order to get to a certain level youll have to upgrade which we feel is not considered free.
Im at level 30, the alien shoots 3 missiles in sets of 3 then shoots a full row of bullets close together. Its near impossible to win. We currently have 4,000 coins and need 5,000 to get the upgrade on the weapon. We cant get that extra 1,000 coins since we cant beat the level. What next? $4.99 to buy the remaining coins to upgrade the weapon. No thanks. This game was great and super challenging but Im stuck. Hope theres an update soon if not we will have to uninstall.
We reached level 50 after a few days off for fun. Level 46 & 47 were very difficult but possible like the developers claim. They also claim in the reviews that theyre built it in a way that in app purchases arent necessary. Until you reach level 50. We made a few in game purchases to upgrade because it was more fun that way. But Im unwilling to pay more. Too bad.
Ive gotta agree with some of the others in the reviews. The game is fun but after a while the controls do become slow reacting. Getting to level 46 was fun until you see how impossible it is to move quick enough to win. Then it does come down to you either pay money to buy enough equipment so that you can win or just delete it.
Game has potential but the fact remains that our character is stuck in a 2 dimensional pattern myopic by opponents can move everywhere. Been stuck on level 22 for forever. Not sure how the developers expect you to escape from rounds that come every direction leaving nowhere to go. Then there are upgrades that are so high, it takes during over and over for hours just to get a small insignificant upgrade. Losing interest fast.
You will enjoy this until level 46, which is so ridiculous that youll either quit or buy medals. Ridiculous. Im happy to pay for an honest game up front, but dont want to have to pay to keep playing.
Need ability to move ship with 1 finger instead of lame arrow controller.
This game is not fair and set up to get your money.
Ievels are to hard it made us cry.
Code a circa 1980s Space Invader clone. Add a system of monetization that renders the game from easy-peasy to bloody unplayable in 15 minutes, add $5.00 of in-app purchases to make the game playable again, rinse, repeat. Take Unity engine, add some $10.00 3rd party gfx and not a great deal of cleverness and try to make money off the unwashed masses. EPIC FAIL! Do not buy. Waste of time, on all levels.
The controls are sluggish and the only way to win is to spend money on upgrades.. Downloading this game was a huge waste of our data… It's junk.
The controls are terrible to slow and not responsive and once to get to level 19 or 20 it's impossible to advance unless you spend real money which it's not worth one red cent because of the controls and how unresponsive it is. We'll hit the move button and it freezes and a bomb will land beside you and kill you without it even hitting you. Crap game zero effort put into it just another way to take your money and give you very little in return. The App Store has really gone to IAP nightmare.
Reached a level where you pretty much can't progress (at least, we can't with the upgrades we picked) There's no option to change our upgrades or even go back to the previous level. All we can do is grind tiny little coins…or pay for medals to get upgrades needed to finish the game. Either make the game cost money, or make it free. We don't deal with games that try to hook you and then demand cash to continue.
The reason why we rated Space Cadet with 5 stars, is because we have been using Space Cadet for about a year or more. We like the options the the game gives you, and how it is set up. It is a fun fun game.
Fun old school arcade game!!! Graphics look good controls are easy auto fire works great for small screens. Good game to waste time on.
We completed this game over hundred times And we became addicted to this great game. Please we really need an update of more than 100 levels, whatever it cost. We hope the update is very soon please. Thank you so much for the great job.

The game a lot of fun. Once you build your ship and especially once you get shields the game is easier but still a challenge. We bought the next level it's hard but fun. If you like a shooting alien game this game is for you.

Only have a small smart phone, but works well on it. Find it a fun and frustrating game. Trying to get the upper over 40 levels takes time. Like it very much.

Well we beat the second level and spend all that money and that's it????? The more levels tag doesn't give you more levels just takes you to a did game to down load. Now what.
