They are challenging but not impossible, hint system is very helpful unlike other games. They are episodic and short enough to do a level while waiting for something but there are lots of levels if you want longer play. Really hope they make more.
Challenging just enough to keep us coming back often. The notes are a bit hard to find. We can only find 2 out of 3 on any level, but it makes us replay the game again and again to try and boost our achievements.
Puzzles start out easy but then they can get difficult pretty quick. Enjoyed this because after playing other escape games this one was quite a bit different. Can be very challenging if you dont use hints.
This game has been challenging our mind and we love the levels please make more games like this.

Fun and easy for those of us that want to have fun but not deal with excessively difficult puzzles.
We like the scenery change. We are still confused about how to find all the notes though. We have really enjoyed this game- the puzzles are challenging and intense, the notes are mysterious and we really like that. The game is very pretty and unique. We hope to play the next in this series soon.
We loved the game but we needed to use hints frequently and even a walkthrough when we started the game the game years ago. Feels good to finally finish this 2nd game. We finished the 3rd game a couple of days ago and that made us check to see if we finished this one.

This is an amazing game series that we would recommend to any of our friends. Great job! One thing that we would like to see is that the rest of the levels are free not just the first 9. Even though it is a low price our mom will not let us buy them so we only ever get to go on half of the adventure. But otherwise great game.

Fun game with some good challenges. Free with a 2.99 offer after a few levels but worth it.
It asks us to rate the game. We select skip. It freezes on a white screen. This happened more than once, even after closing the app and starting over. The first 2 levels were fun, but we couldnt get to level 3 yet.
The graphics and action arent the best, but at least its not a match 3 type game.
Loved Faraway 1 and was impressed enough to buy #2. Would have given a High 5 for a rating if we were able to gain access to the Bonus 19 and 20 Levels. Finished #2s Levels 1-18 without the walkthrough assistance and found all letters (3 letters per Levels 1-18…required help to find a couple of the 3rd letters); however, after completing level 18 and following the person through the portal, we received the congratulations upon completing but did not gain access to the bonus Levels 19 and 20. What is up? We found and completed the Homepage secret sliding blocks to gain access to the creepy tombstone. What else must we complete? This is so frustrating… Sadly, we already purchased Faraway 3 and 4, but if those have an anticlimactic end due to our inability to COMPLETELY finish, these will be the last purchases we will make by this developer. (Updated review…downgraded from original 4 to 3 rating. We also sent a feedback directly to the Pine Studios developers, and if we do not receive a decent response, we will downgrade again) Third time completing Faraway 2: Jungle Escape, and we still was not able to gain access to Levels 19 and 20. Since we completed the entire Faraway series and gained access the ALL levels of the Series 1 and 4-6, we understand the concept of finding all 3 notes/letters, breaking all pots/plates/canisters, and accessing the secret areas, as well. However, no matter what we do, the game refuses to allow us access into levels 19 and 20, which is not a huge deal as it adds nothing to the particular seriess journey, but it does identify a glitch of some type. We have accessed blogs and game assistance sites, looking for hints, but they offer nothing more than we already have accomplished. It also seems we were not the only one with the issue. We have an iPad Air, 2019 and have updated all iOS applications; therefore, it is not our OS. Additionally, level 18 has a quirky glitch at the spinning gear arrow-shaped puzzle. If you touch multiple gears at the same time, the gears flip up and no longer spin. The only way to correct the issue, is to exit the game, re-enter the game, and completely redo level 18. Since you cannot advance through the game without completing the puzzle, this is an issue. We would like to have a remedied response to both concerns. Just trying it out. So far so good. Ps. Now theres a glitch.
Update: Still buggy on our iPad Pro. Nothing is revealed when blocks are stacked correctly. This one is bad. The rest are good! First review: Buggy on our iPad Air 2 iOS 12. Had to quit an earlier level and restart to get it to work. Now we cant get 3rd letter in level 12 due to bug. We redid the entire level and it worked. Not the best Faraway.
Its a great game but we can not access the last 2 levels in the game. Our app ostensibly showing them and im soo confused at to why because we payed to get the game and we should be able to access the last two levels.
First off we loved smashing the jars even when theres nothing in them. The rest of the game is fun with logic and visual challenges we enjoyed, not too hard but hard enough to feel proud when we figured them out. The hints were helpful. The consistency throughout the levels was helpful too. We liked the music, soothing and unobtrusive. The narrative notes were the only weakness; they dont hold clues and often refer to obscure beings we never encounter. Thats not a negative so much as a neutral. Ill definitely play another Faraway.
We love this game. We ran into a glitch on level 13. We checked reviews and saw it was an issue before. Just like the previous review, we solved the puzzle but the door wouldnt open. We had issues getting the dice to go into the correct formation. We would exit, reload game and try again. Very frustrating.
We dont know if its only us, but for some reason we cant do the bonus levels on Faraway 2 & 3 even if we get all the notes.

Gorgeous, relaxing and fun. Intricate, mind-boggling puzzles with beautiful music and not time-sensitive so you can play at your leisure and stop if you need to without losing your place.
We recommend this game to anyone! Its challenging, but not too hard that you will get stuck like some games. Im going to purchase the bonus packs and extra levels and Im anxiously awaiting the newest versions!! Keep it coming.
Of course its a great game. Our only critique of the whole faraway series is that it would be amazing to have 360 degree view all the time as well as the ability to look up and down so we can enjoy the whole scene more seamlessly.

Puzzles are not too difficult, its a relaxing gameplay.
We enjoy solving the puzzles. Ive been playing since the first game came out, but Im literally stuck on level 13 because we cannot pick up the block by the cross to continue building the shapes! We bought the game to stop the ads but am disappointed because Im at an impasse.
