We tried to play this for the Battleship Game and it was unplayable. It just kept trying to explain the instructions and it wouldnt let us put our pieces down anywhere.
We all love it, we grew up on it we just wish the mini game would work with iPhone, the pieces to play are almost completely off screen so we cant drag them with out the game backing out and when we can grab it it wont let us place them.
Every time we visited our grandma during the summer we would spend HOURS playing all of the Freddi Fish games on her computer. But when Windows 7 came out and we were no longer able to play the games except for only the 5th one, we were all very disappointed, including her, for we were all very huge fans of them. So when we finally learned the game was remastered and rereleased, we immediately bought them all for our iPad and we were extremely happy. It brought back very happy nostalgic memories of playing the games with our grandma and cousins and sharing hysterical laughs. Its a game that we very much believe that adults will enjoy every bit as much as kids will. Whats great about the games is that they randomize themselves every time you login so you pretty much never play the same game twice. The characters are really cute and extremely funny. The hijinks are hysterical and theres absolutely zero dirty humor or innuendo! The humor is 100% clean! The puzzles in the game really encourage you to think hard, making it a great learning tool for young kids, encouraging listening skills, problem solving, logic, memory, strategic thinking, and so much more. The puzzles are very easy for adults but are still very fun to do. The games overall take about at least a half hour for an adult to finish, but its a great time-killer and extremely fun. Ive been seeing comments where people have been complaining about not getting any sound, but Ive had zero problems with any of the 5 games whatsoever. We also love how the games dont take more than around 300MB of data, which works out well for us considering we have TONS of games on our iPad taking up A LOT of space. Well worth every single cent.
We dont know why some people are having issues with sound but we have played this game many times over the years since it first was released on the App Store. And we have used different iPads to play it as ive upgraded. We wouldnt bother to know if it works on our iPhone because we like to have big screens for gaming.
The game changes so you can play it more than once. Its fun to relive our childhood, and its not too easy to be fun! It actually has its challenges. Also, the sound does work, you just have to turn your phone ringer on. We definitely recommend it. We play it a lot.
We wish we had read reviews before purchasing. This was a nostalgic game and made us happy to find but theres no audio (music or speech) for the whole game :( wish we could get our money back.
Still play this game Im Very very very very very good at the game.
We love Humungous Entertainment games and was excited to be able to play them right on our phone! But as soon as we paid our $5 for this and opened it up to start playing, no sound whatsoever came through. We checked other apps and such on our phone, but it isnt our audio thats the problem; other things work just fine. We tried playing with the settings here, but there arent many to begin with, and nothing worked. We cant play this game without any sound.
We used to have this game on CD-ROM when we were a kid, but we lost it a long time ago! We're so glad that this game is now available in the App Store! There are a couple of minor issues that need to be resolved though. First, this game originally had the fade effects, but those effects are absent due to the use of ScummVM. Also, in the close-up shot of Freddi and Luther as they encounter Xamfear, the dark shadow that the latter casts on the former two appears glitchy. Other than that, we give this game five stars.
