What Makes Da Kine Maps Stand Out
Create beautiful old-school hex adventure maps for your tabletop gaming group.
A Tap and Paint interface lets you quickly lay out landmasses, mountains, forests, bodies of water and coastlines.
Markers let you annotate villages, castles, mines, camps, caves, ruins and other structures.
A Template system lets you start with common terrain like a river valley, wetlands, forest, or sea. You can make your own templates to quickly generate variations of your maps as your game progresses.
Once your map is complete, you can print it, save it to your camera roll, or share it through social media.
Maps are scaled with standard 1/2" hexes for play or alternately 1/4" hexes for large regional maps. Perfect for most pen and paper roleplaying games.
The starter tile set comes with 27 types of terrain 18 point of interest marker symbols.
All tiles and markers are high resolution images generated from vector graphic drawings.
This Adventure game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Ok, as a DM, let us just say that we love this app! While it looks/feels young, there is SOOO much potential for this app! We would love to be a part of its growth/development.
A lovely little app with a solid beginning of features. However it has gone un-updated for four years now, and lacks a lot of features that would improve the experience significantly: fairly basic things like a color-picker for custom tiles, the ability to specify a map size of arbitrary height and width in hexes, maybe a way to import custom icons or a line tool for depicting roads, rivers, and borders.
Needs snow tiles for like, snowy places, like Antarctica. Need some new tiles for custom Pokmon apps and air tile and wind tile.
We like how simple this app is to use, but we wish we could create titles for new maps that we create. We also think there should be an option to have the hexes outlined if desired.
Id like to give this more stars but it appears to be abandonware which is too bad, it had promise.
