We used to play this game all the time on our iphone 5s. Redownloaded and the ads are truly awful. There is an ad when you open the game, while you play, and when you lose the game. The one when you lose usually has sound which is annoying if youre listening to music. Will be deleting.
Challenge 56 is bugged. We have collected way more than 7 crystals but it freezes on 3. So we cant complete the challenge. Other than that we really like this game.
This game was our favorite years ago and we redownload it on a whim to relive the good ol days. Its a great game, the exact same as we remember. Except for one glaring issue: there are too many ads. Every single time we die its another stupid a*s add and it makes playing the game incredibly unenjoyable. Had this game for less than a day and it was already way too much. We will say though that this is a problem most games have these days, but this one really pushed us over the edge.
We literally have had this game installed on every phone ive bought for as long as we can remember amazing game.
Solid game! Just couldnt find anywhere else to report this bug: The duels dont seem to get any more difficult after the first bird, which we dont recall being the case around 2016 when we last played this. Even the last bird throws itself on the spikes after ~4-10 rounds. Aside from that, the second to last bird (duel 59, heart eyes bird) doesnt provide the expected candy reward when you win. Instead, the game seems to indicate a tie, giving five candies, which shouldnt be possible given how the duel system works. After defeating the final bird, the game seems to forget that you defeated the last two, and the cycle repeats on bird 59. The last bird gives the full 300 candy reward though, so its a pretty nice way to farm candy (dont get rid of this lol just make the last bird harder so it feels like you earn the reward each time). Lastly, after finishing duel number 60, the option to continue to the next duel still exists, but it doesnt do anything. Makes sense that it doesnt do anything, but we're not sure why the button would be there. Anyways @Ketchapp, let us know if theres an email we can report this to. Ill give phone and iOS details too.
Bruh we couldnt see the spikes its pretty fun on iPad tho.
We havent played this game for that long but its quite enjoyable for us. It has many different game modes and the quests make it a lil more challenging. One complaint, though. When you first enter the game, you get an ad in the middle of your game, causing you to lose. If this gets fixed it will be a great game.
This used to not be an issue, but now we can be in the middle of a game and an ad will pop up and cause us to lose. We dont mode the ads before or after a game, but ads during are extremely disappointing. So if you want to play a game that causes you to fail at reaching your high score, this is the game for you.
We've loved this game since we were in elementary school, it's one of the first apps we downloaded on our iPod. We still love it today! However recently we've noticed a lot of lagging in the middle of games, and we also cannot get the duels to work. Whenever we click on the first duel, both birds fall to the bottom of the screen and freeze. We've tried restarting the app, changing our WiFi, changing our bird, nothing works lol.
All of the progress we made was deleted, and the duel mode doesnt work. We had this game for 2 years.
Its a fun game with a lot of variationsbut too many ads disrupt the gameplay & seriously wish you could turn the sounds off. And if theres a way to do that already then make it easier to figure out. Unplayable with the sounds.
Im on a completionist mission to unlock every bird, but we cant get the 120 challenges bird despite having completed all available challenges. Very upsetting :(.
Ive just redownloaded this game, and it doesnt fit on our iPhone 15 screen? Like we cant see the spikes. We dont know what thats about. Please help.
Ive been coming back to this game for years now, we love its simplicity compared to the mobile games today. The gameplay loop is addicting and theres lots of different modes so you can switch it up when you get bored. We hope Ketchapp keeps this game accessible for years to come.
We used to be obsessed with this game when we you in 1st and like 2nd grade, and recently came back to it. Honestly such a addictive game, Ive been playing it nonstop. Great game.
Its true. Every so often we open this game and play it. It worked perfectly on all our old phones, the last phone we had before this being the iPhone XR. Now Im on the iphone15 (just the 15. Not the plus, pro, or max) and we cannot see any of the spikes on the left, right or bottom. We can only see the top spikes In a game originally titled avoid the spikes, you can presumably see why itd be a problem to not see the other sides spikes.
Its actually wonderful! Im just bothered a bit by the ads. When you enter the game. You just tap the screen immediately, right? Well, you will die after 1 second by an ad that pops up. The ad doesnt even take the whole screen, it just covers most of the center of the screen. Either way, this is wonderful experience and please add more skins or challenges. And please make more duels plus them being way harder. Until it reaches 50 or something! We love this! Its a great game to calm down and pass time fast by playing this. Its an awesome game that doesnt need internet. :3.
This is like our number one game to play while waiting for the bus, its a whole lot of fun. But since a new update, Ive been experiencing both a lot of stuttering on offline mode as well as the wonkier physics and adjusted candy numbers just kind of make it a bit less intuitive/dexterous and more like luck. We find ourselves spending less than five minutes at a time w it now when we would usually at least be using it for 10-15 while listening to a podcast and we think its cause runs end so quickly with these new changes.
The new update messed up the layout of some of the words and sizing on font and made game play laggy and the candies are broke ( it changes the candy color before its suppose to. The orange changes to blue before 25 and the blue changes to pink before 50.).
The new update completely overhauled the games perfectly fine mechanics and made it much less smooth. It also made all the birds free, and there is no point in even getting gems or diamonds anymore. Also it is hard to score high now with the new mechanics because the hitboxes are so big now, but it keeps the old high score? Please fix your game, it used to be awesome.
We had this years ago and loved it, we download it again and we cant see the side spikes on our 15 plus.
The screen resolution is messed up and now you cant see the spikes.
Most ketchapp games arent this add filled. Super unfortunate this one is because the gameplay is truly gripping and intense l.
You guys made it too slow with the new update, the mechanics didnt need changing, we loved the gradually getting faster now its boring staying at the same speed.
We think this is a good game, but sometimes we experience a bit of lag. It has gone two years without an update and is still fun! Ive brainstormed a few ideas that we think would be a fun edition to the game, so here are our ideas. Lets get the obvious ones out of the way: More achievements, (as promised), more avatars for your character, (there are already hundreds of more skins that you see in the game but arent in the shop), and finally, more duels, (up to at least one hundred.) Then we thought there could be a new mode that would go out-of-the-box of the usual game, but would still be fun to play: A naturally generated maze that you could go through. It would use the same mechanics of the game but using it to progress forward into an expanding room or a hall with twists and turns and spikes on the floor, ceiling, and walls. Its a little hard to explain and out-of-the-box for the game, but we think it could be an interesting addition. We know there has been a lot, but we have one of the most important ideas we havent shared yet: A multiplayer dueling mode. We saw you were going somewhere with the already existing mode where there are two sides you can tap on so you can play with your close friends, but it would be taking it to the next level by transforming it into a multiplayer mode. You could have a choice where you could choose how many stars you need to get to win, and if you want it on the hard mode or cave mode. We are fine with you making the multiplayer mode however you want, but we think it would be awesome to have something similar in the game. If youve made it here, thank you for reading all of this. We play this game all the time when Im going on a vacation and we bring our iPad with us, it definitely deserves five stars.
This game is very fun, has many levels, multiplayer, and we personally love the duels.
This is a great game and we used to play this all the time as a kid. We recently got a watch and we stumbled upon this game again which brought back so much nostalgia. We looked to see if we could get it on our watch and sadly we couldnt even though this would be the perfect game for a watch. If you could add a watch version that would be great! We hope you add it, thank you.
Ive Loved this game for so long but we could never remember the name of it. So after 6 years of not playing it we finally downloaded it again and now we see that all the birds are free. That completely took all the fun we had playing as a kid. Theres no reason to collect candy or diamonds if all the birds are free.
The game is vary addictive. And fun whole bunch of bugs mens pop up in the middle of the game and the game stop playing. And we will just randomly freeze which causes us to close a game and reopen. Overall really fun game 4/5 because a bunch of bugs.
Ive had this game many years ago and got back into it with a fresh new account. Comes to find out that ALL the birds were auto-unlocked, however HALF of the birds were / are COMPLETELY missing- ex. Soccer ball, darth vader head, etc. Which used to be there years ago along with many many others Still a good game, just wondering what happened especially since there hasnt been any update logs about this.
Ive been playing this and other Ketchapp games for years, theyre a great developer! Ive recently noticed that spikes doesnt have a sound off button like other games. We feel like it used to, especially considering the majority of other games from Ketchapp do have it. You also cant buy birds anymore. They are all already unlocked, and a lot of birds are no longer there. We still enjoy playing the game, we just wanted to voice these 2 and only grievances. =).
So finally after 5 years they fixed the resolution glitch but now when you open the bird store they just made the birds free. We would be fine with this, however they did not make all the birds available and a lot are missing. Basically, they now made it so you cant spend candy to unlock birds anymore which is what made the game fun and have progression but they just took that away with this update. So you have nothing to work towards to unlock and we cant get the bird that we used to have anymore. For instance there was a red spiked bird that had black stars following the trail and they took that away. We hope they fix this and allow us to spend candy to unlock birds again.
They made all the birds free and you have nothing to work for.
New challenges are coming soon! 5 years later and In still waiting for said challenges dont abandon such an iconic game for goodness sake! Please add new challenges.
Dont get us wrong. We love this game. Its very fun. However, the previous update made a set of 40 or so birds unlocked for all, and removed all the others. This completely removes the point of the currencies in the game, making it sort of pointless. Please fix.
Idk if its just us but the game gets sooo laggy and freezes. Its really annoying bc we feel that this isnt a very big game and it should lag and crash as much as it dose.
We had loads of birds and they were the best until the update. We had the green robot bird, now its gone. Why take away cool birds when updating. The game is fun because you get more birds, and there were so many! Now candy and crystals are useless. Whats the point? Please bring back the other birds and dont make all of them free.
We really loce this game, but recently it seems like you've removed the new birds…we mean the ability to purchase new game and we don't understand what's the point of collecting candies if we can't get something with them.
Ive been obsessed with this game for a few years now. One of the best parts of the game for us was completing challenges and earning coins to unlock all the birds. We were so close to unlocking them all and we went on the app yesterday and all our birds were gone. There must of been an update so now instead of unlocking birds you get a selection of a few when you download the game. It kinda makes us uninterested in playing the game now because there is nothing to work towards. Im sad.
We use to love this game and trying it get all the birds but now they are just all unlocked at the start and there are no longer as many so we kind of have no reson to keep playing. We still do but only because this is like the one game we have that we can play without internet so other than that we dont play.
We cant bring ourselves to give this 1 star because this is forever one of our favorite apps, but the most fun part was unlocking all of the birds. Please change it back.
The game itself is overall really fun. Its easy to learn but hard to play, and theres a ton of variation to the same idea, so it doesnt get old. There are a few issues though. 1. The game tries to load in an ad every time you open the app. Which would be annoying, but tolerable, if it actually worked, but around 85% of the time, it just freezes and you have to close out and reload the app to try and see if itll work this time. It probably wont. 2. The gems you collect in the cave are useless. A long while ago, you could pay for birds with them, but since all birds are now free, they are entirely useless. You can still use the other two currencies, candies and diamonds, to upgrade your park though, and you can use candies to upgrade your headlamp for the cave. This is a much less bothersome issue than the ads though. Overall, really fun if you can get it to work, but its really hard to get it to work nowadays.
The birds are now all free, so there is almost no incentive towards this game. We loved collecting candy to earn new birds… If the candy store is back our rating would be a five.
We just want to turn the sound effects off and the app now wont let us.
Honestly, we love the game. Im considering deleting it though because there are so many ads. There is an add played after almost every game. It makes it so much less appealing.
They need to bring back the store how it used to be thats what made it fun to play trying to unlock all the different birds really disappointed.

The whole point of the game is unlocking birds, they took most of them out of the game for some reason so now theres no reason to play. We were one of the OGs, we were around before they even had candy or other birds in the first place. Game was really fun when they added all the new stuff. Came back lately to realize they took away most of the birds and unlocked everything (there were still some we hadnt unlocked before so we know they unlocked them for us) why do this? It just completely kills the fun and takes away the main purpose in the game.
Misleading update. Ive been playing this game on and off for many years and there used to be unlockable birds for candy, gems and diamonds – but now theyre gone, and we only have a handful of the birds left. Where did all our birds go? Bring back the birds.
There is no point in playing this game now. The devs are a-holes.
