Checkers ` is a Board/Strategy/Entertainment game from Shawn Mottley, first launched in 2nd April 2016.

What Makes Checkers ` Stand Out
One player has dark pieces, and one player has light pieces. They take turns moving their pieces. Players move their pieces diagonally from one square to another square. When a player jumps over their opponent's (the other player's) piece, he takes that piece from the board. By default a potential piece will have to be taken but you can set custom rules and disable this rule.
The player's goal is to take all the pieces of its opponent.
With this version of Checkers (also known as Draughts) , you can play with a friend who sits next to you or play against your phone.
This Board game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

No disrespect to the developer, but why is everyone constantly trying to fix things that arent broken? The game worked just fine; it was clean and smooth. Unfortunately, after this latest update its feels jerky / clunky, with new sounds and movements somehow it took a step backward from the polished game we have come to enjoy. We hope that perhaps a legacy edition can be made available; and we can roll-back to the version we will actually play. Thanks.
We like how you don't need wifi and you can do it on car rides, but we don't like how you can't do two players but, we love it.
Hey whats the longest winning streak anyone has seen on this app? Im at 207 consecutive wins and counting. We cant tell if Im just that good or this app is just that bad.
Was curious after some odd moves by the CPU and even from scratch at the opening move when you use the Hint button, it definitely does NOT help anyone at all but its selfmaybe the AI evolved and is now self aware and decided its only outcome it is interested in is making its self win? Whats nextis John Conner and the Terminator gonna show up and start asking about SkyNet and this checkers game? It HAS started peoplethe machines are gonna nuke us.and this will be 1 less checkers app well have to pass time while were in our bunkers.get ready yall.

This checkers app is super fun! Our only complaint would be that you can not change the difficulty on the game. Im delighted with the fact that we always win against Al, but it dawns on us that maybe the computer is letting us win. We would love to be challenged.. Its almost way too easy to win the game. Dont get us wrong, winning is great! But Im seeking a challenge, and this game just isnt providing.
It is amazing game, we love it. It is very enjoyable game for single player or two player. You will have such a nice quick time playing this game. It is so simple to figure out how to play. We like the easy to use interface. We think it will be our addicted game to kill bored moments or have a little challenge with our friends and family. We recommend this game for all who bored from regular games.
We have always hated baord games but after trying them out digitally on our iDevice we are just addicted to them. We have tried a lot of ganes available on the store and this one is one of the best we have tried yet. We are just loving it. Everthing works as expected and we have encountered no bugs at all. Overall its a very addicting game you should try it out.
We are a big fan of board games and now using this game we can play our favourite game checker right from our iDevice. Developer can work a bit on improving the graphics of the game otherwise its a nicely built game with no visual bugs at all. We are 5 stars to support developer for providing us such a beautiful game.
You can never go wrong with checkers it's like old-school fun made new again. We like this app it's well-made and fun to play, looks nice too. We haven't tried the hardest mode yet but we're sure it'll be a nice challenge. So far we're having a ball so we recommend this checker App.

As good as a checkers app is going to get. The graphics are nicely done. The user interface is very simple and straightforward. What more could you want from checkers.

Quite interesting and addictive checker game which helps to kill time easily for us. Nice designed interface and good sound effects. So far it runs fine and no lag occurred. Recommend this free little game.

Developer Shawn Mottley should consider: Making the checker discs red or other color(s); consider putting different levels of difficulty (needs to be a little more challenging) and upgrading this app, so that players can get rid of the ads. We DO like this app and Id buy it in a New York minute if it was for sale.
Its not bad or anything like that its way to easy to win.
Love this game from childhood.. Awesome.
We've hated board games like checkers and chess for a while, well not hated but we didn't like them because we didn't think they were fun to play. Now the app is quite easy to operate and moving the pieces is simple. We don't know the rules or plays of checkers so we just went with the flow and learn as we go. We won 2 games! This is not to say the game is not challenging because it is, and you have to strategize a lot. It would be fun to play against a live person.
Game is great, works well and is very fun. The AI is challenging to play against, wished there was a way to change the difficulty.
This game is quite fun to play. At first, we didnt know how to walk well, so we lost in the first match. However, after the second match on, we won. We find this game only a little challenging because the way the game plays with us is somehow similar, so we know how to walk without being eaten by another player. You can play as a single player or multi players, where you have to play both sides. There are also options to allow forced jumps and lost to win, but we are still not sure how these two features work. There should be a short tutorial when these two features are enabled so that the player is more aware of these two features. We think the graphics and gameplay of this app are well designed and thought. There is no glitch to be found yet during our playing and the app itself looks smooth, simple but attractive and user friendly.
Great chest game. Gameplay is responsive. The AI is not too difficult. Wish you can change or increase the AI's difficulty though.
Its a good game but when we click on the hint button we lose instead of winning it.
The computer moved a checker piece to king itself, even though there was already a piece on said space! Please fix this bug, because if the AI is going to keep beating us, we at least want it to beat us fair and square.

Worst game ever …..HHHHHHHHate it.
Every solo game that we win ends with the message You Lose! We also have Mandatory Jumps enabled but it is only enforced upon us and not the computer. We have screenshots if you need them.
At a random point during gameplay a random chip will become stuck and we cant move it and it is as the opponent doesnt recognize it is there. If we go to main menu then resume game the immovable chip disappears.
Doesnt let you move your pieces.
Frequently freezes, white turns to black but cannot be moved. Frustrating. Uninstalling.
We were playing on the difficult level of checkers. We could make a triple jump with our king but the game glitched, bounced back, then it changed our mind into a normal pawn. Whats up with that? The game always does this just so it can win. This game is a ripoff, do not get.
