We really enjoy this game, and for those that don't know, making a hexagon in a color that is not one of the required ones gives you extra moves. Anyways, we beat level 100, but there's nothing left! Please make more levels so we can keep playing, otherwise we'll delete the app if we're not using it.
Loved this game and literally was addicted and determined to solve each level. The levels are not impossible but the further you go the more you have to think ahead, like in chess, because your pieces disappear and you need to plan your moves. Our biggest complaint is there arent anymore levels after level 100. The runner up complaint would be to explain the lightening bolt boosters lol.
This is a great way to pass some time when you dont want to think too much.
Good game makes you use your brain. Logic and puzzle lovers will like this one.
This game freezes permanently and it really bugs us, but each time we delete and download again. This time it only got to level 15, but the time before it was about level 50 and The time before that it was level 35. It drives us crazy but we like it enough to start over.
We love this game, but at least once a day the game crashes and loses our progress for 1-3 levels. Also those that haven't figured it out–getting hexagons in colors not in your level goals give you extra moves.
Hexy! Is a great game that is easily addicting, our one problem is that once we got to level 15 many glitches began. These including the game screen freezing and the exit button and bottom bar missing. We don't want to restart our progress but we cannot continue the game. A thing that we enjoy is how your hearts don't run out that quickly. We believe that this game is an amazing game that challenges the brain and helps with color/shape coordination and problem solving. We would definitely encourage people to download this game.
Great twist on the original game! We're at a point where we just play (color6) when we have time to kill, but we never lose… So we're just building our score with no end. This game is great because we can play with a goal in mind instead of just killing time endlessly. You could add more explanations though… Some things we had to just had to figure out alone… The stars for example! You need to do a certain # of moves to get all 3 stars, but there's no way to know how many moves you have left. Also the shade of yellow is hard to differentiate. Please change partial/full stars to a different color! Full stars = BRIGHT yellow, empty stars=black, partial stars=white or some other color we often only get 2/3 stars because our 3rd star wasn't actually full yet.. At least add fireworks or some notification when you get a FULL star.
We really enjoy playing this game. The levels are challenging, but in a good way. The only thing that annoys us is that all the boosters are not explained, especially the lightning bolt. The other boosters are self-explanatory, but the lightning bolt doesnt make any sense. Also, the game shouldnt immediately throw you into a level as soon as you press start but rather take you to the level map. Other than that, the game is great, the ads can be excessive and encourage the player to only play when they are not connected to WiFi. But yeah, if you can add a tutorial than can be accessed at any point we would gladly move this up to a 5 star review.
Enjoyed this game for a while. Until we got about 3/4 of the way through and it literally became impossible. Pieces disappear on the board after youve placed them and you basically cannot make full hexagons. Over it now.
We were really enjoying this game until we came back to play it mid-level, and all the pieces along the bottom were just suddenly missing. There is no way to quit the level and go back to the main screen, there is NOTHING there to click on. Just the hex board with your progress, and no way to move on or quit. We see that others have this same problem. We are so disappointed to see that the developers contact goes through Facebook. We do not have Facebook, so we have no way of getting help for this app. We guess Ill just have to delete it.
We can 100% agree with other reviews, its a great problem solving game and exercises the brain.As a game we would rate 4Stars but need some fixing app wise. Ive experience the same exact glitches with the puzzle piece bar missing, to pause and pull up menu option missing as well. We are not able to continue any progress unless we delete the game entirely, which Ive done twice because we love the game so much but it seems to happen somewhere along the process every time we download the app.
We used to play this every day and now the buttons are gone, so it is unplayable. We can't even get to the menu. :(.
We like it, but there are a lot of glitches. It crashes almost every time you play more than one level without closing it out and opening it back up again. Right now, we can't seem to play because the pieces are just gone and even if we close it out there is nowhere we can go to try and change the level or start it over.
Level 9, not enough turns given to even solve the puzzle. They also give you every other color but the color you need. It is frustrating and ridiculous.
We love playing this game, it's fun and a great way to kill time but we've now beat the same level 3 times and haven't progressed to the next one. It keeps crashing once we get to the next level then starts us back at the previous one. Pretty annoying :/.
We love this game but we're basically stuck on level 25 because it keeps force closing the app itself then It basically takes us back to level 25.
After months and months of complaints, why hasn't the company fixed their bugs?? For us, the game keeps disappearing the playing pieces and won't let us go back to the menu page to start over. This is the third time it has happened. We have to keep deleting the app and reinstalling, and we inevitably have to start over on the levels. Come on already, when will you fix this.
Playing is fun, but we cant connect progress to Facebook so reinstalling the app you lose everything and have to start over. Why is that important? The next flaw is that somewhere around level 40-50 the next pieces toolbar disappears and there is no way to get it back except to uninstall and reinstall the app. We did this and got back up to around level 50 and the same thing happened. Cant start over again so Im done with this app.
Cute game, very addicting, but itll freeze on you one day and theres no way to fix it. Dont bother with this.
Fun game but we watched the countdown to free lives go down to zero and then it started over without giving us lives. This needs fixed soon. Would love to keep the game but considering deleting it for this reason.
This game is addicting, but it crashes constantly. It literally makes our phone restart. And when it does, it sends us back a couple of levels! We ended up replaying level 34 seven different times. So annoying.
We love the game we had gotten so fire in the game 73 and it is Glitching so bad it worked yesterday it goes right back to our game we had not finished yesterday and won't bring any of the pieces up we need to play and pretty much all function of the game is gone we had no glitches for the longest time now this really.
Liked the game, a good challenge. But once it freezes you can't ever log out and back in or anything to fix it. Just uninstall and lose all your progress.

The game stopped working after level 70. It wouldn't show the game pieces no matter how many times we killed and restarted the app. Very disappointing.
On certain levels, level 10 for instance, the goal is to create a certain amount of red and yellow hexagons but the box at the bottom that provides the puzzle pieces doesn't provide you with enough of the red color to create enough hexagons to beat the level. We've used every red hexagon provided and used them perfectly and still there is not enough pieces to beat the level. This is maybe because there is an excess of blue tiles given when blue hexagons aren't even needed to beat the level. Please fix this developers.
Why dont the makers fix the problem people have been complaining about for years.
Ive had to delete the app and download again only to have it miss the bottom half of the screen. Frustrating.

We reached a certain level and then it glitched and we cant play it past that level ugh we wanna friggen play!! The app support button leads us to a blank page Im so frustrated.
This game was fun until level 78. We hate level 78.
PLEASE fix it to stop crashing our phone. Yesterday our phone started making the emergency amber alert noise. It wouldn't stop till we closed out of Hexy. Just one example of how the ap hijacks our phone. LOVE THE GAME THOUGH.
We really like the game but then when we get to a certain point it just stops working and get so annoyed.
Love the game but it keeps glitching and sending us back 2-5 levels each time. It locks our phone completely where we have to reenter with our security code/thumb print. Will give a 5 star when it's fixed.

A challenge shouldn't come from complete luck of getting a piece or color you need. We shouldn't have to shuffle through five blues for a puzzle that doesn't need blues.
We love this game but every update pushed we have to start over. Sorry but we're deleting this and even the paid for version of this game for good.
You need to give a brief description of the features , for example what is the lighting bolt used for & how do you use it.
Great game! The difficulty increases as you progress, and it's a nice way to pass time and work your brain a little. They make it fairly easy to earn extra diamonds by watching short ads, and you actually win a significant amount if you give it a few tries. No need to spend any money in the app when you run out of lives, which is nice.
We're hooked… Seems so simple. Just build hexagons out of colored blocks, sure no problem. At first! As the levels increase, the margin for error decreases. Finding the best possible place for each block, seeing all the possibilities, & fulfilling the goal with in the allotted number of moves becomes quite challenging. Although frustrating at times, it is still just a game. If you get angry, no harm no foul. If you screw up, oh well, try it again. Great distraction, inspirational problem solving, & if you wanna yell at the blocks, go for it! Nice way to blow off some steam w/ out the worry hurt human feelings :).
We really like the game but the app randomly crashes and locks up our phone.
Lol release an update to fix your mess up… Didn't fix it Third time!!!! Are you frickin serious? You release an update that fixed it all and then your game once again screws up and we're back to start. We've logged into fb again and still our progress is gone. Idk why we keep trying. Piece of crap game Second time this has happened. We're logged in using fb and we have been sent back to level 1 twice now. After the update this morning we're done. We worked hard to get to the level we were at only to have to start over again. Waste of a game.
Got up to level 48 and once we updated, we started at the beginning. So we linked it with Facebook. Never updating AGAIN! Besides losing all our progress it's a great game.
We usually don't mind ads in our games. We can understand why developers put them in the game. The problem we have with them it that the game is almost unplayable because of them. They cover up the board that tells you what the goals for the level are. Cannot get past level 3 because we don't know what the game wants from us. Fix quickly, otherwise game will be a huge failure.
Game updated at level 45 and reset back to beginning. Logged in with Facebook, started over and got to level 72, and the game wouldn't work at all. Now we're back on level one, even when we log in with Facebook.
