Community Insight:

We need more games on mobile and pc from this developer. We absolutely love his Piczle lines game series. Theyre our favorite.

Any game that can reach a flow state is worth looking at; but somehow achieving this with a picross-like mobile game is brilliant! After doing only a couple puzzles, we were already intuiting the line lengths rather than counting them; combined with the surprisingly responsive controls, it felt like we were making wizard-like Tetris moves on the fly. The game also has a level of polish and flare youd expect from Nintendo rather than a small indie studio. The fact that its free, and doesnt have third-party ads, definitely makes us want to support them by buying additional puzzles. The only serious criticism we have is that some of the shades of gray are hard to distinguish from each other. On one of the very early puzzles, it took us a few moments to realize we were matching the wrong colors! The colorblind options are a nice inclusion, but dont help with this problem unfortunately. Another minor criticism is that Id like to be able to skip the short materialize cutscenes in story mode, but at this point Im nitpicking. Just try the game already.

Played the old version before but this has always been our favorite game.

Its fun to figure out the different ways you can find the lines with Piczle Lines DX. We will never look at a checquered floor the same way again.

We love nonogram games, but was getting burnt out on the same old. This is the perfect game if you want a fresh unique puzzler.

We really love this puzzle! It makes you think and then when you finish you get a reward! You can earn stickers and open up new puzzles. We like that. Its easy to play too. Not to many instructions lol. Ive recommended it to others already.

Ever since their first game, Piczle, Ive been waiting and waiting for a new release. We love these puzzles. Great way to take a break and kill some time. We hope that continue to release new games and update the ones they have.

We looked for an app for this type of puzzle for a while, and found it! And we would give it a 5 star rating if we could reduce the screen enough to see more number dots while solving. Often, we cannot see another dot with the same number (usually 10-12 and larger) within the screen without scrolling. A 20-25% reduction would be awesome.

Great fun when you have a little time to kill. Easy to start and stop.

We love the original game but this one really ticked us off. Both are designed for the iPhone but the original will turn to landscape mode so we can play on our iPad. This app only works on the iPhone and good luck if you want it in landscape mode. We deleted it, total waste of a great game.

This game has been awesome for killing time. We just wish the game data would sync across devices. We like playing on our phone when Im out, but its a bummer that we cant continue on our iPad at home.

The game is good (we haven't spent any money on it, but have on the original Piczle), but there's a bug. It says you can't purchase the Story Mode pack because you are not signed in to the App Store, but we are signed in. Fix it and we will give you five stars.

Enjoying this way more than we thought we would. It's challenging and relaxing at the same time. Highly recommend.

This game is a must get! The mechanics are simple yet very fun. For free, you get 20 story puzzles(Chapter 1)plus 100+ more free in the store. You can then buy the entire story 2-5 for 99 cents! Such a steal for a neat little puzzle game. Not to mention a ton of other packs you can buy cheap if you finish those. As far as gameplay, you connect the dots and each dot has a number/color that has to match up with another of the same number/color. Simple yet addicting.

One of the game that we really enjoy. Playing this game reminds us when we first started playing minesweepers. Simple and addicting. Not forgetting to mention there are so many free package from the developer. Kudos developer.

We love the game but we feel it needs a hint button.

Simple to learn! Keeps your brain feeling sharp, we like when we solve the puzzle and get the cheers.

We had the piczle lines game for the longest time, hoping that one day there would be an update since we beat most of the puzzles. This came out, and ive been playing nonstop! We love it.

If you're looking for a simple puzzle game, with easy-to-learn dynamics, and a lots of puzzles to choose from, you're in the right place. Addicting, and nice that you can continue a puzzle later. (we won't detail how much we like all the improvements from the original Piczle Lines, but A+.) One downside: all of the intra-level animations seem to take a while, making it feel like a hassle to finally get the game started, and into a puzzle to play.

We have been waiting for an update on this game for awhile and we're not disappointed. Keeps us entertained for hours.

Great game, but still need improvement.

It's so much fun! We can't put it down.

This game is super addicting and the package of cute art and sound fits so well. We highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed the original Piczle lines game and wanted more. The jr games were a great stop gap while we waited for this new game to be released. Thank you for making more puzzles. They occupy our mind and challenge us. We highly recommend this app for puzzle lovers.

Would really love a 3d version of piczle lines, but in the meantime, this app is first class fun. Please support them.

There are a lot of really unique things about this puzzle game, and each one of them makes this game stand out from others. We have always liked picture and puzzle games, and this one combines the two in that every puzzle creates its own picture. It is similar to picross in that regard, however the way you solve the puzzles is different. You have to create lines with your finger or stylus, matching the colored numbers up with each other. While seemingly simple and easy at first, it gets quite tricky in the later levels. The artwork is very nice. It has a cute cartoon style. The background music and sound effects are very catchy. We like all of the little things they add in the backgrounds (try moving your device around on the stage select screen). The stickers hidden throughout the menus unlocking free puzzles is a nice touch as well. Overall, we definitely recommend checking this game out.

We really enjoy this game; it can be challenging but casual at the same time. We love puzzle games and this one is no exception. The only reason we give it 4 stars is a little bug that makes progressing impossible. We've encountered it a number of times: finish a puzzle and the game doesn't register it as done. This is fine in the puzzle mode as you can jump to the next one, but it's very frustrating in the story mode. We had to wait 24+ hours to progress because the game refused to mark it as complete. We've only found one way to get around it in puzzle mode: reopen the completed puzzle (it usually freezes up, making it unable to disconnect the pieces) and exit the level. There will be no screen saying you completed it, it should just be marked finished. It is otherwise a great game.

It's a cute game. Enjoying the story mode. Good time waster, but nothing we haven't seen before.
