Our absolute favorite game right now. It takes the fun and concept of home run derby-type games and puts it into a situation where instead of hitting middle-middle BP balls youre taking a live AB against a very challenging pitcher. This gives you the best of both worlds, the tension and challenge of the at bat are very real. The physics are very realistic and we could play this game for hours. Once you get a sense of the game you will be hooked on the grind.
Love this game. For the haters, we can see though how impatient brain dead types who need constant titillation and stroking might not be able to enjoy something that requires thinking and nervy patience to enjoy, like baseball, and this Inning Eater game. Love how the pitchers have their own special pitches and how well they seem to set you up to go after a bad pitch that they made look good. Only minor complaint we have is that too many hits that land inside the foul line are called fouls. The close call pitches we dont understand are like playing real baseball we guess! :).
We were looking for a good baseball game to simulate a batting experience and this one is a winner. Its a fun game that gives some ability to select and time good pitches to hit. It could be even better with a few changes: -Provide a batter point of view option. This would definitely step the game up a notch. -Move the fences in – left field seems to be about 360-370 ft, power alley about 390-395. This is much further than an average MLB stadium. -Improve the calls on the edge of the zone. Could be the glove placement but some of those pitches on the upper outside and lower middle zone do not appear to be strikes. In a game where taking a strike can really make a huge difference this would be useful to tighten up. -The crowd details are great but theyre all identical young white men which then makes the details then seem awkward. Theres not one woman or person of color to be found – players too.
So we like games where you actually play ball not just hit a dang ball over and over and over again.
This game is definitely a one of the best baseball games out there in our opinion but it is missing a pitching mechanic. We also like the AI pitching physics because they are very realistic and pretty decent to hit. But we digress. The game would be improved a lot if there was a pitching mechanic but other than that if you are on the fence about getting this game you should definitely try it.
The pitching seems quite accurate in it’s depiction of real life. Good concept.

It is what it is as far as it goes. It’s good way to pass a few minutes taking a few swings. Physics are pretty good and you get a little rush when you knock one out.

We appreciate this game, it can get monotonous sometimes kind of like grinding in an NES RPG but its fun and certainly addictive. The best part of this is that it mimics real pitching, and the ball flies in a realistic manner. Also Its so refreshing to have a slightly overweight, batter with a really outdated goatee at the plate who looks more like what an actual baseball player looks like than one of these muscle bound pretty boys in other games. There cheers and three stars.
Fun. Gets little old as when u get to higher levels and obtain better power etc….it never changes that much. Shows your new power is like 3x what u currently have but you really do not.
We really like this game. Our only suggestion is to make an option to play with people who are your same level. Great game.
But we agree that a swing may not register on a fastball down the middle.

Most realistic batting game we’ve found so far. Even when you start to figure out how to score and hot well, the game throws you a curve and challenges your hitter’s eye. Easy to play but hard to master. You will show signs of brilliance and then feel like a little leaguer the next round. Awesome reality for a game.
It’s a fun game 2 play but sad 1 heart for 20 min so we don’t play that much.
The graphics is ok but the thematic of the game is really good. Hope in the future the development team will make a design behaviors, uniforms, etc. Good job.

This is by far the best batting game available. You have to learn to take pitches that are balls and swing only at pitches that are strikes. Hitting homeruns is very hard. Super fun. If they made a pitching game that looked like this and had good controls we could die happy. Please make a pitching game.

This game is addictive but we hate it because there will be a pitch straight down the middle of the strike zone and we’ll swing and it does not register. We would blame our iPad but it’s new. Also, we hope you add player vs player leagues along with pitching to counter the batting. In the pvp leagues the we hope you will add, we wish that instead of the if you hit the ball into the infield or into the foul territory that it is a foul thang, we could maybe have players in their position and still kept original as a mode. This is just a few suggestions and you do not need to add them all or even one and if anyone else agrees then write more reviews about these. But overall this is a addictive game.
Although a tad repetitive it makes for a quickfix time waster in a cinch! For the sequel (or a big fat update) the game developers should have pitching in there, where you alternate between that and batting for an overall score…better yet if they incorporated that AND realtimr multiplayer then they could charge a lil for the game because we and many others would pay gladly imo.
We really like the the selection of pitches the pitcher throws, the curve looks like a curve.
Good batting game…but it’s missing something…it needs maybe another bonus…possibly a slow ball right down the middle if you achieve six straight non-swings or balls…? But it is very addictive time and fun.
