We refuse to pay a dime for this kind of thing. So there's plenty of adds for other apps we're NOT going to install, but pop up right where we're about to click anyway, so we have to re-close the App Store. Also, coins for reviews, so here we are. But if you just want to dick around with some hold'em, it's worth a shot.
Just downloaded the "latest update" of this app and it is still extremely buggy. Sometimes it works fine and it's great, but most times, the app crashes when you get a good hand. We have an iPad Air. Fairly recent model. This app crashes all the time and it's quite frustrating.
After updating the app with the Nov. 1 release, we are being kicked out in less than two minutes every time we start playing.
It crashes in the middle of game then if you don't get back in right away you keep losing your ante's !!! Needs fixed ! We've lost over 10 million ! And we bought 5 million of that ?!?!? :( If crash you lose any money you had to play with.
The way that this game displays the ranking is incorrect, and deceiving. They don't show a lot of players above you in the ranking to make you think that you are ranked a lot higher than you really are. We have sent pictures proving this to support. Fix this, and we will increase our rating.
The app crashes on start-up, during play and at any other random time. This was supposed to be a stable version.
Very engaging and well done app. But… Since we installed IOS 9 on iPad the app crashes .. All the time. On starting up every time. In the middle of hands and most frequently when hand ends and next hand is setting up. It's become almost impossible to play because it's so bad. 11-4-15 – latest update did not improve the crashing at all. Still nearly impossible to play on iPad iOS 9.
Great game and real time poker feeling! Must try to understand plus a ton of bonuses to get so u never go broke.

This game is insanely addictive. The music and graphics aren't hokey and don't distract. Easy enough to play for free, but if you did choose to purchase chips the prices are not expensive and have good value.

The game was fun and addictive until we down loaded ios9' now all it does is crash, money has been spent on chips here, having a game to keep crashing is DISGUSTING.
We had a hefty bankroll for a quite a while. Then we thought we were on the longest and most extreme bad beat possible. Finally we had to realize it was just a scam…because we never needed, and never would pay for chips. When your great hands constantly (and we mean constantly and over time) looses to freakishly great hands especially on the river – it's over – scam city. We logged on again recently and our bankroll and name was gone. They gave us a new name and starting chips – now we were on the other side – the computer was dealing us the long shot bogus wins. BORING.

Tx poker is one of the biggest scams. Don't plan on getting a fair game if your not prepared to buy chips. You have been warned. Not worth a single star, not worth your time.

It's the easiest online poker app or all the apps we've tried. We'll never be revisiting the other apps this one is clearly the best and they even give you free chips every time you do something amazing on the table.

We originally rated this app 5 stars. There was a lot to like about it. Its the best poker app that Ive seen, actually. On edit: Wild Bobs review is correct. Something very odd is going on. In the tournaments, the other players now do nothing. They are frozen. Edit #2: As of this date, everything is back to normal. Tournament opponents are no longer frozen. So this is once again the best poker app in the App Store. Nothing else comes close.
Theres a lot to like about this app. 1. Its easy to get to a table. You dont have to click through a ton of special offer screens first. You can choose between 5 and 9 player games. You can also choose between fast and normal games. We like that flexibility. 2. Its easy to get free chips. Yes, you can buy chips. But you really dont have to. 3. Theres no complicated goofiness here. Thats quite unlike the iPads WSOP poker game. In one WSOP tournament we won 500 hats (not kidding). We still have no idea what that means. 4. Many of these poker apps have players who go all-in on every hand. That makes it less like poker, and more like bingo. We havent seen much of that here.

Bought new ipad. Over 10 million in chips did not transfer. Will not buy from this app again. You will lose your chips if you ever update. Other games transfer their chips when u update. The game no matter where we are keeps folding our hands and kicking us out of the room. It says its a connection but its not. Its stuck folding and Ive lost about 10B not knowing it would still do it after a restart. We offloaded the app and will try again. Less money now that it has taking a great part of the wealth we played hours for.
Fun game to play with others round the world. Server gets busy at times… But thats okay. Lots of fun… Enjoy it thoroughly.
