Our favorite series of games. Long play which is worth the $. Bought all of these games.
We've quickly learned that Elephant Is the best partner for games. For the most part, inventory all work when you use them, only had one incident so far where we had to try the axe several times. The puzzles and hidden objects are enjoyable though the interior scenery is not our favorite of the hotel series. Sad this is the last hotel series game so rationing our playing. We like scary games and atmospheric music. This is not as 'scary' as some but again, the smooth play and reliable teleporting makes such a difference when it's an Elephant game.
We wasnt sure we were going to like this, the reviews were not to great but we really like it. It has a good storyline and has stayed interesting the whole way through. Lately the games we have been playing start out good then become boarding but we have to say we are almost done and its still fun. We also was happy with how long it has lasted. We give it 5 stars.
Standard find object and use. Most HOP scenes you have to actually find and use objects also. Not many mini games which we hate .. So this is a good game for us. We had one object disappear out of our inventory and could not advance .. Had to power off our phone and restart and it was back.
Big fish has our most favorite games if you are looking a ghost and mysterious and science related game then this is the game for you because this is the longest big fish game Ive ever played so we highly recommend this game thank you for reading this.
The first scene was nicely laid out and clear. HO and games are fun, and not overly difficult. The tasks are sometimes linear, and other times you have a choice as to what to do next. There's a map, if you need it. The voices are pleasant, and fit well with the game. The puzzles are not too easy and not too hard. Worth the price.
We found the game to be much too short and the games were either too easy to play or lacked strategy and defaulted to luck. We also did not think the story had much value to it. Did not make sense for a hypnotist to make a person do something for an evil person. And she seemed too sweet to want to hurt another human being. It was a cheap game, but we still feel taken.
The trial played out like most of the reviewers said it would. This is a lackluster game with the typical word list HOPs, predictable gameplay, and few if any novel concepts. We are a fan of the Haunted Hotel series, and Id rate this a 4 if the entire HH series were ranked on a scale from 1 to 10 (with 10 as the best). Sadly, Elephant Games phoned this in (using the main trunk line?…sorry, nvm). Since there apparently wont be any new iOS games from Big Fish, Im not sure how the HOAG gaming community will spread news. Hopefully someone will see this: FiveBN confirmed that they are working on a new game in their New York Mysteries series. No release date yet, but that is a bit of a bright spot. Finally, thanks to Lynx for the kind words on the Lovers Pledge review. That is very flattering especially from a seasoned veteran.
Not real happy with your current deal. We had already purchased Nd played this game. When we went to play it again, since you advertised it was a new game, we hit the comment Already Purchased, and it said we did not purchase the game!!!! What??? So we hit purchase and new right away we played this game before. So wrong on your part. With all the repeat games, a new game is rarely seen to be played. Very sad to see this happen to this App….going down hill.
WHY?!?! The puzzles and HOP's graphics are TOO small! Almost every time we attempt to navigate ANYTHING in the HOP's or puzzles we end up doing something we hadn't intended! The beaker puzzle was Beyond frustrating! 90% of the time we tried to use any beaker or Oxygen tank, we ended up w the recipe…and 99% of the time when resetting, we were shut out of the game completely….arrggh.
Installed on iPad. We finished the trial version, then stopped. There were no hidden object scenes, which is one of our favorite aspects of these games. We're not sure where the story was going. We did not finish with the feeling of "we wonder what happens next?" Thus, our low rating.
We only played the free trial, but we enjoyed it. The puzzles were varied and often challenging. The map was good and allowed teleportation. When the price comes down, we'll buy it. Update: we need to take the hose to siphon the fuel, but the game wont let us get into the box holding it. We guess it wanted us to take it before, and now that scene is locked. BIG flaw! We're done. No sale.
20 min after we paid the game was over…rip off.
So we heard that Big Fish is NOT going to be putting out anymore new hidden object games for iPad or iPhone. They want to spend the majority of their time on the computer games that cost more money… Greed at its best.
We have never had a problem with any of Big Fish games until now. At the beginning of chapter 2, all we get is a black screen. We have patiently waited for it to go back to the game but nothing…just a black screen. Very disappointed, especially for the $6.99 price tag we paid to play it. Think twice before you purchase this stinko.
None of these games are worth $6.99…signed disappointed:(.
