Community Insight:

Fun to play a game from the past that requires knowledge and strategy of tower defenses when games like Wintermaul was popular. How to win? It is possible to beat game without buying stars. Just need the right maze. Our tip. Use purple stars to get tower upgrades and than magnet to just make collecting stars easier. We beat the game with the first two towers as they both become very powerful once upgrades to max. Good luck, have fun. And get a good laugh if you make it to endless lvl 55.

This game is very well done. While, it does not have as many game modes as the original version, it is a very faithful recreation. We especially love that there are no in app purchases, or over bearing ads. Just a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen when youre in the main menu. The only thing we think would be nice is if we had an ability to save a maze setup, to help with replay ability. Or to full refund during the initial maze setup before the creeps come in.

We tried the upgrade shop then we found buy or shop cant remember but the text if you try if crazy funny so PS we thought the shop was more upgrades LOL.

We would give this 5 stars JUST for not adding garbage MCD into the title! With that said, it is actually a good clone of the origional desktop version, much better than other versions out there. Our only gripe is we wish there was some map variety available, but that is small issue in the end.

Reminds us of some of the original TD games we ever played, now on mobile.

We love this game. It's just like the original one that was on Flash that we played years ago.

Solid design. No Glitches. No in-app purchases. We like the little message that comes up if you try to buy stars.

Addictive little game. Very cool. This little game is awesome dude.

This game is simple but difficult and fun enough! It's kind of addictive.

Cool tower defense game where you can strategically position several towers on the board which will determine how you can shoot the wave of invaders. This game will give you countless hours of fun.

Nice port of the original online game. Barely any adds, works very well with touch functionality, and a very fun. Thank you so much for making this. 5/5.

Plus it looks retro so that makes it extra good.

Great idea and design! Love it.

This game is awesome when we just need to veg. Quick to learn, takes time to perfect.

With Flashs long phase out, due to security and other reasons, it is a shame the original developer has not ported it to iOS himself. This is the closest to the original, but created when both flappy birds and coin thumb-collecting were hot. The former is not an issue, the latter is annoying to anyone over the age of nine. Since this game has not been updated since 2017, this is most likely the final version. Still, it is mostly true to the original and plays very well.

We've always enjoyed strategy games. We got hooked on tower defense style several years ago, but then life happened && we found ourselves too busy to "play games". Now that life has settled down; we found this version and am very pleased with the familiarity & retro simplicity. Good Job guys.

Pretty fun. Sounds like a Lazer beam, have to play with sound at low volume.

This is almost a direct rip of the original desktop defense, but less fun. We hate that you cant pause and build towers, it makes this more stressful than it needs to be. But thats how the original desktop defense was too, so we guess we just wanted to complain.

It's a fun game… But could use more maps and new turrets.

Game is awesome but after level 50, you can skip levels anymore and are a slave to the timer (which means Im sitting there swiping on our phone repeatedly for 20 minutes straight just waiting for a few levels). Finally managed to get over the level 167 boss flying hump after months and months of saving stars to sky rocket past our 3300 high score and was well on our way up to 10k. Got a phone call and took us out of the game. Reopened it a moment later to continue and it had kicked us out to the main screen. When we clicked the upgrade tab, we only had 17 stars. Played for hours and hours to get zero progression. Please fix this and Ill change our rating.

Once you beat all the stages and play unlimited mode, it gets boring because of the wait time between each waves.

You constantly have to collect coins. Why should you have to do this if this is supposed to be a thinking strategy game. Also the sound cant be turned off or lowered. Even when we mute the ipad, the sound is still on and quite loud.

Seriously? This game should be called Towers money pickup. Nobody wants to waste time picking up coins while theres a maze to build and towers to upgrade. And then the grid system is so bad why punish us when we sell a tower? The original had many flaws, and this one kept them and added worse ones. Forget it.

Really weird version. We have to manually pick up the loot. Total pain. Gave up.

Worse port of another game. Graphics are messy and loose, hard to tell if towers are aligned correctly. Have to collect coins from every kill which is absolutely pointless and destroys the functionality of what wants to be a cerebral game. Only functional iOS game we've given one star to. Does not need to exist–get desktop TD instead.

Would rather not have to collect coins manually.. Giant birds seem almost impossible at some point, even with screen filled with fully upgraded SAMs. Would rather not run into a hard wall like that in the endless play. Even still, great fun! Currently we're #1 in the leaderboards woooo.

A game doesn't have to be awe inspiring or a million dollar budget to be good, and this game is a perfect example. It's a simple Desktop Defense with… Flappy Bird… But it doesn't hinder this game. The upgrade system is good and contributes to doing better in future games, meaning that grinding doesn't feel like a waist of time. And, just a side note; we kinda like how a 'Game Over' results in the game crashing. No, seriously, we're not kidding. We think it's funny.

This game was a lot of fun, but doesn't seem to run correctly on the iPhone 6S. We can't select towers to upgrade them. Hope an update comes along.

Cool game. But don't spend your coins on the "Yummy Donut." A new background isn't worth all that work.

We love this game. So much fun.

We're impressed on how good this game is, it'd be better if it were less challenging.

The game starts to freeze up at level 50 – we made it to level 111 – but it was bogging down – be great if that big could be fixed.

Almost like desktop tower defense. Lots of fun.

Seems like it would be fun, but it seems like there is a bug where you can't select a tower so no upgrades.

Flppy Bird plus tower defense is hilarious. A fun TD game with a lot of ways to set up the board.

Good tower defense game with some flappy bird style sprites.

We like how the game combine flappy bird in to tower defense style.

We like the new updates with better designs. This is a really fun and addictive game! We play a lot on the train. We really want to get the donut from the secret upgrade options.

Stylish design and very easy to play.waiting for the update version..really like it.

Classic tower defense game. Tapping the screen to collect coins and stars was pretty annoying. Rather just TD.

This is good game we like is it.

A blatant rip-off of the classic Desktop Tower Defense. We absolutely despise that you have to collect the coins. Everything is a bit small on our iP5. Would be better on an iPad we imagine. There is potential here, we guess.

This game is excellent for those short intervals where we need a nice distraction.

We really enjoyed the game immensely; it is very well made and involves a great deal of strategy. We found ourselves missing subway stops whilst playing this very addictive strategy game. There is a lot of factors to contemplate when playing this game.

We like this game. There's a lot of levels to get through, upgrades, and no annoying coins to buy. Can't really go wrong with free.

Good little tower defense game. Needs some more polish; but it has a lot of potential. Hopefully more updates are forthcoming.
