Raccoon is a retro style platformer filled with cute pixel graphics and sounds.
You have to collect all the fruits in time to complete level.
The game play is simple but will keep you entertained.
Try to complete as fast as possilbe to get best score and compare your high score to that of other players in leaderboard.
Currently total 25 levels of increasing difficulty from easy to hardest level which needs your control skill through dangerous passages and spiky obstacles.

This is such a simple, joyous game. It is a lot like the old NES and Atari games, like Donkey Kong and such. Other reviews have complained about the ads, but they are infrequent and can usually be skipped. We love our chubby little red raccoon.

This is an awesome game! It is really fun and challenging to play. We love the retro platform and how it has pixels. The game is again fun to play. But the only thing that is giving you a 4 star rating is the adds. We cannot stand when adds pop up. If you can update and make an option where you can pay $0.99 cents for add free we would definitely purchase that. Also add MORE levels.
Level 22 is impossible unless there is a jumping/ladder feature that we're not aware of…..anyone know.
If u need your retro fix but don't own a classic console, then this game has u covered! Raccoons are our favorite animal, and seeing one in an arcade-style platformer is just glorious. This game is really fun yet challenging, which is a good thing considering SO many games now-days are easy. The only reason we gave the game 4 stars instead of 5, is because adds pop up a bunch. We suggest u get this amazing game.
We swear we thought this was an iOS port of an arcade game from the early 80's but it's an original title that mimic's the old arcade style. You simply need to collect the fruit on the level, the tricky part is the touch screen controls and learning to adapt to the way the character can jump. If you can get over the intense difficulty, and enjoy classic arcade game design you'll enjoy this game. We wish it had iCade support, it seems to be made perfect for an iPad in an iCade cabinet.
This is such a horrible RIP-OFF of a classic: Donkey Kong (Nintendo) that is so bad, the Atari 2600 version made from Coleco is better in comparison!! First, there is no background music of any kind. Second, the sound effects are WORSE than the Atari 2600 version. Third, the controls are HORRIBLE There are VERY FEW games that are so bad, we hide them from our App Store History because we refuse to remember them. THIS is one of those horrible games that made that list!!!!!!! We have games that are so old, they are no longer available for download that we keep on our App Store History because those were outstanding games. If you dont believe us, go right ahead and download this GARBAGE Recommended: HECK NO.
Two seconds in, gameplay stopped to force advertising vids. Pass.
Like other reviewers this game freezes, sound stops, and jump function fails at random then won't come back on unless you exit. It's free (with adds) and fun, if you can get it to work.

Brings back a lot of memories from the 80's. !!!! Takes us back to 1985.
Raccoon is a fun game reminiscent of the 80's arcade games such as Donkey Kong, however it is punishingly difficult. One wrong move and you meet your death at the hands of snakes, centipede creatures or falling, and it can be quite frustrating. Still, this game is an entertaining distraction.
This game is done in classic arcade style. If you grew up playing games like Donkey Kong or Mappy, you don't need tutorials explaining how to move, and you most likely have the competence to figure things out on your own. This title is a great throwback to those old games, and is actually pretty addictive despite the brutal difficulty. The game is built around timing big and small jumps while avoiding indestructible enemies. It would have been nice to be able to jump over enemies, or get some kind of Donkey Kong hammer, but the game is still fun, especially for a free title. Definitely for fans of old arcade games only.
There must be a way to play this game. Only the developer knows. Poorly done.

We like this game a lot. It's very difficult, but not impossible. There's only 20 levels. We did beat level 20, although it took us half a day to do it. The old style of arcade games are fun because they were always so difficult to begin with. There's more satisfaction in actually playing a game that takes skill rather than walking through a storyline. We hope to find more games like this and hope this one gets updated with more levels.
Yay! We like playing Ponpoko on our iPad! Though it does get challenging, it's all part of the fun.

Really solid game for lovers of old school arcade style. Graphics straight from the 80's definitely leave you feeling nostalgic. However, there is no beating Level 20. It's not possible. What's up with that? As the creator, show us it can be done. It's NOT POSSIBLE. So you get 2 stars for lying.
Not only is this game insanely frustrating but it's pretty much impossible. Don't waste your time.
We could not get this game to work. The squirrel would not jump when in the middle of the screen.

This was a good takeoff of donkey kong except for the controls do not respond all the time, the jump button works 1 out of every 3 times pressed. Im deleting this.
Waste of time to download and try. Can't jump more than a couple of times then you die – deleted.
Hard to control and no payoff with success . Total snooze fest.
You cannot attack the enemies or jump over them. And the game is also boring.
This game looked like it would be fun but is beyond terrible. Can't get past three jumps.
