Community Insight:

Fun game many options to play on.

This is a great way to learn blackjack.

Great practice, well put together and genuinely helpful.

Works well and allows for good options. The only thing we dont like is that you can only get the pro features with a subscription. We prefer to just purchase the app.

Ive found this app helpful to prepare for our upcoming Vegas trip. We feel more prepared.

Great training game, really enjoying it, sometimes you will take a hit, then it will say wrong, optimal move is to hit. Other than that good.

Sometimes in core practice, when your dealt 2 aces the split icon is blurred out, unable to split the aces. Forces you to hit or stand, both of which are not correct in the scenario. Overall though, great app to practice with.

We keep running into a situation where we should split 8s, the split option is not available, then when we stand, we get told we need to double.

When you are practicing soft hands and you are dealt a pair of Aces split is greyed out. Also, we think surrender rules are wrong for H17 games. You are only supposed to surrender against a dealer 10 when you have 15 and you are never supposed to surrender a 17.

The stat tracker is amazing to visualize your progress. But often, the correct answer is blocked and youll be unabled to answer correctly. You guys should leave all buttons functional at all times to fix this problem. Multiple times, the split button is blocked for when we get double Aces, 8s, & 7s. Or just doubles in general, kinda sucks because it effects our stats negatively when we actually know the answer. Til they fix this, our ratings 3 stars. Will change after a fix is patched.

Honestly its a perfect basic strategy trainer. Our issue is the glitch that will not give you the split option with every single pair. Ill get a pair of Aces and it wont let split them because the split button is blurred out. Therefore ruining our accuracy. So yeah its good but this bug is incredibly annoying as we would like to see 100% but never can due to this.

When your hand is dealt, the top card covers the bottom, obscuring the number with no apparent way to see it. Makes zero sense.

Updated version is Completely wrong in terms of how to handle a pair of 9s. It says to always stand.which is incorrect. How could this get by you all? Very disappointed.

All you get is the basic. Disappointed.

Absolutely love this app for memorizing basic strategyits incredibly helpful and effective. Our only minor gripe is a quirky bug that prevents the main screen from fully fitting our phone display. Its a bit odd, and the majority of the text is cut off, but it doesnt significantly impact usability. We can still access all the practice options, so it remains a very useful tool.

We think its a great app that teaches good strategy except for you cant do pretty much everything without getting premium, which is really annoying.

This app is easy to use and does not require a purchase to use.

We wish everyone who sits next to us at a table in a casino used this app.

Great app for getting quick practice in. Any time we have a few minutes of down time we can open this app and get in hundreds of simulated hands that improve our response time and get where decisions are almost mindless. You just know what to do instantly.

Cant go wrong with this trainer. Use it every time before we head to the casino.

Solid interface and really helpful trainer when you want to improve your understanding of basic strategy. We like the detailed feedback, could go even more into the why sometimes.

Works great on our phone but crashes our tablet.

This is a great ap good way to practice in where you are weak at the table.

This app will train you fast in basic strategy, do it and lose lot less. Unless you card count do it and win.

You do have to pay money to get to a reasonable level of functioning but the full app is actually really great. You can split the hands up by soft vs pairs vs all the hands. The only improvement we can think of is that it would be nice to get a simulated count and then be able to chose a deviation from the basic strat. Alternately, incorporating a count and being quizzed on it would be a cool addition. This is perfect for what it does. 5 stars.

We think with each hand, it should say the basic strategy chart that goes with it. The line that goes with it it would help people.

Im new to blackjack and started to train with this app. Its easy to use, safe, and really helps us understand and improve on the basic strategy.

You used to get to play basic practice 150 hands. They cut it to 50. The pay version at $8/month is just way to much for what your getting. Its good for $1-2.

The simplicity of this app is amazing and we cant say enough good things about it! Ive tried virtually every blackjack app there is and nothing compares to this UI. Other apps are too focused on teaching/hand analysis and are too slow to enjoy, but his app runs as fast as you can push it! If we could make two minor changes, we would add an undo button because we hate when we accidentally fat finger the wrong action and ruin our streak, and we would bring back dark mode for the strategy table like the earlier version used.

Free version just fine for thousands of hands of drilling the basics.

Great app for practicing blackjack hands! But there can be so much more. 1. Would love to see continuation on some of the hands (ei. After a split on 6,6 vs 6. Theres still more decisions to be made). 2. It will also be helpful to see when the deck finishes and shuffles (varying from the size of the deck). Plus, an option to keep a live count and its different styles. (Hi-lo, Wong, ko, zen, etc) 3. Be able to play multiple hands (up to 7). And lastly, a betting option. With multiple player profiles so one can use them individually for its different purpose of the practice. And see each stack progress.

Good practice but some of the strategy tables correct answers are not in line with what is shown on the online website strategy table.

We accidentally paid for a month of the subscription and they gave us a full refund and it wasnt one those refunds that took like 2-5 business months we like the app and the people who made it we appreciate youre work.

Great app with a good UI and good tracking. The problem is that the charts are not adjustable. Please make an option to use. BJA charts as its annoying to get wrong answers based on your charts being off. Also, having deviations based on count would be helpful.

Latest version does not work for us on iPad. No deal btn. IPhone version is fine.

Example, in the first minute of trying this app, it told us to never split a pair of 2s vs a 3. Hmm.. This may be reasonable if not accounting for DAS. Possibly different hi-lo counts too, or even risk appetite for newer players. But for seasoned players, never split 2s v a 3 is not useful info.

Excellent training app one basic strategy mistake we have found, not a huge error so wont be big if someone plays this way.

The only extensive Blackjack app youll ever need.

A little practice every day improves your game dramatically. App makes it easy. Glad we found it.

Disregard the negative reviews! This app is for people that understand basic strategy per the table configuration and allows you to practice effectively by repetition! Good job, developers.

Great app, a couple of errors though. Some of the messages are misleading, and there is a basic strategy mistake. A8 vs dealer 6 is a stand, you have it as a double.

There a couple of hand combos, especially with pairs, that dont follow basic strategy. For instance, splitting 4,4 against a 5 or 6 is the optimal play, but that isnt reflected in this app. Once you understand that, this app is excellent.

For example, says to hit, not split, 4,4 vs dealer 6. There are other scenarios as well it gets wrong.

This is a fantastic app for getting automatic with blackjack, but we just got a scenario wrong, even though we checked and its correct on Blackjack Apprenticeships chart. You should hit on a 9 vs a dealers 2, but the app says you should double. Beware! Great app but check with other charts to be sure the scenarios are correct.

Very easy to use trainer that tells you what the wrong and right moves are for each hand. But thats literally it. Theres no information if you want to know WHY to make a particular move. Its just either youre right or youre wrong. We would appreciate a little more context. We think if we know exactly why something is right or wrong, it will help us learn it quicker.

This is great for practicing. But beyond right and wrong, it doesnt give much feedback on why you should do what on what hands. Im a beginner and know almost no blackjack so that doesnt help us learn the strategy.

A very pointless free app, absolutely only download this if you plan on paying for an app.

There is no email we received and we dont want to pay for this. Please respond.

We just downloaded this app last night and we see a charge today for $15 that we did not authorize. We thought this app was free?!!! If anything, you should have a free trial before charging anyone. Very upsetting. The app isnt even that great! When you get something wrong, it should explain why its wrong, not just that its wrong. So disappointed. We wish we could give it ZERO stars. ILL MAKE SURE AND SPREAD THE WORD ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY.

We originally paid for this app 4-5 years ago. Then through an update they switched it to an expensive subscription. We dont need the upgrades, its still the same app.
