We downloaded this on a whim, and man, am we happy we did. This is currently our favorite iOS shmup. The bomb/meter/scoring system is simple, but satisfying. We do wish that there were more levels and ship types, but oh, well. Ill be crossing our fingers for a sequel.
Graphics, sound, patterns and scoring are all up to the level of other Cave Co. Titles. This game feels like it was designed to be played with touch controls from the bottom up, you get some very creative enemy patterns you probably wouldnt find in a console or arcade shooting game. Definitely worth 8 bucks, now put it on PC so we can buy it again haha. We find this more fun than Gothic Wa Mahou Otome as well.
Love to have a modern cave styled game in 2020, and would definitely buy an additional copy if it were ported to switch.
Its the best game we ever played as far as a lot of hell shooters Ive played so far.
Ive always wanted to try bullet hells but could never get over how old and outdated they look. This game looks great and sounds great, which convinced us to finally make the plunge. Love the bomb mechanic, it helps beginners like us increase skill without dying instantly. This game needs more attention. Its a shame the developers dont seem active anymore.
It's definitely the best shump on the Istore. It's also really cleverly arranged with great patterns, good pc's and a genuinely fun twist on the genre. We won't spoil it but if you're a skilled expert or just trying out the genre this is the game for you.
Heart totally broke when we lost all our CAVE CO., LTD. Games after IOS10. All of the newer variations by other devs are pay to play, with IAPs for credits to keep on playing. CAVE games were a little expensive, but you paid once, and the quality and replay value was always there. This game totally brings that feel back! Aside from the voice dialogue being only in Japanese, which we unfortunately dont understand, Im very happy to have found this game.
Really having a great time with this game. It has that just one more try quality that keeps us coming back. Very satisfying to finally make it through the stage after learning it with trial and error. Controls like a dream and art style is catchy.
When will the game be updated to the modern OS and IPhone screens such as the IPhone XS Max. We also wish there was a ship upgrade system in the game. To give us something extra to obtain.
Idk why it is allowed for devs to sell games that wont support iPhone X+ series. Game is ok we have barely played more than five mins and seems fun but not sure it is worth an overall such great reviews.

This game is like playing bug princess on maniac difficulty. Any chance of allowing us to adjust the difficulty.
Not only does this game overcome the shortcomings of the mobile platform for action gaming, it pushes the genre forward with fun, unique, agressive bombing and scoring mechanics tied to your survival! If you enjoy Cave-style shooting games, we recommend you bite the bullet and pick this game up. No, it wont quite push you like the games from the arcade, but it still rewards your skill and knowledge with equally explosive spectacle. Its fun in a surprising way. Great for players who just want to beat the game or keep playing for score. We look forward to playing this in an arcade someday, too.
What an incredibly good game. Its just as good as a Cave shooter (better than some actually). Controls are smooth, frame rate and graphics are crisp, and the bombing mechanic is quite fun! We were worried about the lack of difficulty settings but the bomb is really forgiving. It is still relentlessly difficult yet equally rewarding when you finally succeed. We truly hope Tanoshimasu releases future shooters! Thank you for this wonderful game after years of waiting.
Very challenging and exiting game from people that worked on some great games.
We played this on our iPad mini 2, and it runs pretty well; doesn't get 60 fps most of the time but it is still great. The graphics are sharp and the controls are tight like Cave shooters. We want to thank the developer for making this game supporting ios 11, because we can't play all our Cave shooters now because they stopped updating them.
It captures the fun and skill of a Cave game. It's an amazing experience of skill.
This game is very fun and addictive. If you like games like Deathsmiles, Mushihimesama, or Touhou games you will probably love this. It captures that Cave magic. Be sure to check out the settings. We tweaked the shot, bomb, and movement settings to get it to control exactly how we like. Looks, sounds, and plays amazing on iPad Pro.

Only 2 basic ships – spread and laser No unlockables – little replay ability No online leaderboards All dialog is in Japanese though it doesn't matter to us Score not registered until level is beaten we think every single shooter except this has different difficulty levels. Since there is nothing to unlock and only one difficulty the only thing to do is to try to beat your own score.
