Community Insight:

This is an awesome idle game! The premise is basically D&D, but done in an idle format. You choose your party members, they dungeon crawl, loot, level up, and move on. Whats your part? You control the scroll, potion, skill upgrades (varies from party member to party member), when the enemies get stronger, how loot is rolled, and adventure points. Lets go over some of them. Party members could be a wide assortment of classes, that unlock as you complete the game. Each member has 4 skill trees, and yes you can unlock every one of them! Scrolls are spells that you can cast to help your party progress faster. Potions have a wide assortment of effects, from doubling the XP gain per kill to increasing movement speed, they last for a fair duration, and one potion even increases potion duration. You have dungeons that your party progresses through, when they complete them, you can purchase the dungeon and let it be a passive income. Potions can even double the income! The upgrades can increase the min/max enemies and gold, increase rare item drops, increase item drops, increase potion and scroll drops. You earn adventure points for almost everything your party does, even when offline. You can spend them on a huge assortment of things that will make progression on your next run through even faster/easier, like a 5th party member! Ads, what ads!?! There no ads unless you want a handful of benefits. Double adventure points for 2 hours, yes please. A friendly boss that helps your party for 30 minutes, or how about a group of cows helping, its up to you! You decide ad free, or watch an ad or 6 to get a few buffs. Lets go over the downside of the game. Hasnt been updated if forever, so it crashes, ALOT! So save often! Music gets a little repetitive, as does the combat sounds. Im Gen-X so the graphics dont bother us, but they are 8-bit and quite dated. The class list, while quite a few options once all are unlocked, feels constrained. Last note, Ive been an avid fan of this game for a long while, and will continue to play it. We hope the dev updates the game to at least run smoothly. Id love to see some modern clones, no pay to win/progess/remove ads type, heck make the game a $4-$10 purchase and Ill buy it. All in all, worth a good play through or four.

Awesome idle game, would love an update they dont make em this cool anymore.

Like old school Final Fantasy mixed with the original Diablo, but its an idle game. One of our favorites on ios.

One of the most enjoyable idle games to watch! You can do some actions but they arent at all necessary.

We played this years ago and since there arent many good idle games anymore, we recently reset the save and started over! Fun progression, fun to watch the little guys kill mobs, enough happening that you can stay interacting without feeling pressured, but also good pacing for offline play. Lots of things to unlock and a good prestige and achievement mechanic. The only problem is it hasnt been updated in 6 yrs, and so it sometimes crashes, and that will never be fixed. Id LOVE to see updates for this game and more games from this developer. (And we hope hes ok!) Id also love to see some clones of other developers takes on this idea. AFAIK its the only game like it, overhead isometric idle dungeon crawler. Gimme more.

Why when we have music playing and we log into the game it always turns off our music? Is there an option so it doesnt turn off our music or something? Besides that great game we love it.

Been playing this on and off for 8 ish years now. A third one would be awesome.

Not much to say, we love it, we just hope one day good ol Jim comes back for round three.

We play this game quite a bit but it seems after about 5 minutes it freezes the screen completely and we cannot interact with anything on the screen. Other than a small thing like that its not too bad great game.

So glad we found this game! The developer did this right, the ads are only optional, there are no IAP, and its super easy to pick up and play and get into. We need more good developers like this! The game also plays well and smoothly, and doesnt use battery or much storage. As yet we havent had any of the freezing or crashes some people have mentioned. Im on an iPhone 12 with iOS 15, and its smooth so far. The gameplay itself is just right. We can play a few minutes here and there when we have a break. Just what we were looking for because we dont always want to get into a long strategy session, we want something relaxing, and this is it. The game (and newer app icon once we downloaded it) also looks even better than what the App Store displays. Everything is easy to see and spaced well. Its super easy to navigate and figure out what to do. And seeing your crew fighting the monsters while you upgrade things is a nice touch. Thank you for a great game.

The only idle game on this AppStore that isnt ad filled garbage.

As the title states we love this game. Its fun, easy to pick up and play and a great time sinker. We 100% on android and now that we recently switched to apple, Im excited to dive back in. We highly recommend this game to anyone and hope that the developer continues making amazing games. <3.

Best game on IOS! Just needs to be optimized for the big beautiful screen of todaymaybe some pop menusand itll be perfect. Absolutely love the old school rpg mechanics with an idle twist. If only it filled our phone screen so scrolling through the menus isnt so tedious. Please fix and youll have us as returning player.

Awesome game its really fun and Ive been playing it like crazy lol but it does have one issue , it still freezes sometime , but only sometimes , other than that its a fantastic game.

Title says it all. Clickpocalypse is the perfect game to either run in the background or sit back and watch as your party kills monsters with big numbers.

Used to play on Android all he time. So glad it came here. Just a suggestion for making it spread a bit quicker, add a way to share to social media quickly. Would love to see this game updated and much more wide spread.

NO IAP and no ad popups. Our electronic gaming began with the first Atari console as a kid. These low bit – but well done – graphics bring a smile to our face often. Simple but with much built in customization. Multi classes with unique skill sets. Party level upgrades, game level upgrades. Games are finite but new classes unlock after completion. Party size from 1 to 4 is customizable. We are currently playing games running every class solo. Not much of a finger bruising constant clicking game. Interaction via scroll casting, potion activation. An upgrade category for items, leveling, monster level unlock/retire & more. If you want to begin with power ups there is a set of time limited types that can be activated by watching an ad. Such as having a high level monster join your party, experience multiplier & more. Activate as many as wish at the same time; each one requires watching a single add. Extremely helpful for the first time through the game but NOT necessary to beat the game. Completely optional. That is the ONLY customizable feature that must be activated by watching an ad. And not required. We love this for replay ability. There are still many game level rewards that we have not achieved after a few months with the game. Those rewards are permanent. We have yet to unlock a 5th party member slot and an additional scroll slot. If you enjoy completeness this is going to provide long term enjoyment. Probably not of much appeal to gamers born after 2000.

As a couple of reviews have stated, game freezes a lot. Its a simple game but very enjoyable. If the freezing fixes we will play it often. We contacted the developer and he has stated that he is unable to work on this issue right now, as he is working on other projects and doesnt have the environment to fix this issue. This game does have a web version for those that are interested.

Best game ever. Its crashing now with the ios12 update. We hope Jim Hayes can find time to fix it. Please dont make CLICKPOCALYPSE iii please dont change the game. If we want better adventure graphics Ill play Skyrim. Our brothers and we race each other through the game. Its great.

Clickpocalypse II is the kind of game you boot up twice a day, tap all your upgrades, watch an ad for a booster, and youre done with it. Your choices dont really matter so long as youre logging in to make some kind a progress. You beat the game many times for achievements and slowly unlock permanent boosts that make your part better and better. Great graphics and interface help make this an enjoyable daily clicker, just not one we really sit down and play much.

Its like diablo honestly, just concentrate on specing your characters and spending loot and watch your little ant farm go. Super relaxing to watch. Id love eventually to see an option added to toggle control and fight when you get bored and switch back , and wish there was more of a penalty for death and not a whimp button but all in all Id recommend , kudos to the dev for doing what we consider to be one of the best amalgamations of old school and new school.

This game is THE only idler where we've played it nonstop since its release… Completely free, no intrusive adds whatsoever, offline progression up to 11 hours we mean it has it all! We feel dirty not having to pay a cent for this gem.

A grand adventure in your pocket that makes its own progress so you dont have to. Only improvement id make is add a tip jar so we can kick the devs a little extra scratch as a thank you.

A fun and easy game, sit back, get some popcorn, and watch it play.

Many Christmases ago, we went to buy a doll for our son. We reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As we rained blows upon him, we realized there had to be another way.

Perfection. Can't stop playing, so many rewards to unlock. Love this game.

We played this game on our web browser for a long time, even before there was any prestige available. This is the idle game that all other idle games aspire to be! Thank you so much for porting this to IOS.

Love this game. Just wish our phone had a bigger screen to see it better.

This has to be one of the best idle games we have played so far, enough to where we even wrote a review for the first time. :) It's highly addictive and easy to play, idle time can be added through (ap) adventure points and many other things as well. We would have to give this a true 5 star rating for the fact that it keeps pulling us back in. For those who like idle games give this one a try.

Much better than most of the idle games on the market. Idle timer can be extended with points earned over time. Easy to jump in and out. Can be played actively with potions and scrolls or left to idle for periods of time.

Great idle game, though we wish the idle timer was longer than 3 hours, we don't get why they wouldn't allow it to be 8-12 hours long.

This is great we play it everywhere. At the gym, at dinner, on the toilet, mowing the lawn, while walking, while studying, cooking, watching movies, and more. Pretty neat.

One thing we might suggest is that there should be more detailed infos concerning the effect of potions, dmg / reduction calc formula and such. But overall this is completely well made idle game for ipad users.

Fortunately the auto save is pretty good. But the freezing/crashing issues make it such that its a game we open every few hours to collect offline progress, tap to level up and assault new castles, and close. Sometimes it freezes and crashes WHILE calculating offline progress, but we digress Also, Rogue, Thief, and CK (youll know when you unlock it) are the best classes.

Its a good game dont get us wrong Ive been coming back and playing it daily but the only issue we have with it is that it crashes and when it does it tends to reset our progress most of the time not by much but its just annoying having to go back and remember what all we clicked on every 20 25 minutes.

We found it to be enjoyable and had a good time with it.

Game is no longer compatible with the current version of iOS and crashes frequently. Checks all the boxes for a good idle/incremental, though.

Honestly we love the game, all the unique enemy types and party characters are nice to see. On the other hand, the app overrides any music playing with the in game soundtrack. If we could listen to music while playing the game we would get on the app more often.

Would be one of the easiest 5 stars ever, but the game does crash very often.

Only complaint is that it stops our music when we open the app.

For one of those idle type games, this is a wonderful game. Its one of our most played mobile games. Its absolutely worth playing. There are ads you can choose to watch, but they in no way hamper other aspects of the game. It does crash a lot, though. It can cost you some progress, but since its an idle game, that mostly just means youve wasted a few minutes. Loading the ads often fails, then crashes the app. Sometimes, the game will freeze just randomly. And we still say its a solid game. Wish developer would come back for an update, though.

Would give it 5 stars but the game CONSTANTLY freezes. Occasionally loosing you 5 hours of progress. Would be a 3 but they seem to have taken steps to minimize. Still really annoying though.

This is a fun game but our only problem is it keeps freezing when we log back in after being away for a few hr. We have to crashed to app out 3-4 times before it works properly until we leave again for a few hr then have to do that all again. If you dont mind having to do that download this game. If having to reset an app multiple times just time play it makes you mad just skip this game.

When the game decides to load, it works fine. But it crashes at least 2-3 times anytime we try to open it.

This game is great, but it crashes a lot. 50% of the time, we lose our progress. But its fun anyways. We still hate waking up and losing the progress overnight. IPhone 15 Pro.

This is a super old game the developer used to work on. Im surprised its still working although theres a few performance bugs. We think we still prefer the PC version but mobile can be easier to access for sure. We hope the devs might work on another game but it appears theyve long since moved on to other projects. Still fun to play, definitely putting this in our nostalgia folder.

Fun little idle type game but we grow more tired of it every time it freezes, which is once every 5-10 minutes max.

Idea is good but not sure if the devs are still even working on this game.

Cool game, but crashes about 80% of your play time. Why do garbage apps make it to the store.

Please for the love of god update this game and fix it. It's actually really good for an idle game but the amount of crashes/freezes are insane. Please fix it.
