Player Experience Highlights
Community Insight:
We wish they would addd more comtent.
Ive played this game on and off since we were like 16 and Im 24 now but ever time we remember it we HAVE to download and play it again haha.
EDIT. They fixed the control glitch and this game is now awesome!! This game would be awesome if the controls worked. Every time we play, after a while, the joystick stops working. It happens on every we device we play the game on. Really frustrating because the game is great and really addictive.
Its only fair that we eventually leave a review for this absolutely amazing game. By far, one of our top favorite mobile games ever. One thing we really appreciate about this game are the intuitive touchscreen controls. Its a perfect mobile gaming experience for when youre looking for a simple hack and slash, and yet, you dont have your mobile controller with you. Side note: controllers are still supported as well and it works great.
Make time fly by, simple game yet so good. 5 star everyday.
The game has cool pixel designs and combat designs! Should we ever be talking about the game instead of playing it.
Ive been playing this game for over six years. Starting at age 4. We have all 13 achievements and have over a million gems. We think this game is very fun never gets boring but blood is overused. Overall 10 out of 5.
Ive been playing this game so long we always come back to it.
Games very fun and addictive our only question is can you parry.
The blood and gore is good and no ads! Love the characters and weapons.
We used to play this game when we were little, now ive been playing it for days. Its so fun.
In our opinion its the best iPhone game out there you need to check it out. The combat is amazing and easy to learn.
Ive been playing this game sense it released. Very simple idea and controls are great. Ive been waiting for a part 2 or 100 more levels and other abilities to be added. Love this game please make another.
When you beat the game , you unlock the only one character. Cool game devs, and the game is a ton of fun.
Add new update please please please please ^_^.
Great game for the average gamer to have on there phone.
We really like it! But could it get a 2.0 version.
Love this game. Just reinstalled and Im not disappointed.
We always come back to this game its so good.
We have played a-lot of games and whenever someone asked: whats your favorite mobile game we wanted to say this games name but we keep forgetting it. Anyways, we love this game.
Only One is an amazing game, with more cool features and elements than we can count, and we have recommended to others. We only have one minor thing wrong with it, concerning one of the latest updates. Recently there was an update based on tweaking the movement, so that it would be more "stickier" and forgiving of short gaps in movement input. (If we remember correctly, these gaps were supposed to be 0.2 seconds or less.) Although most might not notice this change, consider it coming from a dedicated player (#6 high score on Apple leaderboard) when we say it's becoming more of a problem, especially in the high-intensity and complexity of gameplay associated with levels around 91-100, where movement output must be exact in order to survive. The issue is that when a player is moving their finger around the on-screen joystick, with very fast back and forth movements, occasionally the game records these abrupt moves as one of the short lacks in movement, in which it resets the movement, typically in the wrong direction. An example: Not too long ago, we were on level 98. We were running close to the edge, trying to lure a Golem in order for us to try to push it off. When we circled around to get behind the golem chasing us so that we could attack it easier, we dashed our thumb on the movement to the left to avoid one of its attacks, but the movement's response was opposite: making us run to the right, allowing the golem to send us flying off the edge. It happens in all kinds of ways, that just being one incident that came to mind. Our suggestion to fix this issue would be to make a button or option, that could make the "Stickier Movement" able to be toggled on or off by the player between the way it is now and the way it was before. The movement was fine before that update, but recently we have been noticing the issue, leading us to think that it may have been better to not have implemented the movement, or at least make it optional, as we are suggesting. Thank you for taking the time to look into this.
Now Im just doing this for currency in the game but the game is really nice.
One of the best games Ive ever played (on mobile ;) Its a simple level based game, yet requires skill and experience. We used to play this game on Android but, Im glad it hasnt changed.
Best game ever made for the iPhone.
Amazing game, bringa back memories.
We LOVE THIS GAME SM ITS SO FREAKING NOSTALGIC.
Baby dont hurt us, dont hurt meee. No more.
Its great 2play when youre bored And we are so op.
We love this game, really needs a remaster.
Its a quite simple game to pick up and play. But, it takes practice and strategy to become really good at it. The passive and active skills add fun customization to how you want to play. As a hardcore gamer, we loved it.
Today. We finally beat the game. Defeated the final boss. We bet if we had dedicated some time years back we would have done this ages ago. But we play here and there and finally took the cake. Best iOS game without a doubt.
Ive had this game for a few years now. Ever since Vsauce announced it in one of their D.O.N.G. Videos. We love that this game isnt in your face with ads and promos. Yes, they do have a few in-app purchases, but not a subscription basis. It is actually worth to get Ultimate just to support the creators of this game.
This game is probably one of the best immobile games ever made.the only thing it's missing is a story or campaign mode of sorts.were you attack castles and stuff oh man would that be cool.
Decent game. Ok mechanics. Good job.
This game is one of the best ones on mobile ive ever played its addicting and makes you want to keep going even though it is challenging. The only negative thing we have to say about it is how expensive everything in the shop is. You have to play for at least an hour to even afford another heart in the shop. Along with that why would you need to buy every other character for $10 a piece?? That seems excessive.
The whole mechanic of the melee enemies only being vulnerable when they miss is really cool its just unfortunate how easy it is to not realize this. The tactic of going to a enemys back to get really easy hits on them is never really shown off unless you get the backstab perk which feels like putting the tutorial behind a paywall. Just some better ways to learn would probably help out new players, like say if a player gets stuck and repeatedly dies on one of the early game sections (say before lv50) a free tutorial button shows up and shows off some lesser known mechanics that they havent used so far.
Its fun but it can be better. The skills/powers are way to expensive. But the bosses are a good touch to not just be fighting enemies. And sacrifices are optional tasks with good bonuses. Good game 4 starts at best.
This is a really good game, but at the end the dev gets really lazy and starts spamming just a bunch of enemies to make it hard and not create new enemy types, really poorly done in the tweaking of difficulty, but great otherwise.
Its a simple but fun game. Very addictive. Would be 5-star except that the movement control gets stuck and will fatally walk you in random directions (off the edge) ignoring all touch input. 3-stars because this has been a known issue for literally years.
We spent money on this game and everything we bought vanished and wont restore. What a jip.
Love this game but can we get more characters? Been using the dwarf.
We like the retro graphics of this game and the battle arena that is never ending. It's super fun and a game that we have deleted and then come back to many time. And it's free! You won't be disappointed.
We love this game we always played this 8 years ago on our dads phone But now Ive got our own phone and we are revisiting Ive loved it its even better then we remember but sometimes For some reason the joystick doesnt work Like when we move it one direction half a second later it defaults back to the middle we know its not a screen problem we just got a new phone an hour ago And the spot the joystick is in including our entire screen works fine in other games Sometimes it works but most it doesnt pls make the game playable.
One of our faves, no real issues, worth every penny.
Really enjoying slashing our way through this 8 but action. Just the right amount of gradual change in difficulty.
This is the greatest game we have played.
When you kill the enemies its SO satisfying like the sound is just MMM.
Speechless, this game is flawless. The pixel retro style combined with better performed graphics (light emanating from the sword) its fun to play because its endless.
It is good in passing time and actually overall extremely fun with power-ups and difficulty increasing each time overall awesome game.
