Community Insight:

We're still having to go back and forth to the guide…it's a lot of unnecessary in and outing. The awakenings games had the guide built in. Perhaps that's something you could do to make it more fun and less frustrating. Other than that..we love these games. Thanks. This is ridiculous Scratch that last review. Awakening Kingdoms is the best game ever..ever. We just wish we could have kept all the others. We miss them very much.

Cool puzzles and great graphics! Really like its.

Ive played a LOT of these games over the past few years and this is one of our new favorites. Somehow we missed this gem until now. Im so glad we found it! Its a great storyline and the puzzle games are not too hard. Just about perfect. :).

Love big fish games and am so sad to see that some of the ones we've already purchased are not compatible with the new ios 11 update. Please update your games, Big Fish.

Our family really enjoy playing the Awakening series. But now it says it won't work properly unless the developers update all the games. Please big fish, we have spent hundreds of dollars on your games over the years. We have enjoyed all of them and want to be able to play them over again as your games claim. As far as this game as great Ashe rest of the series even if it was a bit short. Please update the games so we can continue to enjoy them all. Thank you.

This is a fun game. The directions os the mini-games are pretty clear.

We enjoyed this game, but not nearly as much as the others in this series. It was too short, and it didn't seem as challenging as the others. But it was a good play.

We love the Awakening games we have purchased all of them and played over and over!!! Can't wait for a new Awakening game to come out.

This is a very intriguing game. We have really enjoyed it and plan on purchasing it. We would recommend it to everyone.

Great game so far, haven't finished yet. Looking forward to completing this one.

We enjoyed this game but we want more Sofia! We were super confused at the beginning, because we thought we were still playing as Sofia. We hope to have an awakening 8 with more Sofia and more action.

It was a bit short. (An achievement was finishing under 6 hours? Really? A real achievement would be it taking longer than 4.) we've played all the others and very happy, we thought as they progress the games would get longer and more in depth. Don't get us wrong, it's beautiful, a good story, fun (although super easy) mini games. We had just one glitch and it was fixed as easy as exiting the game and restarting. We wish there had been more extras, it was kind of like "oh, it's over. Ok. " Nothing wrong with it, we just expected more at this point in the series. We'd buy it again though for sure.

We love these series, not the best game, but we still love it.

Nice features, nice graphics and finally something without horror scenes.

We love this whole series. Played them all on our computer, now playing them again on our iPad.. Looking forward to playing them all again.

We love these games. Every Awakening that we have played has always been fun, beautiful and the music is soothing. Most games we just turn off all the sounds to play, but not on these games. Hope to see more in the future and maybe the fun could be a few extra chapters. It ends to early for us. Thanks, McKenna.

This is an excellent game. Enjoyed playing. It had great graphics and a colorful bird hint button that was fast. Liked naming the bird.

This game just as good as the others in this series. Had great fun playing it. Thanks.

We enjoyed this game just as much as the other sequels to these games we just hope we won't have any problem in reopening it again we look forward to playing every game in sequence keep them coming.

We love all of the awakenings. Even though we were only able to play the trial so far we AM gonna purchase this game. Beautiful graphics, new puzzles and a lot more.

Not sure why he couldn't get past dragon. Have to think about it but we got passed it with no problem. Game hasn't crashed once.

Excellent as always. It's such a joy to play another quality game.

This game lacked the ability to let you know what was the next step and if you were going in the right way. It took a lot of guess work.

A bit simple but still enjoyable.

Good enough game, but short and no bonus content, for this price it should certainly has some.

It was fun. We think we will go though it again just for fun.

This was a fun game, the movements were a bit jerky, but the general concept was very good. It is a bit shorter than normal, but still enjoyable to play.

We share the sentiment of some of the other reviewer's in that some of the challenges took long to complete because items could not easily be selected. This meant a lot of going back-and-forth to figure out what would work when the original plan was correct. Of all the games we've played (and there are a lot), we came to depend on the B.F. Guide to show us exactly where to click. If developers expand the "click zone", this would no longer be an issue.

We love playing all of the games in this series and we are an older adult. For us, the games and flow are just challenging enough without making us do too many mental gymnastics. This one does not have many links to the other games other than look and feel. The one thing that annoyed us is having to click through the pre-story EVERY time before getting to the login screen to play. That is what reduced our rating to 4 stars. Otherwise, it is a fun and straightforward game, pretty much what we expect from this design team. Would like to know of other BOOMZAP designed games.

Surprised how quick/easy it was to beat the game.

Fun game to play! Love the feature that tells you where exactly where an action is needed. Saves a lot of boring wandering. Decent puzzles. Good story. Worth the money.

It kept us interested, but some of the games had very vague instructions and were a little hard to figure out. We like the puzzles where you are finding pieces of a large item. If you have played the other games in this series, you will probably enjoy it.

But as with all Awakening games, feel like you don't get to actually see the end of the game. Would have liked to see some tie in with the other games.

We really liked this game. We hated the last one but this one was fun, if a tad short. The graphics were not as magnificent as in prior Awakening games, but they were clear and crisp. The cut-scenes were fairly exciting as well. Here you collect fairies, but we could care less as we consider collectibles a distraction from the story. The game did not have a journal, but it regularly gave you clear and up-dated objectives. Inventory was labeled, and some were plus items (which we love) that had to be manipulated in some way. There was a good teleport map, with available tasks indicated. Loading between scenes was instantaneous. The hint was not a spoiler alert. The game flowed very well and we really cannot say it was glitchy. The HO scenes were very well-done and varied, from word lists to silhouettes, to using one object to unlock another, and there were puzzles embedded in the HO scenes. The puzzles and games were a bit on the easy side but never-the-less, they were fun. Sometimes you would find a puzzle within a puzzle. You also had a magic crystal to use, either in HO scenes or to reveal a secret place or inventory item. You used it to activate a magical eye. You got the power of fire from Cedric instead of a pocket dragon, which was fine with us. At least you don't have to keep feeding Cedric! There was lots to do, including creating potions and building things and breaking spells. There were no RATS, except mice in HO puzzles, which we can basically handle. The game kept us entertained. The only reason we could not rate it 5 stars was due to length. It wasn't long enough and there was no bonus adventure. There weren't a lot of gorgeous wallpapers either. We like that BoomZap switched it up. We were sick of the Princess Sophia games. We want a sequel but please give us a collector's edition with bonus gameplay. We are sending a big shout-out to the Dream Team Elite! KimMeadow, Sunshine Susie and Opinion, your reviews are great as always! Keep up the good work! Snooper, we have a question. You said there was a new House of 1000 Doors. We can't find it! Was it for iPad? DreamTeam, we need to start bugging BigFish again for a new Empress. That includes EVERYBODY ON THIS TEAM! Other gamers as well! One of the most gorgeous and magical series ever! From Lynxie.

Great picture, clear. Good story.

It wasn't bad. Controls got frustrating towards the end when you kept on picking up inventory items after puzzles, but for $3.99. Not bad.

Puzzles are not the usual clichs, but suit the story. Most of the artwork is very beautiful. Characters are drawn without movement or expression, which isn't so good. Good story, many locations.

This may not have been the best but kept you interested. Good voice overs map and guide. Your collecting fairies in this one. L/M no rats or mice that we saw. A big shout out to all. Lol and prayers to all. Snooper-158 btw L/M there is a new 1000 Doors out but we don't like it as well as the others.

We enjoyed this game – love the whole series. However, we never got to cure the dragon! At the end of the game we were left with the water & the mushroom sack – never got the mossy bark. What's up with that? Still, inventive HOP scenes, some very original puzzles, good map. Make more of this series.

New to this series. Enjoying the variety the game provides.

We have all the Awakening series and we love them all. As usual this one has great graphics, awesome mini games, nice story line, and good HO…but we know this is before Sophia's time soooooo, how does this connect to her like is Sasha her mother when she becomes queen after marrying the prince.

We're still on the trial, but so far not bad at all. We're finding it different, and it's fun! We got to name our own"Bird." Lol There are several unusual aspects of the game like the map it's unique. We'll keep going, and take our chances.

This is still good but it's not as good as all the other Awakening games. Those re awesome.

A bit disjointed. At least the character voices work on this game. That's another story for another time. We're in the very beginning of the game so rating it at this time we can only give a 3. Who knows? By the end the music, graphics, puzzles etc may change that. Not even to unlocking phase yet. Questionable if we will pay $7. We're a sucker but we've bonded with our pocket dragon and Randolf. We rather miss them.

We are very disappointed that no matter what we do, there is no sound on our iPad when playing this game. Another so much fun.

Why am we badgered to write a review when we've barely started the game? Ask us later please.

The game was fun in some ways, but we found more disappointments than fun. The final miny game was impossible to beat because you couldn't see the whole thing. Also the animation was very bad personally we prefer the old information. This episode was also the least interesting and intriguing of the series. But we have information telling us that it will be the last of the series. For those diehard awakening fans like us we would definitely want to play this as a memorial of awakening. This was the worst episode in the awakening series but worth playing for those true awakening fans.

We love this series. However, this one took us about 3 hours to complete. Puzzles are not complicated at all, and amount of content is severely lacking. The storytelling is there, but not enough. Kinda disappointed in it.

We are a fan of all the other awakening games in the series, but was a bit disappointed that this one didn't seem to have any tie in with the others. Was really expecting a bonus game at the end that was a real bummer.

We agree with the other reviewers, this Awakening was not up to par with the others. No storyline connection to the original Awakenings, at least not explained to the player. Hints made no sense, though we were able to figure things out without resorting to walk through. Most Mini games were not a challenge and the last one was way too hard.
