Community Insight:
This is the best Pi app. No ads is just 1$. Thats nothing. It helped us memorize from (never doing Pi before) 0 – 150 PI DIGITS IN ONE WEEK!!!! This app really helped us learn Pi. Things that we dont like is that THERE IS NO TIME SWITCHER!!! What we mean is that we could change the time we get to do are Pi. (The time we could change the time that we have to memorize the Pi digits) . So we could change it to 1 minuet, 5 minuets, 10 minuets, 30 minuets, 1 hour, 5 hours, 10 hours and unlimited time. The other thing is that how many Pi digits. So we could change the digits to 10 – 1 MILLION!!!! So in general. This is our favorite Pi app so far. The highest number/10.
We love this app and its practiced and we won pi day throughout our whole grade and got to pie the principal.
Such a fun way to learn! Im having a bit of difficulty accessing the leader board- we think that may be and issue on our end! 10/10.
The app is perfect, we stated about a week ago coming in with 15 digits and now we just hit 100, one thing we really like is that there are rows of ten so we memorize them like they are each phone numbers we also like that you can change the colors because we just like plain all black, the reason we gave it four is because it always is a ten minute timer, we wish it was either like the clock app form apple that you just roll until you get your amount or they just have preset options like 1,10,15,30,60,90 and , because we cant always finish in ten minutes but execpt for that the app is great.
This is helping us learn pi, and we would like to have multiplayer mode. You could set a certain number of digits and whoever recites them all the fastest wins.
There's a lot to like about the design of this. Colors and sounds. Great! 10 minute unforgiving timer? Not so much. We can recite 1,000 digits of pi in under ten minutes, no prob. We can even recite those digits BACKWARDS in 9-12 minutes. But to do so we had to train using other apps. Typing and reciting are two different things, and this app is too unforgiving. One slip and you're out. We wouldn't recommend this to anyone trying to practice learning pi. There's no practice mode. There's no untimed mode. It would be great to unlock achievements at every hundred memorized in untimed mode, and for time scores (100 in under 60 seconds! 100 in under 45! 100 in under 30!) There should be a "flawless" bonus, but also allow two strikes every 100 difits or so. Maybe bonuses for flawless streaks. And last but not least, how about a "backwards" mode, and a mode that tests place value? By that last we mean it asks you what numeral lies at a specific decimal plac. For example: 1? The answer is 1. 2? The answer is 4. 3? The answer is 1. 4? 5 5? 9 100? The answer is 0.
Id like to use this app on a single device with multiple users. It would be great to be able to reset the high score.
This game might be fun if the player could stop the time clock or set it to any setting: 5 minutes, ten minutes, 30 minutes. Instead the game is always a five minute race against time. Since we can recite pi out to 900 digits and like to review occasionally, this game becomes, instead of practice, a typing test. Not fun. We would rather be challenged by our knowledge of pi than by how fast we can hit a keybord.
It took us probably 15 minutes to go from 20 digits to 50.
We recommend this app if you want to memorize the numbers of pi. It took us less than an hour to memorize 99 digits.
This is an amazing way to learn the digits of pi and our goal is to learn the 1,000 digits this app has to offer. The only negative thing is that sometimes it freezes either at the home page of the app or [rarely] while we're in the process of typing the digits. Maybe also more digits would be good.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT, GOT ALL 99 DIGITS OF PI IN THREE WEEKS WHEN we KNEW 0 TO BEGIN WITH.
This app helped us a BUNCH with pi. It took us a week to memorize 40 digits. In 2 days, we've memorized over 20.
This is to who made this, please make the numbers you press bigger because we have already memorized 112 digits and we cannot beat it.
This is a great app but it really needs options to change the entry to a standard touch tone keyboard. Also, the sound made when you touch a number is highly annoying and needs options to something more subtle like a click. Otherwise nice app but please make improvements if you wish people to purchase. Thus spake Zarathustra.
Ok so we're a no life so it's a fun smart game.
This app makes memorizing the first 96 digits amazingly easy and addicting! We are impressed with how much we were able to retain after sitting with the app for awhile.
We would give this app 5 stars if the screen moved down as you put in more numbers. We knew the first thirty or so and downloaded the app to learn more. We learned the other 68 within 15 minutes. Now we really have no use for this app. This app is so good but only needs a minor improvement to be great.
Timing recitation of pi is good. The biggest problem is the keys–too small and too close together. The game may provide a different mode–in addition to counting down, you can timing.
Just poor design IMO. We had a great app on our old phone, and can't find any app that compares. The ads are obnoxious, and it only tells you the next number. We need more than the very next digit to really memorize, and there is no way to change this. Thus, lame app. Just some bare bones code, no bells or whistles in any manner. Don't plan on using it in the future, ever.
