Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

We loved it. We specifically look for Elephant games because we think they are the best.

Ive been playing these types of games for twelve years. We enjoy them very much. We rarely using skips or hints. We get bored easy when the game is more simply laid out, we.e. Using all items found in 2 to 3 rooms before advancing forward in the game. This game catered to our experience and therefore what we enjoy most. Rooms were not complete, they were used through out the game. Items found were used throughout the game in an unpredictable way. The longer puzzles were our favorite, as they were solvable with some thought but not impossible. Needless to say, we were very pleasantly surprised with this game this morning. Bravo and thank you.

Good game, great price on sale. Had some trouble using the pencil in the artwork segments, but everything else worked fine.

We really liked this one. Had some new types of puzzles some easier than others. The painting was okay but when you had to connect the dots it was tedious. We almost want to start back with the first in the series so we can get a better idea of who's who in the Grey family. This one was pretty creepy but not over the top with satanic stuff.

We really enjoy playing this serious, the grim tales! Although it might be a little expensive for us to afford it, we still regard the grim tales games as the most favorite game for among all the big fish games we have played.

We love Elephant games because of their character and high quality! We will be playing every game that they care to make! We look forward to playing your next game! Keep on rockin.

Seems very well thought out so far… Muti-demential scenes make it a bit harder and more interesting.

Very enjoyable game!! Love the character Ms Gray.

We liked this game because there are more than just hidden puzzle games….. Excited for the next one.

We don't like that Thomas name at all it's a girls name and it will always will be.

Really enjoyable yet free game….thanks.

The art has the right atmosphere for the plot. We've only played a little of the beginning. We like the panoramic view in the outside view. We love the hidden object games and so far it doesn't look like there will be a lot in this game, so that's kind of disappointing to us. Other people may be fine with it. We like how it seems to be set in the 1920s or some other period piece.

Contrary to some, we found the many facets of play engaging and challenging. Adding elements of two worlds, art mini exercises, and three scene items to collect keeps this series fresh. Plus you keep playing for your money's worth with two bonus chapters and a secret room game. Well done.

Very easy to play and not get lost.

Wish it would have been a longer game.

Please keep them coming! We buy them as soon as we see them come out! CANT GET ENOUGH.

We had really gotten tired of list type HOGs and wasn't even going to try this game. What a great surprise to find varied, innovative HOS and, best of all, puzzles like those in Fates Carnival. Of course, the graphics are incredible.

What a interesting, entertaining and wonderful game. Great graphics! Many twists and turns, with lots of unique tasks to complete. Elephant games never disappoint. Loved everything about it. Thank You for such Great entertainment. Really makes you use your brain. Well Done!!! KdBoots.

We love following the Gray family and this game was no exception. The graphics were superb but the storyline a little cruel even for us. We had trouble with the "paintings". We couldn't seem to connect the dots. Coloring them was no problem. We still think this a first rate game however and would like to see more like this.

Beautiful graphics..interesting HOP's..long play time…fabulous.

We really enjoy these kinds of games! This one was challenging but fun! Great job.

Great game to play much better then the bride one keep the games coming. Our only wish now is that they did not cost so much. The price is great when they are sale which is usually when we purchase the full version.

This game is definitely a cut above the rest. The first thing you notice is the outstanding graphics. The expanded screen on each location gives the set a three dimensional feel. The 3D map is the new standard. The story line is engaging and continues as a sequel, but if you didn't play the earlier editions, they fill in the gaps. This game designer has set a new bar for future HOGs.

We loved this game. Not for the beautiful graphics and so many things to find, but having played all the games in order, it was wonderful to see all the characters return. You should play all the games in this series.

This game is the best one yet it was cool to be able to see the colors pictures you can draw and paint. We're looking forward to the sequel.

Ok so far we have only played 30 seconds.

We have played the entire game and our 17 year old grand girl. We both loved the game and not one glitch on our iPad. We both loved the game. The puzzles no hops as well as the story. Great game BF and the team.

This gorgeous game is an Elephant game, and they did their usual great job! Fans of the Grim Tales series will recognize the Grey family but this is also – like the rest of the series – a stand alone game and plays well even if you don't know the back story. Do keep in mind that each scene is larger than the view on your iPad. The arrows at the top of the screen are so you can "turn your head" and get a fresh perspective. For example the opening scene by the fountain- right top arrow and you see the whole fountain and mermaid statue. Keep your eyes open for morphing objects and strange critters.

So we recently got into the adventures of the Grey family, but we knew we were missing references to past adventures. This one doesn't cover all the details, but provides enough to understand the nuances of the plots later on. A good jumping on point for people who don't want to go back all the way to game one to learn the details and stories in our opinion. A little glitchy, and connect the dots wasn't easy to figure out with the paintings, but overall solid game.

Could be a good game if it were NOT for freezing up and if Hint button worked consistently. Like the game other than the glitches.

They need to recalibrate the touch zone for the dog in the doorlock puzzle. The only way you can drag him is if you tap and hold under him and to the left (on the half-circle he is sitting on). Very frustrating! Otherwise, a good game.

So many amazing qualities to this game and so many extra's it should have been an easy 5 star rating…but…the glitch or technical issue of having to repeatedly tap on something to get it to register was soooo frustrating. It's really too bad cuz it really could have been one of our favorite games.

This game can be more fun than it is if the glitches were fixed. If a hint indicates that something is suppose to happen in a scene, make it doable and not have a player wondering if they have missed the mark with the hint or action. Also you must hit too many actions to get one thing done. Just get'er done already.

The game flows somewhat choppily at times, but we enjoyed it anyway. Nice visuals but we think they could have had more fun with the drawings we paint that come to life. It's a little far fetched that the family member is that crazy considering he was loved by his family so much, but even in real life there are bad kids who grow up to be bad people, despite their family. It is a game everyone should try.

We enjoyed this game from the start, we loved the graphics, they are always exceptional with every Elephant Game and we appreciated the grand angle screen views and the creative puzzles….but we loathed the glitches, we even had to skip a puzzle in order to move on and that's not acceptable for a game we payed for. History is repeating itself here…pls do test you games on iPad minis, quality matters! Thank you and looking forward to the next one.

We love this series and the Elephant men and women did not disappoint but we have to say, we were really creeped out in the office with the little girl looking for her doll. Have you guys been working overtime too much to get these games out and your nightmares getting the best of you. We love scary but we were reluctant to even enter the room and we have two huge (165lb) Rottys curled around our feet! All in all, Game was very good as the last few games have been super..thanks BF. So very happy Blueflier on your latest test results. Very happy for you. All the best to you and the rest of the gang. Hossy.

It was fine for just spending time. We did enjoy the different styles of hidden object games. Story was not terribly interesting though.

This game is one of the best in the series so far .It had a few glitches were you couldn't hardly pick up some objects and most of the colors for painting some of the drawings was missing. Also did not understand how the pallet board worked. But we cannot wait for the next one.

It is a fun game, but could be better without so many puzzles, especially the complete the paintings. There is a skip button for them, so we skipped all of them. Did not have any problems picking up and using items. We really like this series and hope to see more.

Multi-step HOS , fun " painting", rapid hint recharge, beautiful graphics. Enjoyed this immensely.

Loved it. Graphics were great. Story was a little different. Not the same old tale. Some of it was quite challenging.

We first tried this on our iPhone 5S and found the words and objects too small and we were unable to grasp some of the items. So we downloaded it on our iPad and everything was good sized but we still couldn't pick up and move some of the objects. We love Grimm Tales but we're not sure this is a buy for us.

We love this series of games, but this one needs a rework. Over and over we find ourselves trying tap something to claim or move it and it just doesnt work. Im almost ready to give up because it is way too frustrating. Keep up the good work, and fix the bad please.

Great storyline and graphics, but omg, the puzzles are all so non responsive Ive never had this kind of problem before. Very frustrating to say the least.

The game is dark in both tone and concept. Most items blend into the background so you can't see them even if you find one by accident. The mini games seem ambitious but they don't work correctly. Had to skip a couple because the parts did not slide into the screen so we could even interact with them, even with resets. The motivation of the evil antagonist is entirely opaque, and his actions include attempted child murder for no apparent reason. Giving three stars for the attempt to do something different –for instance extra wide screen sliding scenes– but it didn't quite come together. ALSO the hint button has a compass on it so it looks like the map button, and it's on the left, where the map/menu buttons are normally (why?) So we keep getting a hint when we actually want the map or menu. Again, why.

It was mild fun. Too many cut scenes, we want to play a game and not practically watch a short movie. And for crying out loud, how many missing door handles and keys can you stuff into one game.

Just not much of a plot, but we played it through to the end. Made little sense. Kept us occupied for a few hours. Thats about it.

Just because you could….doesnt mean you should. We miss her father…the interaction between them was fun, and a bit of comic relief. There was none. Puzzles are okay, if not repetitive. We hope the next one has him in it!! J.

Like the story line but a lot of things are hard to click. Also better directions on art puzzles would be nice. Like how to connect the dots. Where to start so lines will draw.

We played the trial part of this game. We liked it (but not enough to pay $6.99 for the full game). It was easy to navigate with the map and "teleport" feature. We played the casual level and the game was still challenging. The puzzles were pretty easy, but included a good variety.
