What Makes Doors & Keys Stand Out

If you've ever opened a door in your life, then you're completely qualified to play this simple, frustrating, and outright addicting game!

Doors:
1) You are presented with two colored doors. One is locked and the other is unlocked.
2) Tap a door to open it. If it's locked, game over. If it's unlocked, you advance to the next level!
3) Repeat.

Keys:
Every 5th level has two doors of the same color. Both are unlocked, but one has a colored key behind it. If you get the key, it sits in your key inventory until you tap on a locked door of that color. The key will unlock that door and disappear from you inventory. You can earn keys by sharing Doors & Keys on social media or by visiting the Doors & Keys Store.

The Skeleton Key: This is a very special key that requires the 4-solt upgrade. Once you have a Skeleton Key, you can automatically unlock any locked door if you don't already have its key. The best part is, the Skeleton Key lasts for five unlocks!

This Puzzle game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

We love all his apps for multiple reasons. 1. We love how creative & unique they are. 2. We love how easy his apps are to use. You can tell a regular person made these apps with the users in mind. 3. We love how the creator is interactive with the users. He writes little notes, makes videos of him talking for the users to watch, walks you through everything, etc. Great apps, all free, all easy to use & all entertaining.

This game was definitely designed to be frustrating!! But once we start playing it, we keep trying over and over and over! Fun little guessing game.

Nothing has been made like this and yeah its frustrating but its really mind busy.

Its very easy to let time slip away in this game! All you want to do is collect keys and open all the doors its hard to not keep playing.

Was skeptical at first, but this app definitely does the job in keeping us distracted.

A Fun addition to addictive and simplistic gaming . If we need to kill time we enjoy this game and it never seizes to amaze and frustrate us . We love it.

This app is very frustrating as many other have pointed out, but it does its job and distracts you. We set here and play nonstop just to play.

It does exactly what we need it to do.

Great game! Really helps with addiction.

Easy to refocus mind and energy.

Yes it is frustrating in a good way but is your wanting to keep yourself occupied from an addictive habit, this will do it.

The app does what is meant to do. Keeps you busy and clear mind.

This game can entertain for hours.

The game is just as advertised. It's nothing more than a way to refocus your mind. No strategy and no hints, just doors to open. With addiction sometimes you just need something mindless and simple to keep from giving in to your addiction.

It is frustrating. It is meant to be frustrating. We are sober. Everything seems to be in order….. Wahoo.

This keeps our mind occupied when we're feeling anxious. Great job.

It's very frustrating, as it's supposed to be, and actually pretty helpful in being distracting from relapse.

Play and have fun but like they said you will be frustrated.

It's hard but such as life. Hey it's how we deal with life, when one door closes another opens.

This game is so easy. We beat while painting our toenails.

Exactly what you downloaded it for…tapping doors.

Yes, this is frustrating as it was intended to be, but it is simple to play and sometimes we just don't want to think all that much.

Frustrating, for sure, but we're grateful that these guys are putting their time and energy into things that take us out of our thoughts for enough time for a craving to pass.

This app is kinda frustrating but it does keep your mind focused on the game. When your minds going to the wrong places click on this app and find the open door.

It is really simple and it may sound dumb but it really is a addicting lol great game!! We played for a while and couldn't stop lol.

It's simple to learn. You are literally just tapping doors and trying to figure out which one is the correct one. This app is a sister app to the sobriety counter nomo. It's a great distraction if you feel yourself slipping towards a relapse. There are purchase options for keys to open the incorrect door choices, and the game has a couple chances to win some keys, too.

Yup frustrating, now gimmie a key.

Pretty cool because you know it's going to be frustrating and annoying, but you play it anyway.

But it's a really good distraction.

We love this frustrating app and you should also check out nomo by the same guys. Lil' guys doing great BIG things.

We love this idea it really helps take your mind somewhere else.

But.. That's the point. It's meant to occupy your thoughts to allow cravings or environmental situations pass. Interesting concept.

The subtitles under asking for a review got us. Love the app. Does it's job. Love "nomo" as well. Stay safe.

As it promises it will frustrate you. But it simply does its job to diverge your thoughts and keep yourself on track.

This app definitely helps us shift our thoughts. Simple, but fun.

Fun but very frustrating good time killer its OK.

Right. It is frustrating but its just tapping on the right door.

Definitely frustrating but got the hang of it.

It'll keep you occupied for a while that's for sure! Mindless chance is what you get here. No clues, no cheating, just a 50/50 coin toss. Sometimes you win, sometimes not.

Very frustrating and yet oddly addictive. Strangely successful. Lol.

Pretty basic. It's kinda addicting though. Cute game.

First time playing so far enjoying.

But that's the point, isn't it? Go check out Nomo if you're struggling with addiction.

This game is meant to distract and take your mind off of the challenge of those moments of addiction when you want to give in and it does just that. We don't think it's meant to be super complicated, just a much needed distraction. We also really like nomo Thank you for helping those of us struggling with addiction.

So, it's supposed to be frustrating. It definitely does that. Can't figure out the point. It's just a flip-of-the-coin guessing game of luck and chance.

Frustrating for sure there's really no clues.

The game is insanely frustrating, however that's the point since we're so mad we can't eat it right we get distracted from our thoughts. Try it out.

This game is awesome for keeping our mind occupied and away from temptations of addiction. Love it.

Well, the game is supposed to be frustrating, so the creator isn't wrong about that. We just wish there were some clues along the way. It's hard to want to keep playing a game that has no strategy or real point to it (other than to be frustrated). But, we give it 4 stars because it accomplishes its promise to be frustrating.

Trying to keep our mind off temptations–great idea. Love the menu screen setup and the sounds.
