The best game ever we played 10 years ago and it still the best space game.
The only reason we're giving it 5 star is because we played it on PC before. This is one of the best space turn-based game out there. The environment is rich in interaction. Story is self driven similar go eve online. You can do whatever you want. You get this game for free as well so we really cant complain.
Space-Rangers was more or less our childhood. Needless to say this app sates a hunger we never thought we would get rid of. (Keeping the old soundtrack is also a nice touch).
This is the best Space Game out there! We are a huge fanatic of the original Russian PC versions and hoping more and more iterations of them will be released on the mobile platform.
Searching for items is just painful experience.
After certain play (4hours) game becomes super boring: quests are same, NPC are dumb, cant buy military operation. Earning is not linear to prices for new galaxies.
We like the game, but we keep getting a server error message that greatly diminishes gameplay. Also, we get server errors when trying to contact support. This is a cool game, we hope you can fix these small problems. 4 stars because we like the game.
Our game keep saying that has connection issues and cannot unlock new sectors or bases. Cannot find any solution not it. Besides that its pretty good game.
On a planet Cephron there were 2 dominators and one of them is fixing itself faster then it takes damage. Its impossible to kill it because 6 military ships were attempting to do it with no success. We cannot take any mission because of this immortal dominator. Dominator is on an orbit, we dont care we wanna take a mission. In other star systems cannot take mission too. So we cannot play. But game reset helped and new try was successful. Good you've made mobile version cause desktop one was great.
Love the original games. Two was our favorite and we finished them. The app is super cool and Im still exploring it, we already have 60k cr when it would take us a week of og gameplay to get that kind of cash.
If you are looking for the fun of your childhood, and played this game on PC, this is as close as you can get. Also has updates that make it better to play.

We think the game is cool and but we feel the same like the first person. And our awnser to that is the story could have a better intro not just a few seconds to thirty seconds but that it has more like 1 to 4 minutes of an intro which if applied would make us know more about the character and that we get to choose what planet he is from. From mercury to mars from mars to Pluto. And also if you add a part to it depending on what the choice of the planet is it would effect how the main characters parents are not in the story or that they are. We think overall its a pretty cool game and but it has a flaw that is that where is the character build up. What happened to the parents are they still alive and does it effect the character in any shape or form. Also it would allow us to know if the main character is part alien or just a normal human.

Ive just started the game and it already seems pretty cool. Theres crazy stuff already, heres hoping it stays good.
We keep getting connection issues when we select another map sector. We get the same connection issue message when we try to reach tech support in the app.
We would have given the game a higher rating but we have a few issues with it. As a fan of the computer games we were excited to find this game. However, the ship AI leaves a Lot to be desired. We found that we had to stop our ship and redirect it and choose new ships to engage as our ships AI would take the worst path towards our target and leave us open to attacks from everyone else while our ship spun wide circles trying to catch our target. Also pirates are insane. If you dont clear a sector fast enough youll not likely be able to without much higher tier parts and help. Warped into a sector and got wrecked by about 30 pirates before we could even do anything. Easier to take out a whole sector of Dominators than a sector taken over by Pirates.
Its mostly like the original space rangers 2…. But connections issues make it impossible to goto other sectors, why would you make that a function? Just let us pay the researcher vessels for more star maps or whatever. We bet you did it to make it available to buy with in game currency now its just a bug we cant get around.

We loved the original Space Rangers on PC. However, this tablet mod has ruined the spirit of the game and made it just another microtransaction arcade game.
Thought we loved space rangers and downloaded the app. Lol and while it belittles you with insta jump constantly. We expected a nice free game not this. Just going to stick to playing on our pc.
Unfortunately we cannot say this mobile Legacy is good like the pc versions! Im upset that it is a lot of bugs and mistakes in the game! Im very upset some features is unavailable like storage on planets, or search of the equipment and resources, im still can not find out how to jump in to black holes.
Its very awesome that Im now able to play the favorite game of our childhood on an iPad. The first time we played Space Rangers, we had a Windows 98 PC. How much tech has developed since then. We love the game. We hope developers will keep adding content to it.
Space Rangers 2 has been one of our favorites for a decade. While this doesnt have planet RTS or story missions, it does scratch an itch. One huge omission: the ship part search engine is missing so you have just wander around hoping to stumble upon better gear. Also the military fleets are severely nerfed. Pirates and domies run all over them, even when there is a full fleet and bases present.

It brings you back. Its a treat when games you love on PC go mobile. Gameplay has been smooth so far and its very similar to the PC counterpart. Just started on our IOS so Ill iPad are the review as we play more.
We've enjoyed this game while recovering from an illness that kept us from focusing for longer than 15 min at a time. So this game was perfect for doing a mission or two at a time (tasks). There could be better development of the introduction and a story. There are a few components you have to figure out yourself, but we think that the issue would be resolved if the story line was developed and integrated with a better tutorial. With a better story line that developed into a more specific goal, we would increase to 5 star.
Its been a while since Ive played a turn-based game. We never did play the classic to this title, however many space games Ive played in the past doesnt compare to this game. The ship and race that you choose feels as if it highly impacts the game (maybe it does, we dont know as Ive only completed the first quest). The quest are also story driven, youll see it in the form of comic strips. Even though Ive only played an hour or so, we can easily say that so much attention is focused on the details. Its definitely worth a try. We may give it more stars when Im further in the game, however being asked to rate this game after Ive only completed the first quest( going from introduction, character creation, to complete the first mission and all the dialogue in between), is ridiculous as theres only so much to be rated on yet.
Ive only played a little, but enjoyable so far.
We have loved playing the pc version of this game for many years and im so happy to have it on our ipad. Thank you for making it. We dont like the pay style. We would be happy paying a flat fee to have it. Thanks again.
Ive been waiting for someone to bring this game to iOS. Im surprised it didnt happen sooner. This is a must try for anyone who loves space RPGs. Keep those updates coming! Its great so far.
Although it would be great to have some planetary battles its really close to the one played in the past.
We would give a better rating if we wasnt asked to rate the game after the FIRST quest. We barely know anything yet. Ill come back later.
