Why cant we run over people now.
We cant believe after years of this game getting 0 updates its finally happened. P.S. We read your response and we didn't give it a high rating since there still are some things in the game we don't like, unlocking guns, small amount of guns and cars, and the old map was pretty good, we don't know why youve changed that but we're sure well get used to it. Hopefully we can have the game modes we used to play on the old block city wars.
We love the new car and character animations, along with the new map that has been added to the game, however we dont believe what was lost in the update completely outweighs those new features. We miss our old weapons that Id lost such as our grenade launcher and golden shotgun, and the game just doesnt feel the same without items such as those. We also miss our completely maxed out Limousine with a full flame decal. We think the game wouldve been even better if yall hadnt scrapped much of the previous mechanics, but instead either added new ones or refined them. We still love the game, but we personally believe much of the older features were better. Nonetheless, we know nothing about game development or the process of revamping old features, but if it were us giving the game a do-over we definitely wouldve kept many of its amazing original mechanics.
We like the game but this is a whole different game, what we mean by that is that it couldve been made another game instead of replacing the old one if you know what we mean, because we had a ton in the old version and all of that is lost, but its a good game tho.
Ive played this game for years, and if the devs can make a good game once, they will do it again. The player base was only fading away in 2018 you had to queue and wait for a game because of too many players, in 2023 you had to queue to wait for the minimum amount of players to arrive, so obviously the game needed a revamp. Its hard for these other reviewers to let go of their nostalgia, but that doesnt mean the new game is bad. Im sure the devs are planning on adding more guns and fun stuff. Ignore the nostalgic players and keep new updates rolling out. The old game rarely updated so its refreshing to see the devs finally awoke from their coma.
Ive always loved block city wars, but the new version is just an upgraded pixel gun. Personally we think they should bring back the original version as a mini game, or at least an other option the new version is just to complicated and. Well kinda scammed Anthony Oswald.
Guys the new update just made it a to similar to pixel gun 3d ok maybe that was a little rude but this should have been a different game please we have on our tablet and phone we updated it on our tablet and compared the 2 they have no similarities the old block city wars is a classic game the new is just not that good its just not the same make this a different game ok we played a little we mean its but still it should have been a different game we just logged onto the old block city free fight server the most the most popular one no one is there everybodys updated it empty Empty the old block city wars is dead.
We dont like how it looks. We lost everything all our hard work gone Im not going to spend five weeks grinding all over again.
We get that you guys wanted to change your game and make it new and advanced or whatever. Well, we lost all our progress, the new map is terrible and just generally everything is ruined.
Hopefully we liked this game and even created our own clan but the only problem now is developers dont update IOS for a week already as we remember, do something with it, or answer please with delay is so big when for example Brawl stars has almost no delay.
Hey guys, we wish you will add back cars like: That old Winter Truck, Taxi car and others old cars. And please add back some cool guns, like lightsaber and other cool things! We wish that we will have an Exclusive Winter Event with exclusive prises like before. You can remade from old guns to a new models and better. And about Winter Event, we wish you will add it. It is so cool getting exclusive items!;).
We like the game story missions makes a lot more fun.
It was a great game but with this new update its better but we dont like how we need to restart. For people for never the game it will be great but for old players. It wouldnt be the same.

When we first played this game we were 8 years old Im now 14 and still play it. This game was our whole childhood and seeing the new upadate was like taking away that childhood but then we remembered that other kids from this generation might experience this game in the new upadate and have fun memorys just like we did when we were kids. We think its time we give this game a rest. Thank you to all the people that made this game possible you all are some great people. Our love and support.
We feel like there is not enough mythic guns.
We love the new update and all but we will miss the old version with the ai world and the zombies with the zombie infection and the prison.
We HATE THE NEW UPDATE TO BLOCK CITY WARS IT USED TO BE MY FAVORITE GAME NOW we DELETED IT AFTER THE NEW UPDATE CHANGE IT BACK.
We played the original game for a long time, at least 500+ hours. We were really excited for 2.0 since it looked so good. 2.0 is really fun but would work better as a separate game from the original since its very different from classic BCW, it even has different progression and lacks all of the classic guns. We and many other old players would really enjoy 2.0 being a separate version of the game so people who enjoy original block city can still play it, and those who enjoy 2.0 to get their own separate game. This really means a lot to us and many other times players so we hope you take this into consideration.
This game is really fun but the older version is we dont like the new version because it restarts you and the characters arent the best looking also the old version was just wayyyy funner but over all its a pretty fun game.
Although we miss the old game. Which would give us a lot of nostalgia from playing with our friends to play with our siblings. We are glad this game has finally had an update because there used to be no buddy active, and no one to play with when we would re-download this game. Im glad to see new people enjoying it. Its just in our opinion, the old version of the game was better.
The new version it good and all but it can definitely get some improvement like for example we feel like it way too hard and the weapons you need to get them by an pass and then still pay for them which is fine but just annoying also you can still get damage even when your in the car? It just ruins an bit of the old block citys wars fun things.

Can you add the old skins back along with the old game modes the new game is on but the old one was our childhood and we at least wanna see the skins and the old zombie mode back.
After pixel gun took over the game feels soulless and sold out. They took everything unique about in and removed it. Now it is just another team battle wanna be. And to the developers. Please bring back something resembling the old game. It doesnt need to be much. For example bring back the old death. Or make the menu some what resemble the old one. Or if you really want to make it better bring back tanks. And lastly if you had any progress with your previous account it was completely removed. But it is not currently known if they will fix that or leave the old accounts behind If anyone else has any criticism please make them know the developers are still in development.
Ive been playing this game off and on since 2018, and the new update made it feel like a new game its different we think the new update is good for the game old players like us will never forget the older versions but if the game will get updates Im for it we hope the new update got rid of hackers cheaters etc but we wish the new update had the old graphics.
Since the last huge update our favourite pixel game with tonns of cool guns, tonns of cool cars, secrets, quests, locations, cases, minigames, simple interface and coins around the map became a more gta-looking game, and we don't like it. It had it's own nastolgyc atmosphere before, but now the only thing that left here from Block City Wars is some buildings. Why don't you return thiss app to a previous version and create a new one called "Block City Wars 2" or something like that? Or rename this app and create the same one but on the previous version and call it "Block City Wars: Classic"? And why Tony Blockshot is not so fat anymore.
We remember playing this when we were younger, and we decided to download it just for the memories. Its completely changed, we dont like it anymore, this used to be our favorite game, please bring it back to what it was before.
BRING BACK THE PRIME BCW (2018) HOW DO YOU RUIN SUCH A GOOD GAME THIS BAD.
This game is our childhood. We thought this game was never gonna update im so happy this game updated.
This new, long awaited update brought us not only what most of the player base wanted, which was the old school BCW feel of 2014-18, this update brought us new and improved tweeks to gameplay and all around game mechanics. It retains the same old detailed feel of the old style BCW, with a great new twist that you just have to feel for yourself. The new animations and mechanics are great to work and play with. A reboot update was exactly what we needed after a practical development abandonment, and the devs did not disappoint. Games often arent great at launch, but the good ones that are developed by a team that cares usually prospers than the latter, developes into a timeless classic that cant be reproduced in the same way again twice. We have high hopes for the future of this game. Play on.
Its really fun game. Well the old version was the new version. Good just not as good as it used to be.
Bring back the old block city wars.
This game really was a part of our childhood growing up, Ive seen most stages of this game (we have been playing for 7 years) and its really nice that you pixel gun developers decided to help bring this game back to life, butttt Ive played pg3d for about a year then quit because of how in order to be good, you have to become a sweat and spend half of your rent to get good guns. But the worst thing Im scared of for bcw is try hards from pixel gun coming to bcw with their crab claw techniques or whatever they call it to hold their phone. Please leave the controls like the original version so people dont use that technique, its really annoying and it just ruins the chill experience. Please take this into consideration and thank you for your time (also as a weapons enthusiast, the Angled Grip for the golden MP5 is on backwards).
Its got less stuff, but thats to be expected with an update like this. They pretty much overhauled the game. Now it has a story, and hopefully one that actually gets finished, unlike pg3ds story mode. All we gotta say after that is that the lack of content is worth this update.
The game is great but should release on computers, consoles, and have controller options, thats it. The game continues on the lore from pg3d in the campaign which we love, only thing we dislike is crouching, which is only like an inch difference in height.
We low key miss the old version we were so excited to get a update but now its like gta and not the game we remember playing when we were young, still a good game, but it didnt remember anything we did so we are a newbie now all the progress is gone but its alright.

Love the new update, great feel, feel like Im gonna enjoy it, but like everyone else though, Im a little salty about what has happened to our stuff, we grinded quite a bit and bought a few In app purchases, will we get any of our money converted to something worthwhile, will we get compensation for wasted hours on this game? Like whats going on, you cant just drop this and not give an explanation on whats happening to everyones account numbers, ranks, gear, etc.

The game was pretty cool and we were excited for the new clolab with PG 3d but the update came out and we lost all our progress from Block city wars and now Im not too happy with it please give us our stuff back.
We kinda wish we had the old block city wars like 4.1.1 or 4.4.1 u know.
So basically Cubic games decided to basic change the entire game and isnt like it was before. Different style, different look, different everything. At least keep up the original game up and release this as a sequel.
Made our childhood with this game.
We first got this game when we bored and just downloading every game that looked mildly interesting on our kindle fire, we used to play this game almost every day. We met some of our(to this day) best friends Ive ever had, we remember we would convince everyone to go to the island off to the side of the map and we would have huge gunfights. We would do anything to go back to those days. Thank you for all of the memories this game gave us.
The game is so good we dont even have words.
