Ive played free plays but also helped crowdsourced part of many loans. We havent won yet, but we have hope. Over 6.5 million US dollars has been crowdfunded to pay off student loans and mortgages. The top place Ive gotten is 12th rank. We were so excited! Im currently in 1,111th place in the free 10k queue. Love that #. This would pay off all our student loans. The more we play this game, the more information they want to track about our interactions with other apps. Its very invasive and there is absolutely ZERO reason why this app would need to track all our actions across other apps and website so that they can target ads to us. Im just fine watching the same generic ads over and over again. Ive been with Givling since the beginning, but its just a pipe dream that will never become reality. Its time to hang up our hat and move of from what could have been. All the changes over the years have just made it that much harder to get to the top of the queue. This game used to be fun, and give us hope that we may be able to pay off our loans before we are 45, but reality is, at least theyll be paid off at that point. Im fortunate enough that we dont need assistance, so its time to leave it to those who truly do. Its been nice knowing ya Givling, but Im out.
Never won any money on this. Not a great app.
We had the giving app for a couple of years and finally deleted it last year and we could not be happier. We were in the top 200 in one queue (the one we were focusing on) and 1000 in another queue. Initially we enjoyed it and then we realized, nope this is not for us anymore. We were spending more money to be competitive and not to mention, we were playing this during our vacations or else we would drop in the queue if we missed a day or two. Some places we traveled to had no WiFi, so thats another problem. We came to the realization that we needed to stop feeding the addiction because it took 30 minutes of our life everyday and we were giving away our hard earned money to pay for something that was likely never going to happen. We saw a couple months after we deleted it, they added more queues. That can be cool, but that means you have to add on the additional leaders in the queue you are not competing in to the number of people you have to go through before they get to you. For example, if we are #200 in the orange queue and there are four different queues, that means there are 799 people we have to go through to get to us. The more queues they add on, the higher that number will be. That is a lot of people and when you are trying to keep your position, you are forced to pay more, since you cant really do much if you arent paying for anything.
Im frustrated. We used to be able to gain dozens of ranking spots every month by playing every day. Unfortunately, we have not made progress since the new changes were added. Go back to awarding bonus points every day so everyone plays every day!!! The new surveys have kept us back too. We dont want to take the surveys because of all the invasive data they collect (look at the terms of service for the surveys…its alarming). Because of that we keep getting passed by other people. We also lost about 600 places in the orange queue overnight and never got a reason why even though we sent an email to support.
So there is so much information. We have no idea how this works. It would be great to just have to read a paragraph to figure out how it works. Also you only get 2 free plays a day which does not keep us coming back everyday.
Always changing rules and days behind IOS updates so app doesnt work properly until they catch up.
Well the app let us get all the way through sign up then when we try to log in instantly shuts down scary did we send our info to a scam site dont download.
We havent been able to use the app because when we try to create an account we receive and error messages stating that our email address is invalid, but it isnt. Our email address username has a . Separator in it. We suppose your validator throws out email addresses with dot separators that arent followed by com, net, etc. But valid email addresses with dot separators in the username are a thing. Please fix.
New survey feature doesnt work. We e been playing consistently every day and our ranking keeps dropping because of this new update. Its highly unfair and disadvantages loyal players like us who not even participate consistently, but have donated to the fund. Fix it.
Ive been using this app for years now and have been consistently watching ads and playing every day. We were once in the top 1400 and missed 2 days of watching ads and dropped to the 1700s. Ive made our way to the high 1600s but now the surveys have dropped us 20 spots just today. Not only are they very invasive but they simply dont work. Ive tried a dozen times to complete surveys, after clicking hundreds of times to get one to fill out. They all end with the same message oops someone ate all the surveys or this survey has expired. Its a clearly unfair advantage to people who are able to finish the surveys which is obnoxious for an app like this.
We have been using Givling since 2017. We try to play everyday, and although we havent won anything yet, Ive seen plenty of people who have been helped. The only issue we have is that the rules seem to change constantly. We cant honestly keep up with the current rules as they change almost biweekly anymore. Why can you not load? Then when it loads. Game cannot progress. This is happening time after time after time. Day after day after day. Week after week. Has not gone to months as yet. Unable to put in comments on we pone.
Ive been a Givling advocate for a long time. We understand that there needs to be some changes as growth happens, except now its so different and confusing! We used to be in the top 1,000 places to be funded, and now Im nowhere near it. We havent stopped playing or supporting… Its just so disappointing to feel so much hope only to have that gone again. We tried emailing them to try and better understand the way it works and they just responded that the rules were on the Facebook group (we have no Facebook and no desire to be on Facebook) and they needed more info about what we didnt understand to explain it. If that were possible, we wouldnt need help. We also emailed a few times that we stopped receiving the weekly emails and they said they had us on the mailing list. Still havent started receiving them again. We literally started playing the first year they started, but Im finding ourselves more lost with each new change.
We wish this app would let us have unlimited free trivia plays. After about 3 plays it wont let us continue playing and asks us for coins. Very irritating. . They should make this game more enjoyable.
The basis is simple and the effects can be life changing! YOU DONT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO WIN. But you do have to play to win! There is a paid queue and free queues so depending on what works for you, go for it. We do the free queue. If you are diligent with playing the 2 free games and do the 30 advertisement spins/day you can move up pretty quickly. Ive had the app since 2016 but only started playing diligently last year. We went from 12K to just over 4K in a year. Now its pretty slow moving but we keep plugging away for the #1 spot or am hopeful for #1 in trivia or a random cash drawing.

Ive been using Givling for about a year now, so much less than some people, but long enough to start to get a feel for it. No, its not perfect, but it is constantly evolving and we think its mostly getting better with every new development. So far they have funded almost $5 million in student loan debt, and more every day! Lately they seem to be moving more towards a model of giving money away at random, but there is still plenty of gamification for you to get excited about and improve your chances. If youre a person who has a go-to time waster app on their phone, give this one a try! They give away a lot of money to trivia winners! And if you do have student loan debt, get the app, play it and join the Givling Facebook group. Its a really vibrant community of users supporting each other, sharing successes, venting daily frustrations etc. You see very quickly that youre not alone in this struggle.

Ive been playing for over 3yrs and have watched this game change and grow, all for the better! Im a legit trivia winner too! It was back in the early days when prizes were less. But it was still $90! We started playing Givling May of this year because of an article we read about a woman who won $10000 just by playing a trivia game a couple times a day. Givling has all different kinds of ways to contribute to the cause. They have many partners and some are free and some arent, but the great part is you get to choose your level of participation while still having chances to win random money. Our update has been completed and while we like the updates that have been made… We cannot complete any of our videos. We have been getting errors saying that the videos are not available for two days now.
We just updated the app less than a week ago and already you have to update again in order to play. We get that you want it to run its best but this is ridiculous.
Waste of time and money. The app tends to crash more than it works, always has. When they change the formate you loose a lot of ground. Honestly all the time you spend trying to get the app to work, money buying coins and products and time you spend, might as well just get a second job and pay off your loans.
We played this game a little over 2 years. Theyre constantly making changes, and if youre not careful youll find yourself addicted and overspending money for nothing. No, you dont have to buy, but chances are youll probably never get anywhere if you dont buy your way to the top. We believe its a rip-off or rigged and the winners are actually all involved somehow. You dont actually know the winners, so who knows if its not a scam.
They are constantly changing how things are done – the ads have issues running, and when you let them know, they just tell you keep trying and thank you for your patience. Its impossible to even keep your spot now with the new changes if you miss a day because your spins didnt work. Im questioning if its fixed and people win who they want to win.

Ive been using Givling for a number of years now, and it might seem crazy that theres an app thats out there helping people get rid of their student loan debt. It exists! Play trivia games and you could have a chance to get the crazy opportunity to not drown in debt. We actually just won $10,000 towards our student loan debt and we cant believe it. Update #2-Still a bunch of BS! Ive completely stopped playing. Ive watched people but thousands of dollars in to this and get no where. People put in money for sponsors or ads and get no where. You can easily get jumped in the queue no matter how much you do. Theres never been any proof that people have actually won and if they have they have not been able to prove they are not affiliated, friends or family of the company. The people are still rude and do not answer questions and ban people whenever they feel like it even if it goes against their rules. This company has been reported to the BBB and other organizations. Its not worth our money or time. Update- there have been changes like the $10k drawing. But also Givling has massively banned thousands of people via social media for asking questions or not understanding things. They ridicule, mock and bully people daily. Please do not download this app and do not lend support to a bad company full of bad people. Play trivia twice a day for free. Watch three ads an hour for up to 16 hours. All of which gets you points into the queue. Get to the top of the queue get your loan paid off. The app is still in the early stages. There are glitches and app changes and updates. The concept sounds awesome. You can pay for more plays and buy merch and buy sponsor products. All of which gets you higher in the queue. The more you spend the higher your chances of winning the 50k. Its possible to win without spending money but very, very unlikely which makes it seem like a pyramid scheme. Their PR is atrocious. They are very snarky and have even made fun of people for asking questions. The game is kind of fun we guess and the option to win money has kept us playing. Their Facebook and PR in general has nearly pushed us to completely deleting the app. The app needs users to watch ads and buy merch so they can get money but if they are rude and snarky and even make fun of their customers they will lose customers quick. We still dont think its legit. The more we play and the more we talk to other players we believe this is a scam. Update- they have again mocked multiple players, have been rude, cursed and been derogatory about their users. No way to run a business. We have never known a real person to win this at all. This is a scam. This needs to be removed from the App Store so others cant be tricked.

The chance of winning seemed a little far fetched since we werent great at trivia but all in all it was a fun app that seemed to help people out so we kept playing. Just this past week, we won $10,000.00 towards our mortgage in a random drawing. The excitement we felt was unreal. Keep playing and you might win too.
