We really enjoy Ikemen Sengoku and the Ikemen Series as a whole, but we wish there was a way to earn coins without spending real money. Tapjoy isnt very helpfulmost offers are limited or still cost money. Despite that, its a great game and we highly recommend it, along with the other Ikemen games.
The game is amazing, but Ive been waiting 4 years for Ranmarus storyline, and still havent gotten it. Theyve come out with new characters, new events, new everything, but we still havent gotten a storyline for Ranmaru. Its disappointing, honestly. It would be 5 stars if they actually kept up with the original characters instead of making new ones.
Ive played this game on and off for close to a decade. We already knew from early experience that it could be a dangerous money sink, but we decided that just once we wanted to see what it felt like – and what it cost – to complete an entire story event. With 24 hours and change left on the current event, we can honestly say the decision brought us zero pleasure. In fact, we feel physically sick. Even using our Shaved Ices as frugally as possible – almost exclusively during lucky times – Im $250 USD in the hole just completing all the endings. The Personal Glamour bonuses would probably cost us another $30. Learning the true and revolting extent of Cybirds greed through this experiment has us seriously questioning whether we want to continue supporting them at all. We understand needing to make a profit, but this is beyond the pale.
Whenever we get to the part where we give our name it says we came across a gaming error and have to restart the game. We have done it 5 or 6 times and it wont work.
Sick game dude we did yuki and sasukes route but the one that stood out to us the most was kennyos so good job with that.kennyo rocks give that man more like idk uhh photos trustt.
This was our very first otome game, and it will always have a special place in our heart, but its reached a point where we find all the new content borderline unreadable. We loved all the act 1 stories and we still love all the characters, but time travel is a huge component of the story and we feel that theyve failed to develop that aspect of the worldbuilding in a way that is enjoyable and satisfying to read and that does not detract from the story. The act 2 and 3 time travel stuff is equal parts annoying and inconsistent and actively impedes our enjoyment of the stories. Additionally, theyve started rapidfire releasing sequels and eternal love routes while they still havent released Ranmarus main route even though his character has been out for a few years now. Its weird to us that act 2 characters are starting to get EL routes and other characters have all their sequels out when they still havent bothered putting his main route out. Heck, all of act 3 came out before this act 2 character, which makes no sense. That being said, a lot of the content in this game is really good. We loved most of the routes Ive read and am still actively involved in the fandom even though Ive deleted the app. We suppose our only point here is that its wonderful, but only to a point, at least in our opinion. We wish the writing team had put more thought into fleshing out the worldbuilding in a way that strengthened the story and overall reading experience rather than detracting from it, and we wish theyd released the sequels and EL routes in a more thoughtful way, but oh well.
We love the stories in this game, but it becomes very hard to play after a while. They no longer offer free premium currency (coins) for watching videos, so the only way to get bonus stories and special attire (needed to unlock special stories in the main routes) is to pay real-world money. With how many coins you have to pay for each bonus story, you can pay upwards of $7 for a story that takes 2 minutes to read! We could almost deal with that (the bonus stories arent required to play the base game after all), but the game constantly gives us errors so we have to close and reopen it. It doesnt work on our high-speed wifi at all and still gives us errors even when we switch to 5G. Now previous attire in our closet isnt loading properly and we think isnt counting toward our beauty score in lessons. We know both the game and our iPhone are updated, so we dont get why there are so many problems.
Im so sad because we loved this game and it worked on our old phone, but on our new one, itll only load the opening page. When we click any button (play, customer service, data transfer), all we get is a yellow screen and nothing else. Cant finish the story or get help in the app!! Please fix it.

Ill give it an extra star that at least this game actually started, unlike the previous one, but the amount of times characters were just floating faces was creepy. Add on that when we finally got to pick a route we couldnt even start because every time the main page tried to load it was constant notifications and news updates. Like, thanks for keeping us updated but could you not throw those updates in front of our face one after the other when Ive just started the game? We cant even play our chosen route because we spent so long tapping through the updates we lost all our interest in playing any further. Ill give the company this-their games so far a consistent waste of our time.
We have been playing this game for a few years now. Ive seen some reviews saying its pay to progress, so Im going to share some tips for successful enjoyment of the game: 1. Gold is a thing! You can definitely freeplay this game if you accumulate enough gold. You just have to do Princess Lessons regularly, log in daily (gold is frequently the log in prize), and accumulate 50 friends and greet them daily. Theres walkthroughs online that tell you how much gold you need to clear a route. 2. Skip story events. Theyre spend-real-money pits. Save up the Glamor pieces youre given as login prizes for a couple of years and then spend them all on your favorite characters birthday event. 3. Play the collection events, but only as a way to challenge yourself to see how many hearts you can collect. You can rack up about 200 hearts just by timing your gameplay and Princess Lessons to Lucky Times, when you get double, triple or four times the hearts. You cant get attire without spending real money. 4. You dont have to read the routes in order. The earlier routes can get repetitious, yes – all the Romantic Endings and Dramatic Endings seem to hit similar beats. But the routes that came out later in the first season (Mitsuhide, Sasuke and Kennyo) and all the second season routes are better written. 5. Pace yourself. You dont need to read chapters every day, the number of tickets you get each day is exactly five. Nowadays, we only read during heart collection events and just login for the daily prize and to keep up Princess Lessons and friend greetings during story events. Hope this helps! Its possible to enjoy this game without spending a lot of money – and it IS enjoyable, with likable characters and an MC who at least has some backbone. Theres a reason this is the only Ikmen game still installed on our phone.

Its a really good otome game with so many stories its like you can never really get bored. Im sad though because recently it wont load at all and just get a blank screen. Is there any fixes for it.

These stories are our favorite, we like the music, the characters and the story line isnt cheesy or the dialogue. The vampire or prince thats 17+ is all about sexy time which we dont like, these stories are actually nice. Our favorite is Leyasus story.
Okay this game is great, story is better than ikemen prince but its so hard to earn hearts for the events like how can someone get 600 hearts in ___ amount of time without spending money to get it?? And compared to ikemen prince, its quite tedious to earn free diamonds but in this game you literally cant earn them for free (coins) unless you pay 2 points in summary- would be great if it was easier to earn hearts for events & be able to earn free diamonds like ikemen prince.
Ive almost completely every route in the game. At the beginning, we loved everything about the characters and all of the mechanics, but overtime it all started getting really boring and not worth the 10-15 minutes the 5 chapter tickets get you through. Takes about a month to finish just one route, and by the end you get really bored by it. Theres always events going on too, which takes out the special aspect to them. Will we finish the game? We suppose, but its not as enjoyable anymore. Its all so repetitive.
Can you put this on american switch already? We miss it.
We played the game four years ago. It was nice, perfect. Deleted it and downloaded it again four years later and it saved our progress. We didnt know how to start over or even delete any of our progress. We didnt want to delete our account since it was such a long process and there was no guarantee Id be able to make a new account with the same email address anyway so we tried deleting the account and downloading it again multiple times. Same thing. At the end of the day we figured out how to change our route and it asked us for a suitor key which we didnt have cause its been four years and we dont remember finishing the game. We had no idea what was even going on where we stopped so we ended up just deleting the game.
We decided to try this otome after finishing another one, and we can say that its not NEARLY as bad as people say in other reviews. The plot is really good (Ive played through a few routes ourselves), there is another form of currency that is FREE, and 5 chapter tickets a day isnt that bad. We love how this game is still getting updates, whether it be for events or new characters for Act 2. A lot of people complain about how pricey coins are, but to be honest, we dont feel the need to buy any. There is another currency (gold) which you can obtain through princess lessons and check ins. While you dont get premium endings, the normal ones are perfectly fine!! Moving on to the 5 chapter tickets you get a day, we get why people complain. Its a small amount and the story gets really good, but 5 IS ACTUALLY QUITE A BIT WITH HOW EACH CHAPTER IS ARRANGED! In two days you complete one whole chapter. We rather go slower than be done with each route in a few days. Each route takes about a month, which tbh isnt that bad. We tend to use our chapter tickets around mid-day rather than immediately after we wake up just so we have something to look forward to. The game isnt very high maintenance, and with us being someone with a busy schedule, we like that! Our only complaint would have to be its a little difficult to learn how to use in the beginning. For some reason, we only got the tutorial during our second route (Yukimura). Maybe its just route-specific since we started with Kenshin, but it took about a week to learn the ropes with the princess lessons, castle gacha, and love stories. Overall, we really love the game and cant wait to finish all of the routes.
The game is fun and the stories are intriguing, however we think the avatar challenges that MAKE you choose items are absurd. If youve already spent money on the game and dressed your avatar how you like, why must we buy something we dont even like just to continue the story? We spent $20 on story tickets just to be stopped by the stupid challenges like this, it makes us regret buying them in the first place. People who pay money to play should get some sort of exemption from these tedious challenges. We dont think Ill be spending anymore after this.
This game is so laggy. Every time we open it, we have to restart it a few times to get it to work. We even turned off animation and voice messages, updated to the latest version, and restarted our phone. Still laggy and slow. Freezes too.
It loads very slowly, and given how much loading scenes there are between practically every page, thats a lot of time spent just waiting for the game to load rather than playing the game. Not sure if its just us. Its an issue thats been going on for a few years now.
The game is good however the gems we have to watch takes forever. How about a login with gems?! We dont like wasting money on the gems but we prefer the gems to be in logins The boys is handsome but we dont like how they do the gems though :(.
Its a good game but there are a few miss spellings and it doesnt explain that much on how to get coins we had to search it up and you basically have to pay or watch 500 ads to get what you need overall we like the story and its a good game.
Ive been playing ikemen sengoku for over a year now and we can easily say its the best mobile otome game ive ever played! Its fun, the stories are incredible, the characters are fun and charming and they all have unique stories. Ive found ways to relate to each character route ive played through. The events are also fun to play and offer great rewards! Ive played a bit of ikmen revolution and ikemen vampire, but none of them have the hold IkeSen has on us! Highly recommend this game (ps, shingen takeda is best <3).
We love this game but the events are so expensive! Plus pleas open up some more routes with the others that havent had a route yet. We love it and will continue to play just not the events.
Sengoku has many of the best stories out of the all cybird ikemen offerings, but the app is so clunky to use and theres been no attempt made at improving it in the years Ive been playing it. Even worse than that, obtaining the special in-game currency (which is coins in Sengokus case) is a nightmare, especially compared to their other ongoing games. You only get 5 a day from watching ads. You dont even get 10 a day, like Vampire offers. You dont get any for starting a new route like you do in Prince, Revolution, and Vampire. You dont get any as a login bonus like, again, Vampire, Prince and Revolution offer. You dont get any as rewards for during special events, like, yet again, the other three games. Even with the coin system being extremely stingy in Sengoku, the they dont compensate for this difficulty by making it any easier whatsoever to buy attire for premium stories than the other games. Seeing as the last premium story in every route costs 900 coins, this means free-to-play players have to sit through daily ads for coins for 6 straight months in order to acquire them. We want to rate this game 5 stars based on the quality of the stories, but its too hard to play and the app is too outdated to use to deserve that.
Ive been playing the game since 2018 Ive watched the additional characters get added and would do their stories upon release. We had a ton of stuff that we had accrued overtime. We took a year break from it because we were waiting for more stuff to drop. We open the game and all our data is gone and so on. And we have no way of recovering it. With iPhone data transfers are never usually an issue Ive changed phones 3 times and Ive received all our game data. Im a little confused as to how our data just randomly disappeared and now Im at the beginning once again. Which is extremely disheartening to the point where we just cant go through all the stories all over again since it takes such a long time. Ill always love the game but years of stuff and data is gone so we dont think we can play it anymore.
We started playing this game shortly before Hideyoshis release, which if we remember correctly was when this game wasnt even a year old, so Ive been around for a long time now. Once youve played long enough and read all the routes it kinda gets boring and you just wait for new routes to be released or a new event to be released. Honestly Ive been just loging in everyday to get our daily gift and to greet friends for gold and thats it until the next event or route release. We love this game a lot though and the humour and art here is so much better and other places. And that music score? Chefs kiss, or should we say, Masamunes kiss.
We had it since last year? Idk. Gud game. We highly suggest a playthrough guide for your second to third playthrough so you can get the full love bonus- unless you want to spend a bunch of elixirs and most likely get stuck or have to spend real life money. Idk. Never had to deal with it because Ive used playthrough guides since the beginning. Anyways make it a habit to log in everyday and get your log-in bonus+greet your friends. Itll help you in the long run, especially if you dont want to spend coins on special attire for love challenges. Only problem is how much money Ive spent on it. To get special attire in story events/collection events youve got to drop some irl money and be very diligent with your princess lessons/glam offs once your stamina replenishes and save your chapter tickets. We gave it 4 stars because its pretty much a pay to win but it can still be fun if youre consistent with the things we mentioned above.
We just started the love challenge thing and we need to buy a kimono but we dont have enough coins and when we watch the ads it only gives us 1 coin What do we do now.

Ive been playing for about three years and we love the storylines. Ieyasu, Ranmaru, and Yoshimoto are our favs! We would really love seeing a female love interest tho.
We love this game and find The story very interesting. The art is also very beautiful. There is one thing though, while we do love the game as a whole, we love challenges can get very annoying as the amount you have to pay goes up it makes it almost impossible to do without paying actual money. We understand that money Hass to come from somewhere, but we think the game would be much more enjoyable if they lowered the love challenges and found a different area to profit from. Other than that we love the game.
The game is actually quite fun to play the only problem we had was to get passed a chapter we had to do this event which required for us to get 300 coins.. And 300 coins cost 2.99 and well Ive never spent money on a game like this, so we had to delete the game because we wasnt able to get 300 coins and continue reading.
Our first problem (that is a huge problem with otome/ikmen games): Theres absolutely no diversity in the character customization or characters. Theres not much to expand on here, almost all of the characters are pale, tall, and slender with a slightly muscular build, with the exception of we think one character who has tan skin. Its definitely not uncommon for Japanese men to be tall and / or slender, but its also not uncommon for Japanese people in general to have tan skin. And our second problem is that all the characters besides Sasuke and Mitsunari treat the player like an object, or a pile of trash. Now, we understand this is the 1500s, and that some people like tsunderes, but otomes arent really supposed to be realistic. We personally think its astounding how almost all the characters will either treat you like crap, not take no for an answer, or even say theyre willing to kill you, then not even apologize and expect you to fall in love with them. Im sorry, but those 3 traits are incredibly unattractive to us and we wish there were more options for romanceable characters that dont act like animals. Generally, the concept of the game isnt really our type of thing, but it still interests us andI think this game couldve been executed better. There are quite a few flaws within the characters that makes liking them impossible even after character development. So, Im not saying not to download this game because there are characters that will be nice to you from the start and are understanding, theres just not a lot of them.
We finished Motonaris story and we got the full love bonusi went to go check it out in the presenr box, came back andi cant get back. We never got to read the full love bonus, we never got to switch to the dramatic route, nothing. It forced us to start a new story and even we choose motonari again it forced us to start from episode one. It literally made us cry we worked hard and paid so much money on this game (well over 40 bucks) just to be scammed into giving it all up because we didnt stay on a certain page (when it LITERALLY gives you the option to see your prizes, we.e. Leave the page) never again. We had fun, but we cant justify this.
This is one of the best games with some of the best stories. And even better, it doesnt make you pay money to move through the game. We will want to keep replaying this and replaying this. We highly recommend.
Ive always been a fan of Cybird & loved Sengokus bday events but this year Cybird has decided to ignore birthdays starting with Hideyoshi/ Keiji & now Sasuke/ Montonari. Guess they only want to support money maker characters because we celebrated Kenshin & Ieyasu this year! Not gonna throw money at their events till they address this ongoing issue for all the broken-hearted Mcs.
So theres a character named yuki, and we almost named ourselves yuki. Just thought Id say that.
We like the first few chapters of the story, the characters, and the art, but within a day we already cant read more of the story without paying real money for it. Its asking for 300 coins and you can get 5 free a day, if you watch a video for each. It gives you 5 chapters a day, but there are regular intervals in the story where you have to pay to continue the story. Id rather just purchase a full game.

We TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE DOWNLOAD! This is far by the best otome game in the world! Even your channel is great! Though we have an old generation phone, so we cannot download the other Ikmen games. If you could, make Ikmen game for apple phone/iPads for the older generations please! Else, Ikmen is the best otome app creators.
We really do love this game and there so may interesting things to learn about each love interest ! We really do hope you continue to add more and more to this game.
