Europoly – Board Game Review
Europoly is a Board/Simulation game from Don Naipe AS, first launched in 3rd February 2016.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 355+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Europoly Stand Out
Roll the dice, move your pawn, buy properties, make deals, acquire monopolies, build houses and force your opponents to bankruptcy. All this and much more is enabled in Europoly, the real-state board game that you will love.
A Europoly game can be played by 2, 3 or 4 players. Each one has a pawn for traversing Europe. If a pawn lands on an unowned property, she can buy it or auction it. But if that property is already owned by another player, she has to pay the rent. The overall goal of the game is to remain financially solvent while forcing opponents into bankruptcy.
The board is designed to perfectly fit your iPhone or your iPad. The squares include European cities and airports, motorway, ferry, casino cards, lottery cards and a jail. The player with the floor throws two dice and moves clockwise around the board. A player who lands or passes the Start square collects 5,000¤. If a player rolls doubles, she can roll in her turn. After three consecutive sets of doubles, she has to go to jail.
Cities are arranged in groups with the same color. The player who owns all the cities of a group has a monopoly and will be allowed to build houses, increasing the rent that is received. Transport squares cannot be developed, but the given rent increases if a player owns more than one of either type.
If a player needs money, she can trade with other players, sell her houses or mortgage her properties. Players cannot collect rent on mortgaged properties, but they can be unmortgaged by paying the stipulated amount to the bank. If a player cannot pay her debts (even selling her houses and mortgaging her properties), she must declare bankruptcy. The winner of the game is the remaining player left after all the others have gone bankrupt.
You can play Europoly with other bots or with humans in the same device. We have carefully crafted the Artificial Intelligence of the bots, offering 3 different and engaging levels. In the highest level, they play aggressively and are tough traders. In the intermediate level they are more relaxed and will offer better deals. In the basic level, the bots are soft and you can trick them to get good deals for your interests.

Ive been playing this game for a long time and we have also got it on our tablet. You win some you lose some theres not a matter of cheating we mean if that was the case we wouldnt be playing it as long as we have its entertaining its like any game you win or you lose and we would like to The developers for coming up with this game.
This plays mostly like the original game. The ads get annoying and break our concentration.
Unfortunately it wont let us pay for ad free which is a major bummer.
Fun game when the AI isnt cheating. Thats about 20% of the time. The AI in this game is clearly biased against the human player.
It addictively fun but its definitely frustrating you lose majority of the games because the bots seem to just be so good on the rolls they pass your property if you can land on any to get.
Instead of designing computer players that actually play better it cheats on the dice rolls where the human players get horrible rolls and the computer players get good rolls every time. Diminishes the experience to the point that if you dont cheat back it just isnt fun to play and even then is often not fun.
Better than any monopoly games ive installed but Id like to play it with our online friends so please make it an offline AND online game too.
Great game but EXTREMELY easy to accidentally hit declare bankruptcy. They need a confirm button.
We would like to see it add an option to invite and play your friends.
Hi we dont like the game we give 5 if you make a multiplayer mode.
This game makes u lose every single time almost the bots literally pass every one of ur properties meanwhile u always land on theirs or always end up losing money somehow either by paying taxes going to jail or anything u do.
Fun game but the screen freezes almost every time. Sometimes it starts again, sometimes not. Very frustrating.
The game is finish but we wish it was real people we play against. But still fun.
The games is addictive and its nice to change the players names, along with the new players that have recently been added. To change the difficulty. It glitches and get stuck between going to commercial ads or playing game.
Ive had this game for about 48 hours. Ive payed 7 games and lost every time. Also, the characters talk about ads a lot interrupting game play but then never play the ad.
The dice somehow never lands on our properties no matter how good we play we lose.
When we started every game we are never first and it keeps rolling the same number as the first person and it also makes us land on the property people buy so we cant get a lot of propertys.
It freezes every time you accept a trade or you make a trade.
The is is a super fun game. There are a few adds but not as many as other games. However, there is a technique to the game and once you use that technique, you wont lose! So we think this game is great and is a fun way to sharpen your monopoly skills.

Just downloaded today and have been playing for the last three hours…or longer Ive lost track of time! Super fun. Like monopoly but free! There are some ads but, hey, what do you expect from a free game? Ive won twice now after losing 3 times. We like that you can adjust how many players and the difficulty. The more we play the better we get. Super fun game to pass the time. We didnt have any problems with playing. Everything ran super smoothly and we really enjoyed it. Enjoyed it so much Im writing a review which we rarely do. You might get addicted though.
Im hooked on this game because we love monopoly. We took off two stars because when its automatically moving you around the board its almost always eitherstops one space short, or goes one space past where it should stop. This flaw is always advantageous for the bot players, but always an unfortunate spot for us. We agree with the other reviewers suggestions for a better experience. Bit, we cannot stop playing.
Its not what we wanted, nobody lands on our property you cant change the difficulty of the npcs LIKE THAY ADVERTIS and its not like monopoly if you like it then fine we just dont.
We COULDNT even start a game it kept on daying we need to add a human even though we had 3 humans this game is absolute trash we would not recommend it and you should but the actual monoply instead of this european knock off.
The games freezes every time someone tries to trade places.
There were many times in the game where the AI recklessly spend their money almost down to zero. Then by some miracle they get a lucky set of rolls and suddenly they get all their cash back. Then there is us with a huge cash bank winning most auctions getting consistently 50% discounts on properties. Then by some miracle the ai manages to avoid all of our properties on a regular basis while we always seem to land on theirs even though we have many more properties. On top of that we had a much larger bank but for some reason we manage to get so many bad rolls and the ai get so many good ones that we were the one that ended up in the negative. This trend kept happening and we were forced to sell off more and more of our properties until we eventually lost. This happens pretty much every game. This is how we know that the dice rolls are not random and that it heavily favors the ai.
Game was good and addictive until recent upgrade. The dice will now count mostly against you if youre playing with computer.
This game is supper fun! But, its rigged you cant win no matter what you try it makes you feel like a looserand when you loose the other robot Rubs it in your face.. Bleh hate this game.
Wow one of the most annoying games of all time. Ive played about 10 rounds and not once has one of the computer controlled players landed on a property Ive been able to put houses on. Meanwhile we literally cannot miss the most expensive properties. Mix this in with bad graphics and annoying ads and you got yourself this off brand monopoly travesty.
Seriously cheats for the computer players, not worth your time.
It was really fun at first. We like monopoly so a free version was great. However there is something off about the dice algorithm and game board. We can literally go around the board 4 or 5 times and only manage to land on a non purchased property 2-3 times max if Im lucky. By that time the other computer players have 5-6 each. Its ridiculous. Its impossible to win if you cant land on properties. We are all for challenging games, but there is something wrong with this game. Dont waste your time if you dont want to end up as frustrated as us.
We have played over 10 games and still havent won. It clearly causes you to lose money every chance you get, and the bots to always gain money. We got put in jail 7 time in one game, which isnt likely. Its nearly impossible to win.
Ive played this game at least 50 times and we have not won 1 time. We came close once but the good ole rigged dice caught its second wind and they stopped landing on our monopolies. This is the only decent monopoly clone and its rigged. Just gonna cave and buy the real monopoly.
This game is trash because when you are playing against the mpc, The dice rolls are rigged. Also, at some point of the match, ads start to appear with excuses like we dont like the dice, Im going to change them then in comes an add. After the ad, the dices are the same, do not recommend.
This game is so addicting Ive played it like 20 times in the past 2 days! Its cool to have a different theme from regular monopoly. Highly recommend.
We were spectacle obviously, but after playing with it for a day or so, we can say while it doesnt have all the fancy bells and whistles of Monopoly by EA and Hasbro, this is a very good replacement. It really has all the features of Monopoly. Its just skimmed down! Love it.
Not as bad as we thought it would be.
Very simple game with a simple focus: Monopoly. This game achieves this very well because it is very simple and fun to play. For anyone looking to play monopoly without needing WiFi, this is the game to do it.
The game is addictive but sometimes annoying. The screen occasionally freezes and Im forced to exit, usually when Im winning. The bots appear to have different risk personalities. Gamer mortgages everything to buy houses. Ramona is an idiot, lol. She will trade anytime to her deficit. One time she sat on $40k even though she should have bought houses. Also, why does every game start with one character getting a four and losing 5k. We have played board monopoly everyday with our grandson since the coronavirus started and we can tell you four doesnt come up that often on first moves with real dice. Still, Ill keep playing Europoly.
This is a great game… One problem: we dont know how to redeem the get out of jail card… It would be great if there was an option to do so when we land in jail.
This is a fun and addicting game but PLEASE change where the declare bankruptcy button is. We keep accidentally clicking it. Or at least, have an are you sure you want to declare bankruptcy pop up screen with the option to choose yes or no.
Pretty good. The only thing Is that sometimes you have no option to not buy a land.
If it had an online feature it would be awesome.
Listen its a great game but has some flaws. First when we land on our property how am we supposed to buy it , theres no buttons, Notification or any thing.Next, we are annoyed ,the computer asks for a trade we say no ten seconds later bam, another one appears.Last when we look it up its like no one has it no problem with the game, no solution for us. In summary its not like the real thing but its meh.
The game itself is fun, but we have encountered some issues. If we leave the game (not EXIT, just leave to take a call or check a message or whatever), the game freezes and will not continue. We have to exit and start a new game. Also, if we win a get-out-of-jail-free card, we cant use it! There seems to be no way to access it. If we land in jail we are offered the choice of paying or rolling, but no GOOJF opportunity. Whats up with that.
This is an enjoyable classic monopoly like game. However there are certain flaws that make it not unplayable but definitely frustrating. Most importantly: to declare bankruptcy aka lose, you press the background/map while youre in the red. The mortgage property button is very small and on top of that background. If youre a little off of the button or have big fingers like us, you accidentally hit declare bankruptcy and theres no undo button. Ive done this 5 times now and am seriously considering deleting the app bc of it. Second theres a bug where our get out of jail free card just doesnt show up 9/10ths of the time. Even after all that its still the best free version of this game out there so.

The ads are disastrous and sometimes its so obvious that the computer player gets certain advantages over the other player.

Too much convenience for computer… Its frustrating but we deleted game already.. Too much preference for computer.
