The Way Walkers: University epic continues in the second part of the Tar'citadel trilogy by author J. Leigh!

Picking up right where you left off in part one, the city and school are still in shock from the mysterious attacks, and the question on everyone's mind is…who was behind them, and why? Choose for yourself: will you be drawn into the hunt to discover the truth, or simply try to have a normal life in this city of Talents?

Will you excel in your Ability classes, and survive the complex hallways and their many magical surprises? Can you piece together the clues, and begin to discover the truth behind Illyan Giesi? Will you be able to balance your relationships between Jun and Sem, or will friendships crumble while rivalries deepen to hatred? Can you win the fight for a friend's soul, or risk losing them forever?

Finally, can you face what might be your greatest challenge of all in Tar'citadel…. dating?

Community Insight:

Love the series but really want the next one. Getting to be the next George rr Martin here.

In a recent update the author said they had written 50k words in the third book. Thats (if im counting correctly) over 3 years after the second book came out. Author keeps taking breaks and making excuses. Dont buy this unless your willing to never play the full story, or at the least wait a very long time for a conclusion. If you want to play this series wait for all the books to come out. Its a good story and has excellent writing, but im starting to doubt if it will ever be complete.

Ive played a lot of these interactive text-based games and this is easily one of the best. From the story to the writing to the characters to the sheer amount of choices! This game, in our opinion, is masterfully written and a must-play for anyone a fan of fantasy and text-based RPGs.

This series remains our favorite–but Lord, waiting for a sequel is like waiting for a new season of Sherlock. Still, the replay value for the first two installments is impressive. While we didn't love every character, we never got bored with the MC or her vampiric best friend. Unlike other CYOA games, which we always enjoy, we've never forgotten the characters of Way Walkers. This game has it all–Harry Potter esque charm, detailed character creation, action and magic, detailed characterization, and a years long plot. If you're a fan of romance you're in for a treat, but the friendships are just as important and interesting (thank goodness!).

This is so well written you get sucked right in to the story. Replayability is good. We just can't wait to see how it ends in WW3! Author, if you ever read these reviews, know that we're willing to pay well to see how this story unfolds.

The author is simply amazing with every ounce of detail throughout the novel we simply could not stop reading, all the different possibilities and ways to choose a path. The story is well written with no dull moments and we cannot wait for the 3rd one.

We first got and played this game in late 2014 and have played it a few times since, but we hope the author did not stop writing this series. We really want to know how it ends.

Really wish there was a third one to finally end the story.

Completely obsessed w Way Walkers!!! Love that you can replay the story a bunch, with completely different outcomes, while creating completely diff protagonists each time. One of the best "choice" stories we've read by far!! Cannot wait of the third installment!!! Love love love.

We loved the first and second part of this game, he characters are very well described and aren't just random people with no names. We can't wait for the 3rd part to finally come out.

Can we just say we love this game. We've replayed this one at least three times now and we're not bored. We love getting to replay and try out all our different options. We can't wait until the third one comes out.

We can't say enough praise for this interactive novel! The world feels wholly realized (pun intended) and the characters are interesting and have in-depth personalities. We were left caring about each one of them and truly wanting to find out more about the extensive fantasy/supernatural world the story takes place in. The way the story deals with concepts like angels/demons, the afterlife, reincarnation and psychic abilities was pure joy. The writing and story was so well done that we felt like we were actually there sharing in the triumphs and tragedies that took place. The choices were extremely well-thought out and there are no good or bad choices. We love that this game uses that in it's narrative. This story has risen to our #1 favorite game from CoG & HG. It's definitely worth the purchase and the wait until the 3rd one comes out. In the meantime, we're buying the book.

We're not sure what we did differently but we got completely different results when doing the same actions we did before. We had a few changes like being in drama for this character and studying fighting instead of past lives but we did that before, we think. Now we have different results from what happened with Jun's him, and with what happened with Cael. We're not sure why but we can't say we're not being given dynamic play throughs.

This is the best choice game we have played. Highly recommended.

Great sequel to the first part. More characters, twists, and turns. Great story can not wait for the final conclusion.

What makes this such a great novel is the level of thought put into it. The author refrained from using "blank characters" (in other words, characters without a name, or people you only see once;space fillers) Every character, in the end, has a very well thought out personality and are NOT space fillers. You really come to adore each and every character (mainly Jun and Semryu, who both have unique personalities… And fan girls…) and depending on your choices, maybe even hate them. (But you still secretly like them anyways ) we personally enjoyed the sequel more so than the first, which is GOOD! With most books, games, or anything actually, the sequel is NEVER as good as the original. The is where J Leigh shines, because she managed to make the sequel just as good, if not better. If its your first time playing Waywalkers, we do suggest you start with the first one, it is still an amazing COG game. And for those of you who are a little Leary about buying the second, well, your missing out on a LOT.

We can't believe there aren't more rating.. We're usually too lazy to write any though we were particularly enticed by this choice based novel. :T we were sad we couldn't be the ownage boy-wonder we wanted, but realism is best. XD.

We're dying to know the ending in WW3, but the last update was over a year ago…is this a dropped project? Because this story is amazing and we'd be super sad if the author didn't finish the series.

A good continuation and well worth the time to play. We're disappointed that it won't be as long as originally intended because its quite immersive and exciting. Though we wouldn't buy if you don't have part one you'll just get lost.

Really fantastic writing and awesome characters! We can't wait until way walkers: university 3! Definitely our favorite series in the Choice of Games library, and we have played quite a few.

This game is definitely worth your time and can't wait for number 3 by the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Way Walker series. So many choices and approaches to make. The writing is top notch. So many laugh out loud moments. The characters are all interesting and diverse. Something we specifically appreciate is that in many choose your own adventure style books the choices are too black and white. IE, if you choose to be friends with x character you won't be friends with another. That isn't realistic and it rail roads you into making choices that you don't want to make. In Way Walkers we never felt that way. We loved that we felt free to make certain choices without having to deal with unrealistic fallout. Hope there is many more books to come.

Definitely worth getting. Honestly we're just waiting for the third.

Lots of detail and great choices the other part we enjoyed was the romance we can't wait for the next way walker 3.

It goes without saying that Part 2 has only made the Way Walkers series even better then before. Characters begin to reveal their true intentions, and danger lies around every corner. Part 2 is as exciting as it is thought provoking. Once again, J. Leigh has outdone herself; we only hope we get to see Part 3 sooner rather then later.

We love the game. Obviously. It's written pretty well. Interesting story. Very memorable. But we think there needs to be an option to make a character that isn't human. Like tazu or ki'ra seems fun. We know it would be a huge update but it would make for more choices and make it more interesting. Only complaint is you have to be human.. Maybe change it for this series. Or maybe the next series you write either way. Would be awesome.

Good sequel! It would be better if it was a add on to the first in stead of a second app, but otherwise perfect.

This really is like an interactive novel! Your choices TRULEY matter, giving you a different but still vibrant story. Giving you different ways to discover and react to brewing trouble. You learn something new each play through! We were very pleased that romance was included in this second part. Only thing we could wish for would be better choice in appearance, as a male character it threw us to read about tossing or straightening our hair.

This game is amazing, the freedom of decision and the story we find this great and cannot wait for the next installation of the series.

We love this series of games and constantly find ourselves drifting into the world. We don't find many stories/games that can keep our attention for any amount of time, let alone a game that we can read and reply constantly. We've fallen in love with each character and play this constantly- Now we're impatiently waiting for the third game (:.

A fantastic game that just about takes your breadth away with all it's ways to go! We love it:D Plus if you aren't satisfied with your game you can restart and go down another road.

We may not have time to always review these games but we love them all. We stay up late often just to see what stories lay ahead and what adventures we may take this time around.

The vast yet flexible narrative of this game is unlike anything else, IOS or otherwise, short of gamebook series like Lone Wolf. The writing is superb, the characters charming, and the world exceptionally fleshed out and captivating. The game is clearly a labor of love and we eagerly anticipate the next entry.

This is honestly one of the most fantastic choice games we've ever played! It's filled with interesting characters and its one the most immersive games we've ever gotten our hands on. Completely fantastic in every way.

Ahem, in order to appreciate this masterpiece of literature we will express ourselves as any Walker would:.

We loved the first chapter of the game and we especially enjoyed this one. It was worth the wait and the cost. We can't wait for chapter three and the final chapter to come out, though we wish there could be more than just four chapters all together.

They did a great job of building plot and characters from the first one. Mistakes and critiques were all improved on in this amazing long awaited and satisfying sequel.

After playing both parts we're super excited for the finale. The different options and hidden content are interesting, we're also thrilled at the option to add in some cute romantic spots. Gotta love Semryu. <3.

We loved the first Way Walkers game, and we also love this one! We stayed up until 1 am playing it.

This one was much better than the last which was more novel than interaction, this sequel made us feel more involved in the outcome of the story. But still kept the idea of immersive story telling that we likes about it in the first place.

This one is very well written, some confusing parts but over all a nice sequel, can't wait for part 3.

This was a lovely sequel to a already great game. We enjoyed all the new content and plot twists. To all the people who say the game is short, try different options. You will be shocked to see how different your play through can be. Either way, we really enjoyed this this game and am looking forward to the next. :).

The game is a bit shorter than some out there but not by much and the different choices you can make (like your romance) don't just feel like slightly altered versions of one another. It helps give this story some great replay value. If we had any complaint it is that the game ends with a rather abrupt cliffhanger.

We love the Way Walkers series and this was an amazing sequel. The writing, along with the characters, are top-notch. We are really excited for the upcoming third and final part.

This is a great sequel to the first! Finally we get some romance! Yay! This is. Bit shorter than the first and it does leave you wanting more but it will NOT leave you unsatisfied! We would strongly recommend even to the cheapest of friends, so if you loved the first your gona definitely love this one! Good luck on discovering all there is to discover! :).

We loved this new installment, we just think it was extremely short! Other than that, great game, can't wait for the next one! :D.

The fist story it keep u in the book, never once did we get bored replaying the game or lost interest in the story the writing was never under great n well it was just AMAZING n there are just too many good thing in the story in the game. To writes in this review n for the WWU2 it the same as the first one BUY IT. If u think the pice is a little too high so did we but once we start read/playing the game we were so happy that we did XD CAN'T WAIT for the third WWU XD.

We enjoyed this second installment immensely, and have already played through it multiple times. If you're a fan of the first game, we'd definitely suggest reading through this one as well. The only downside is that it is short, (shorter than the first), but the writing is still great and detailed and the characters get more developed. We're eagerly awaiting the next game in the series! :) (Assuming there is one, which we'd hope because it ended like there would be more.).

Great expansion to the story. Had us hooked all the way through for multiple playthroughs. Still can't put it down. Only problem was an issue with saving at the end of the "true" ending in a playthrough. We're sure that'll be fixed in no time though.

It was kind of short, but the rest of it was really good.
