this game for cats helps to keep your cats happy and playful, do not leave them alone just with tablet, play with them anyway *
Please read HOWTO use this app for cats:
- check if there are no disturbing REFLECTIONS from the cats angle of view.
- if your cat constantly switching between apps, disable MULTITASKING gestures in your iPad settings (cat paw contains more segments it is like 5 figers…).
- adjust BRIGHTNESS – remember that cat needs lower values (10-40%).
- game has "Back to Menu button" – Minimize and restore app and Menu button will appear for 5 seconds.
This game for cats is recommended for active indoor cats.
Kittens always jump in action instantly, older or outdoor cats may ignore game, they know it is virtual, you can try it later ideally when your cat gets in hunters mood, mostly about 3am :))
PLEASE REMEMBER: Your CAT IS NOT ROBOT nor TOY with button to activate chase mode. Respect their nature and don't expect that they will do exactly what you have seen on YouTube videos ;)
Mouse for Cats is free game for cats, 11 different mouse skins for every round. Offers more fun than just single laser point… You can support us by purchasing in-app Unlocks and you will get unlocked Mouse for Cats with real sounds, premium mice, multi mouse, set random or favorite mouse, speed, level order.
This game for cats is only for cats, please note:
SKINS ARE NOT REAL, MICE ARE NOT REAL :)
As the real rubber toy is not real mouse and even does not squeak like the real mouse, mice in this game are toys and they are colored for cats – not for humans, same applies for selected sounds – everything was massively tested and it is interesting action game for most cats.
TIP:
Try tap on mouse and move it around to get cat interested in game. Show how to tap on screen, they should follow you. Our cat testers reaching score above 100 in few moments, some of them are able to recognize Mouse for Cats icon and start whole application from the iPad home screen!!
You can try it even on small iPhone, there were nice results too, but game runs best on iPad with retina display.
!
To prevent scratches on the backside of the device, please do not put your device on the hard surface without protection cover!
Carpet or bed are best and safest places.
Cat may have some hard particles on the paws – protection film or tempered glass are recommended too.

Community Insight:
We were really excited to see him engaging so well with is he passed so many levels in just 7 minutes and he was really glued and happy, we give this a 10/10 and we 100% recommend this app for kittens who have short attention spans like min once again thank you.
Our cat loves the game but it keeps lagging we cant see the words below and above, but its a great great game.
Best cat game app ever! Our 3 cats are obsessed and they play for hours uninterrupted! This is a staple in our home! Must have for your kitties.
Our cat really likes to catch it.
No ads, endless play, and every cat we've had over the years loves it. The real deal.
Theres a lot of games out there, but all our cats like this one the best. Theres something very engaging about it. They love the squeaks when the mouse is touched. And the tail motions that mimic real prey.
Our cat absolutely loves this game we lose our phone every time he starts playing it.
Our cat played this game than left us 2 presents and he thought his brother. This game kept our cat entertained, gets his energy out and thought him how to catch mice.
So we got the app thinking our main coon would leave the game but he loves this game.
Our cats love this app. It changes quickly so they cant predict where the next mouse is coming from. Our kitten loves to stand on the screen.
We love this game because we have a kitten and she loves mouses, so thats why we downloaded her this game. No ads on this game. Her name is Lila. And shes a calico and shes a small our friend gave it to us. We just love this game for our cat every single day Im playing on our tablet. She comes on the couch and sits with us. We have a game called Animal Jam and she loves it like controlling stuff but she loves this game better than Animal Jam so thank you for making this game and we love cats by the way Im also a dog person too. Thank you bye.
Our sisters cat absolutely loves and hes a one year old. He went absolutely crazy over this game. We think he played it for about an hour or more because also when it came to the different version of the games we did have to tap on it a couple times just to get him to not be so confused and start to play around with the game. He was very energetic and we think we may have accidentally created a iPad because he kind of was pulling on the strap of our iPad. He was trying to take our iPad for. We dont know if we should get our sisters cat and iPad. Im going to be the one who probably gonna have to pay for it cause hes probably gonna probably try to steal everyones iPad.
All 5 of our cats love it! They finally fixed the issue with the squeak not working as well and the boys definitely appreciate it. Best one we've tried.
We got this game for our cat because we wanted to see if shed like it and now shes an iPad kid she had so much fun playing it and now she has limited screen time because we dont want her on our iPad all day.
Our orange cat, Nobu, is a typical "iPad cat." When Nobu sits down next to us while Im using our iPad, that means its iPad time for him. When the game is on, hell be either waiting to jump on it, diving in paw first or tapping the screen. Miyagi, on the other hand, just watches from a distance, uninterested in the squeaks and chaos Nobu is causing when playing this game. Overall 5/5 game.
He meows so much when shes not home. So she told us to download this for him. We havent heard him meow since. He absolutely loves this game. Hes on level 6 already. Its only been downloaded for about hour now. Be nice if we could upload a short clip so people can see how much they enjoy it. We think hes going to take over our iPad now. Lol.
Let us tell you, this game could end world hunger, this game could create world peace, we can now say our cat has gained confidence all because of this game. We have quite a few cats in this house and they always fight until we found this game they all get along solely for this game. This game is like cat crack it keeps them entertained and they love it. Get it if you have cats.
Our kitten Peanut loves to play this game she absolutely loves it she gets all crazy andattacks it (might need a new IPad soon) we recommend thisfor all cats.
We have not used this game yet!! Our review is purely (after reading the other reviews) going to commend the developer on the greatly applied sarcasm and humor to the incoherent negative reviews. (we always read reviews before getting an app, tends to pay off!) anyway we just downloaded this game but have not gotten to try it out on our cat Sophie yet as its still in the arduous process of downloading. But yeah we seriously respect your comebacks cause it made us laugh so hard XDD.
When we put our iPad with this game in front of her (if shes not sleeping) she starts playing with it a lot! We only turned off the mini games because she just got confused but the single mouse thing she loves! And we think the first one that pops up at the start is her favorite.
This is good for our cat she loves this and gets tricks and think it goes under the hole tablet / | l ` x / | / | | | | | | | | ()) .
At first our cat didnt respond to the mouse, she just watched it but then she started hitting the screen and she ended up playing with it for 20 minutes before she slept.
Our cat loves this game!! Every time one comes wiggling across the screen he moves and attacks it it even works when their lazy! This game made us happy and laugh more people should try this game out its super fun our cats love it Also if u didnt add any ads we would be pretty happy our cats are confused when the ads pop up.
Ive tried so many different games for our cat, and this is the only one she will not stop playing. Every time she sees our ipad she is all over it, and is always down to play this. She puts her little legs under the ipad to try to find the mouse and its so so cute! 10/10 game.
Well, this ruined our cat. He will physically and forcefully attempt to remove our phone from our pocket, our friends phones from their pockets, etc. He will grab the phone out of your hand, he will stick his face right in front of it, nose to screen, and occasionally bite the corner of it if its not releasing the mice. So of course, we had to buy him his own phone. We went to apple and he picked out the most expensive one, after testing the whackability of all of the available models. He will be requiring a cell phone plan soon – no doubt. Be careful showing this game to your cat you will create a cell phone thieving fluffermonster. To summarize: Best cat game ever.
After a few years of using the free version on a decade-old iPad, we decided it was well worth the three bucks to pay for more features. Our old grouchy feral rescue and our two adolescent cats are obsessed. We put the iPad on airplane mode and set our screen timer to stay awake longer because our girl kitties sometimes prefer to watch – like cartoons lol. But when they attack the screen, they get each other riled up. The minigame is a real hit.
Our cat is very interested in this app initially but she seems to become bored because the mouse is too often visible, and she ends up just staring but not attacking. If possible, an option / slider setting to make the mouse hide for longer off-screen and take more time to reappear would be perfect for her. Ideally the mouse would be able to occasionally hide for even a few minutes at a time, since thats the style of play our cat seems to enjoy with real toys. (Waiting and ambushing). This way we could leave the app on for long periods of time without her getting bored of it and finding it too predictable. Another idea could be a mode where the screen goes black after ~10 minutes but can be reactivated by a tap. That way our cat can turn it on when she wants it but it can be blank when shes not interested (this way she doesnt get bored of it seeing it running all the time and stops caring). She already knows to tap her physical toys when she wants to play so Im sure she would learn that tapping the iPad will allow her to play if we leave it running on the floor for her. We know development takes time and labor but we would gladly pay even more for these extra features so that we can tailor the game to our cats personality. Thank you.
Used to work great. Purchased the full version. Now the sound does not work. Checked other devices to verify that it was not just our 1 device or ios. Wish they would patch it, but its been 9 months since an update so we recommend anyone thinking of downloading or buying to wait until this is fixed. ***UPDATE: figured it out – iPad was set to silent which has to be turned on/off in control center. We used to be able to adjust the volume like any other app, but now its tied to ringer volume AND you have to make sure you are not on silent. Upgrading from 1 star but keeping it at 3 – volume control would ideally mirror every other app and be separate from ringer/notification control.
Our 10- year old cat loved this app. He played for hours. We dedicated an old IPad to his play and left it on all the time. That was the best aspect to the game for us. He could always play when he wanted to. We wiped the IPad of everything but this game and recommended it to everyone. But our old IPad had to be restored and the old app we were using was wiped out. The Apple folks updated our 2012!! Gen 3 to OS 9 and we cant run the app anymore. We cant spend hundreds if dollars for a new IPad just for the cat. We suspect we are not alone in turning over an old IPad to a pet. Can we get an older version back.
Our cat loved this game, but all of a sudden it stopped working no sound. We tried restarting our phone resetting the app un downloading it and then re-downloading it.
Why is it all of a sudden asking us for a card? Decided to redownload this game after not having it from our previous cat passing and wanted to share it with our new cat just to attempt to redownloaded it and its now asking for our card information.
Our cat loves to play it on our ipad, but not our iphone. For some reason, the sound doesnt work on it. The squeak keeps him interested. We clicked Menu, and made sure squeak was selected, so it isnt that.
Our cat likes the game but we cant make selections of different mice because the ads cover the content. We have sent this feed back to Google multiple times however nothing ever improves. Its like the ap has been abandoned. Its quite frustrating.
The adds on the game have gotten so large we can no longer customize our mouse because its covered by the ad.
We got an ipad for christmas last year, and decided to get a game for our cat. We sincerely regret our decision not because the app is bad, but because the app is so good our cat has developed a newfound obsession with MY ipad. He has decided it is now HIS ipad and refuses to let us use it. He gets upset if we dont let him sleep on the screen (it is his favorite bed now), he now scrolls thru it when we are using it and messes up messages, we have caught him attempting amazon purchases on multiple occasions. Even as we type this he is swatting at the screen and yelling at us. This is by far the best game we have found for him, he interacts with this one the most. Heed our warning, your furry friend will take over your screens and you will never get to doom scroll without constant interruption again.
We cant even use our iPad in the morning now because they want to play this game for at least an hour. It is definitely a fun experience for them.
The app no longer has sound. Checked settings and volume. What happened? Update: Developer provided instructions on how to fix. Issue was due to IOS bug. Works perfectly now. Thank you.
Our cat was yes a big fan so we tried to get him to play by catching the mouse for him for a little bit. Plot twist we played it more that our cat but we enjoyed it.
This game has no sound. No sound when the mousing is moving. No sound when we hit the mouse. Defective app.
Our cat is quite picky when it comes to game for him but, he actually played this and loved it! Thanks you for making such a great game.
We have a kitten named olive and she loves to mess with our phone when we are on calls or watching videos so we got this game and she loves it in fact this is the only cat cage she will play! We also love that it doesnt cost money to play the simple game it is perfect! Theres different levels to and our cat loves it so much! We should get her, her own phone lol! 5 star forever.
Our cat absolutely loves this app. When she sees our IPad she darts over to it and jumps at the mouse. We thought it was just her so we thought Id try it with our daughters cat. He is old but is mesmerized by the mouse movement and tries to catch it. This is a fantastic game for our kitties. Thanks for developing it.
When we first got the app our 3yo cat wasnt interested in it, hes never been one for screens though. We just got a 8-9 mo kitten though.. She is obsessed. Ive tried a few cat apps but THIS one makes her crazy she will literally play for so long! We do wish the mice wouldnt always run off the screen as she thinks they go under. That being said she will literally bite and claw at our iPad when she wants to play to get us to turn it on, its like a crazy iPad kid lol. Definitely worth the download to try. We feel like its a good enriching activity so we let her do it now and then. Make sure your iPad has screen protector/good case though.
Our cat has become so very bored with her toys and loved this. May have to buy a new iPad so we can actually use it! If we are in our iPad, she will love around to see if its her game. Then we turn it on and she goes nuts, flipping and flopping trying catch the mouse once it heads off screen.
Our cat, Petra, cant get enough of this game. Its like electronic catnip. When the game is not running she paws at the home screen of our iPad but, so far, has been unable to find the app and get it running. Just as well. The cost for the full featured version is very reasonable so, of course, we paid.
Review from Murphy, the crazy little cork-tailed cat: This app will is amazing! Mom installed it on her iPad and is now regretting it. We love this app! It is fun and engaging to paw at and stomp on mice as they run across the screen. When we catch one under our paw, the mouse stays stuck there until we lift our paw. Mom says that the problems start when she turns off the iPad or when she needs to use the iPad ad for herself. We know there are still mice in there, so we keep pawing at the iPad. Mom says we should limit our app time or take a break from the app for a while. We dont agree with her. We need to get those mice.
We absolutely love this and so does our cat but other cats says other wise. So we got this app because our cat was becoming shy and not playful like he used to, but after we got this app he started viciously attacking the mice. We really thought nothing of it until he started fighting the other neighborhood cats which usually he loved playing with. We thought it was just a faze and it would pass but we thought wrong #be careful.
No words its amazing but it would be cool if you added more mouses amaZing game tho our cats love this 1000/5.
Our cat Mischief (yes, that is her name) loves this game. It took her a minute to figure out but when she played she loved it until she tried to look behind the phone and saw nothing, which then leaded to her questioning everything to ever exist lol. In all reality our cats both live this game and the sound it makes when they tap it is very stimulating for them and also the way it moves around. Hope this helped.
This is a very great game, we were looking for a good game that our cat would actually play with and this one is great! All of them werent great but he loves this. We set it down on the floor and we see him staring and biting the screen! We think this is a very nice game :>.
