We really HATE how when we color the eyebrow or nostril the whole face or half the face is colored the same color when we don't want it that color. So that's why we give color Noir 4 stars. But other than that color Noir is the best coloring app we have ever had.
We love this because it represents us! Our sisters and brothers and our ancestors above all!! Thank you for creating this app.
Would love to give it 5 stars, but a lot of the art is lacking in creativity. Some of the backgrounds are patterns that serve no purposes and very time consuming to color. Its as if youre just trying to fill in a space vs giving us actual items to color. There is the ability to create colors, but would like to be able to create more iridescent and blended colors. Other then your People category the other categories are pitiful and we we would give them 1 star. We subscribe to many other color apps and yours is the only one that never delivers new pics on time.
We like the app because of the representation of all complexion of our community, but we do have some suggestions. The option to change the size of pencil would be nice to contour around the nose nd other curved body parts. Additional tools would nice such as a spray can for texture for hair. Templates to change overall look of each coloring project. And most importantly a gallery where your finished coloring go so you dont have search the app for them. Awesome concept just needs fine tuning for the price.
This app is absolutely wonderful, but there is one thing we would change. We wish there was more brushes, but we are still new to this app but overall, we think this app is one of the best apps we have ever experienced in our life and Im so happy whoever made this made this.

Omg the best and so addictive has adds but they are only like 5s or more after every pic your color + they have every color you can think of!! :-).
We love this adult coloring book. Its literally the only one out where you can switch modes from 1 click to really feel like youre coloring if you have a pencilto a extent. How to pick colors needs a better. Needs an easier way to go through the colors. More tools needed to really customize the color you want. When you zoom in you can literally see the actual person (creepy). The further you scroll the pictures gets worse being see through without even clicking on it. A better selection needs to be done in all categories. The most pictures are in the people category. Again love this app, great idea. Just put some work into it. If youre going to do something do it BIG and with CONFIDENCE.

Yeah. We thought this would be more like other coloring apps Ive used where you just tap a number and match it to the same number in a picture. As much as we appreciate the ability to choose colors that represent more closely the spectrum of our peopleas opposed to matching numbers and random colorsnavigating this app was a bit too challenging for us and the cognitive issues Ive been experiencing lately. We really this idea we just wish it were a bit simpler for us to use. (Cognitive issues are not fun.) Thank you so much though for having a better idea.
Our only complaint is that twice in a half hour the ad got stuck and we had to close the app and restart. The second time it happened the ad was Vita Crossword. We love the pics, also a few of the pics are duplicated.

This app is fun to use and the photos are a breathe of fresh air. We enjoy the picture options and the color scale options also. This is definitely one of new favorite coloring App. Well as of now its the only one we use.
This game makes us feel happy and makes us feel like Im actually coloring.
We love to color and have a bunch of for us by us physical coloring books but we wanted a coloring app we could do on our phone and iPad when we didnt feel like busting all our stuff out and Im so happy we found this! Other coloring books dont include us when they create the female and male images. Like yes we can color her dark skin buttt her features and hair wont fit . The color options are bombbb anddd you can make your own colors! None of the other 3 coloring books we downloaded had this option. They also didnt have the GIF feature, for when youre done. We love it so much Im buying the premium version lol.
We love doing this with our 11 year old daughter. She is always so excited when she completes a picture. Super glad to have this for her and other little brown girls as well.
Full disclosure: am not Black. We believe we can only progress through a commitment to representation! We dont use coloring apps much but when we do, Im very particular (living that ASD life). The animals and other nature images with detailed patterns made us immediately change our free subscription to yearly ($30 in 12/2023). The human pictures are splendid. We hope yall can curate more small creator content, as those images have the most heart. <3.

Only thing we wish is that it was totally free or at least offer an monthly subscription instead. Other than that we love the app its very relaxing.
So we were really considering buying this app due to all the best pictures being premium. However, the lines dont connect properly. There are MANY pictures where we try to color the hair and the face gets colored as well. Or two eyebrows or eyelashes are different colors because it blends with the face. Super frustrating to the point we dont even want to play the free version either.
Although the pictures are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING!!! We Dont like the idea of having to Pay for most of the last 3 categories!! Really Sad!!! We Still Love the app. Enjoying it very much.
When we first played this game it was fun until we discovered the brush tool we wish we could change the sizes because we try to draw other details on the people we love the design but we wish there were more shades of some colors like pink and blue and red and we hope that there could be more pictures that are free and has more things to color and the colors we think its the color we want but its wrong so we hope these changes can be made for more entertainment.
We dont like Im limited to brush effects, or have to pay more to get more images, we were hoping that the pictures that was on the ad was pictures we could actually color.
We love this app some drawing apps dont have black people on it. We always wanted to draw or paint black people, Im glad that they have this now this is our favorite drawing apps. Although, we only drawed two pieces Ill still give it 5 stars.
Saw an ad on instagram and immediately downloaded the app then we read thru the recent reviews the Lake app has featured Artist such as Brooke Rankin who specializes in POC art and the app is $9.99 a MONTH or $39.99 A WHOLE YEAR and youre charging $5.99 A WEEK??? No thanks we didnt even open it & we immediately deleted the app.. Based off the reviews & the cost. Great pics on this ad tho.
We were so excited to discover this particular app since theres not a lot of coloring book apps based on POC, opened the app for the first time only to discover theres a weekly change after the free trial period. We dont mind paying for an app like this if its a one time charge, but how much content is added weekly to justify charging $5.99 each week? Id happily pay that fee to unlock everything all at once, but not every week. We understand developers have expenses, but maybe there could be a couple of different paid subscription offers. Sad we had to delete this app, we had high hopes for a relaxing coloring experience.

CAN YOU ADD A PAINT BY NUMBER OPTION TO THIS APP? That way we get to choose how we want to paint the pictures. We like this APP BUT we PREFER THE PAINT/COLOR BY NUMBER. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO THE DEVELOPER.
It shouldnt take forever to get 1 picture done, gotta go through too many changes.
Theres way to many ads we understand its a money thing but theres way to many every picture its an ad and it ask over and over how many times a week we draw and if we want to be reminded to color even if we choose it itll keep popping up it has great pictures to color but less ads and doing better on the times a week we want to color could fix it all.
This app instantly tries to start charging you for things before you even get started. It somehow signed us up to buy things on 3 different times. Our card was charged mltiple times and when we email them about it no one responds. Do not get this app Pero if you so keep an eye out on your card and your stuff being charged randomly for things you did not buy.
This game keeps our stress levels down and so much peace. When you play this game find someplace quiet and color all the thing you like its lovely after all.

This game is so cool it has one that looks like our mom and dad it kind of looks realistic whenever you color it when youre done it is so realistic this shows why The game is so cool.
We have the subscription and sadly we will not renew it when it is up. Its not worth the price, we cant recall the last time we looked at the app and wanted to color a picture. They only literally have 2 tools to use ( either fill or a pencil) you cant even change the size of the pencil ( there are many free apps that offer that) and they seem to be pouring all of their resources in AI apps. We check social media often and all we see are a bunch of photos created by an AI app ( AI is a big market and there are plenty of apps that do that and companies who specialize in specifically AI)but, not a lot of companies have a coloring book for black people. So, Its GREAT to have an app owned by a black couple and its GREAT to have images that look like us but we cant justify the price. Its frustrating that they can find the time to create new apps but not update anything on the one that is unique.

We LOVE color noir because its not like other games they choose the colors for you but in this game we can choose the colors.
This is a cool game but it is really hard to do something like Color in the people braids but the game is very besides that.
This game shows how something we never felt we never knew there was a BLACK coloring book . The thing is there is a lot of adds but we recommend this game.
